I am meticulous about who I choose to replace two complete 5-ton split system A/C units with the air handlers. With the help of A/C Discount (next door to ASAP) , I kept my original Goodman's running for 21 years. I got his quote on the best, most reliable TRANE unit, installed by ASAP and shopped it around. They were easily 3-7k cheaper for the whole job than the competition. I went in and talked to them and we had it completely scheduled and installed within 24 hours. They were polite, professional, and prompt. They explained the process, were sensitive to our animals' needs by allowing us time to let them out, and wasted no time, completing the entire installation in about 4.5 hours. The system was exactly what I wanted, two high-quality Trane 5 tons, not variable, with a gas heat pump and 2000 CFM constant-speed blower. With the good price, cost of electricity rising and more heat island effect, this system will pay for itself in 10 years, shaving 200-225 off each month's bill in the summer months. This was an amazing experience. Having to replace out an AC system is not something anyone wants to do. It can be very expensive and disruptive. I had worked with a different company in the past and something felt very wrong about them. That will require a different review. ASAP Air conditioning on the other hand was recommended to me by a friend. What a difference. I needed a 5 ton unit. I spoke with them about a lot of issues on brands and different functionalities. These guys really know their industry. I had a 5 ton Trane and I decided to replace this one with another 5 ton Trane single speed. I had replaced a different 5 ton Trane with a variable speed Lennox from the previous company. It was very expensive and I do not think it is as good a system. They recommended Lennox because they felt they got a better deal from Lennox. Lennox is good but it is complicated and overpriced. I had that previous company price the EXACT same system for this job. The previous company was FIVE THOUSAND dollars more for the exact same unit down to the specific product codes! Holy rip-off. That was without dealing with the access issues. ASAP Air conditioning is very fair and without question the best pricing around. Not everything is about pricing. The installers were the Coronado Brothers-Ricky and Ivan. Apparently they go by "the Miracle Brothers" and they own that title for sure. This unit was built into the ceiling of a bathroom. My other units were in closets so this was a huge challenge. We had to remove the ceiling but this was still an extremely tight space, not to mention hot. These guys were artisans and got the entire system in sections and did a spectacular job doing it. To further complicate this, the giant outdoor unit had to be lifted out and around another unit and a wine Refridgeration unit. They did an amazing job! I hope I will not need them again anytime soon, but I will absolutely use them again. So if you want the best pricing in town as well as the absolute best service and installers ASAP is what you need. They are very honest, very detailed, very neat, and very thorough. I really lucked out having my friend recommend them. They actually supplied AC to 2 other friend as well. If you want a great job done by experienced professionals who care about quality of workmanship and at a very fair price you want this company. Do yourself a favor and call them. I wanted to give a big shout-out to ASAP Air Conditioning and Heating. The owner, Wayne, is always so friendly anytime I call. Their call center girl is thorough and makes sure every service is handled from beginning to end from scheduling to making sure the techs arrive on time. Scott, my tech, solved my issue at my rental property THE SAME DAY - they have always been able to accommodate my service needs SAME DAY. My 103 degree rental cooled down just in time for a lease viewing that was to take place the following day. They are the only AC company I've used since they installed my 4-ton Trane (10 yr warranty). UPDATE: My AC is still under manufacturer warranty for the inner evaporator coil. It was FREE. It took a tech 45 minutes to install. Freon I paid to be put in earlier already totally escaped and a dye test I paid $500 for was done. I was then charged $1500 for a free part and 45 minutes of labor for a faulty AC component. If I was someone new who had to get their AC serviced and had that issue, that would be the rate but $2k for 45 minute installation, free part, and re-adding Freon is excessive. read more

We contacted them on Tuesday about getting a new AC unit installed when ours quit after 14 years of service. We had a Trane and wanted to get the same model and they are a Trane installer. What I did not expect was that their price was $3-5k less expensive than two other quotes we got - with the same warranty offered! ASAP installed two HVAC on our home. All went well for some time. Then one of the units started having issues with low coolant. It was discovered that one of the units had a slow leak. The leak was isolated to the line set. It was determined by several HVAC companies that the leak was in the wall of the house and could not be seen or repaired easily. Upon closer examination the leak appeared to be at the location of the AC disconnect box, that had been mounted baby ASAP. The line set was subsequently replaced and the unit does not leak. The distribution box mounting screw is in a direct line with the ac line set in the wall. It was also determined that at the time of installation a stop leak product was introduced to the system, which leads one to assume that ASAP knew there was a problem. All this was brought ton the attention of at least two different supervisors at ASAP. They refused to accept any responsibility for the problem and instead tried to accuse any other company that may have worked on the HVAC units. Needless to say I would not either use or recommend this company to do any HVAC work. read more

HVAC can be hit or miss but our experience with ASAP was great. One of our units went out on a Saturday - we called ASAP and they quoted a very competitive price for a new Trane replacement system. The crew came out the following day to install and the system was up and running by lunch time. They certainly delivered on their name. After running for a few days, we felt the air flow was a little high so we called and requested they adjust it. My air conditioner decided to break down on a Thursday evening at around 5pm...great. Called around to many places, most couldn't see me until the next day. Then I called ASAP and they advised they could come out and look that evening after another job as long as I didn't mind it being too late. Deal! They looked over the until and determined this issue (the compressor ). They quoted me the repair which was as expected, and then a replacement unit. They had the replacement unit in stock and could install soon. Unfortunately I have a home warranty that I'm waiting on before I choose which way to proceed, but they have been extremely helpful though that process, even though they don't work directly with home warranty companies (don't blame them at all). Avoid this company like the plague. At first I was excited by how quickly they could come out and replace our downstairs AC unit last August. But then the sales rep Al, kept trying to drive the price up after we had agreed to a number to get the work done. Then, this week, we discovered that they reused the old drip pan from our old unit on our new one, and that it failed. This has caused a couple thousand dollars worth of water damage. My entire master bathroom is going to have to be torn apart and treated to prevent mold. You can even see in the picture below that they installed the unit crooked, and the condensation is missing the primary drip pan entirely. It's going to cost me even more money to fix the install. In fact, all of these repairs are going to cost me more than the unit did. I would have rather used a better company last August than have to deal with more issues due to their shoddy work. Last year in June our AC went out on a 100 degree day. The heat in our home was oppressive.I called our home warranty service to have a HV person could come repair the unit. The HV person said that the unit was not installed correctly when the house was built so they could not even inspect it. The previous owners of our home also had a warranty on the AC unit. I called the service company out and the repair person told me that the issue was an ongoing problem, and there was really no fix. Someone from their office quoted me a price that was more then I felt comfortable with. I started calling around. To get quotes. The range was enormous. The lowest estimate was from ASAP, the high end was 2.5x times more then ASAP and the others were scattered between the low and the high. I called ASAP told them what I wanted, gave them the part number from my existing unit. They told me what I needed and the cost. The next day after I approved the quote they arrived to remove the old unit and install the new unit. They showed me the old unit they removed and parts of it were so rusty I could poke my finger thru the rusted metal. I was surprised at what a deplorable condition it was in and that it worked at all. They finished in about 4 hours and our home has been comfortable ever since. ASAP is professional, reasonably priced, do what they say, and sell you what you need. They do not sell you what you do not need. With some of the other companies I was dealing with their sales pitches were ridiculous (it was often hard to keep a straight face). When it come to air and heating I recommend ASAP. read more
