This place was unique and delicious. Go with a group and split food. We got the fried shrimp, Asado fries, pineapple mint juice, the $45 meat platter and the surf & turf. The turf was tender but had almost no flavor. The half chicken was dry. But the rest was nice. Marbled, tender meat. The fries and the juice were our favorite. And the fries feed 2 easy. I lived in Argentina half of my life, this is not a traditional place, they take forever to serve you and food is not good, Empandas are ok but there is nothing special about them, the parrillada was sooo bad meat was tough the chorizos were cold and burned ? , I don't know how they cook the food but I don't even want to imagine. Great ambience, but the food is nothing above average. Ordered a sandwich and would say it is a bit overpriced. Lack of flavor and the meat was a bit tough and chewy (fries were really good though). Also would recommend the servers worked on the service. There would be long periods of time where they would disappear and people would be waiting to be seated or waiting to pay. Asado is simply incredible. Cooked in the true Argentine fashion, the meat is just something you can't get anywhere else. Their chimichurri is out of this world. The service is fantastic as well. A few parties that arrived after us (that were the same size or larger) were seated in that timespan. This place is in the same location i live at. The service was pretty good when i came here about a month ago. I ordered the Chicken Linguini. They serve you pretty big portions. I loved the chicken on my Linguini. It was very well cooked. Tender and juicy, yet still grilled to perfection. The bread and chimichurri were great! They have a desert counter with all sorts of delicious pastries. I look forward to coming back. Only thing is how understaffed they were when I came in. Granted they were having their soft opening. I have been 2x both very special occasions. This was the BEST place to go for the occasion. First off it is the best Argentine food I have had outside of Argentina itself ( I lived in Buenos Aires for a few years) I have tried all the Parilladas and some of the other plates (empanadas, milenesa napolitana) my fav is the parilladas. The best blood sausage, and tongue I have ever had in my life and I have never liked it before. The chicken and all the meats are prepared with time and flavor, quality is very important at asado. I have the owner wait on us for one of the occasions and he was A HOOT! We had the best night out I had had in years. But more about the food, the chimiurri sauce was so good it could sexual. The special drinks (mango and pineapple) are unreal and very homemade and natural, I could taste no added sugar, just pure fruit. They were served to us in a fancy way too so it was cool. Great place for any meaningful date or occasion, they even do weddings. the desserts! The peach cake is may fav so far. I have had the milga I think it's called and the chocolate cake. The homemade alfajores looked very good. I would recommend this place to anyone who respects good meat and food, ron Swanson would approve. This is my second or third visit here and the food is fantastic. Fresh, well-cooked, well-presented. However, despite having a quite a bit of patio space and heat lamps, they do not allow patio seating, even during lunch. There is little social distancing, and people are seated close together (our request to get an isolated table was honored but people kept on packing in and they are not operating at a limited capacity to allow for social distancing). In the middle of our meal, our masks obviously off, the owner (I think I remember him from a previous visit but I'm not a 100% sure) or someone representing the restaurant shows up at our table and strikes up a conversation about the food. His face is less than six feet away from us and our food, and he is not wearing a mask (well, he is wearing what South Park referred to as a "chin diaper" which means neither nose nor mouth is covered). I went out to eat after months and I really want to support local restaurants- but not one that does not take the pandemic seriously. I know several that do and I'll continue to take-out from them. My husband served his Mission in Salta Argentina , and I always love to take him to try new Argentinian restaurants. This place was good, but not something we would probably have again. The food tasted good, but was way overpriced. I had a Milanesa sandwich and he had the Milenesa sandwhich. We walked out spending $66 on a dinner for two. (We usually spend that on a place like Tucanos that has unlimited food and drink refills.) The service was good and that's why ultimately I gave them three stars. The venue is small, and doesn't fit very many people but it is a quaint and cozy feel. Also, try to sit away from the door especially when it's cold because every time the door opened you felt like you were in a freezer. Good place to check out, but more like a one time event. read more
