If you don't visit this restaurant while you are in Provo area, you will regret. Our colleagues went to this restaurant for dinner. Catalina helped our table and she was super friendly. (She even spoke Korean to us! Sooooo cute) we ordered Parillada Asado with french fries, potato sald, and veggies. We were not sure if it is enough, and when it came out, we were stunned. That's just a lot for 60 bucks. Everything on the plate was very tasty(+Argentinian flag deco was also cute), and especially chicken was melting in my mouth. We were using corporate card so we had to put only 20% tips, but i wish i can personally visit here next time and treat them what they deserve better! Mountain view was also great, and interior was pretty. Easily best restaurant in town.

If there's one thing that Asado does really well, it's the meats! I was really impressed that with the 1/2 chicken I got, it was still flavorful under the skin and very juicy and moist. The mashed potatoes were silky smooth, which i realize some like chunks, but this was awesome. I really appreciated that the server gave some honest insight into which side dishes were better than others. The complimentary bread is always so good. The only downside was our waiter disappeared for about 20-30 minutes, so our water wasn't filled for quite some time. Otherwise, a great night out!

I'll start by saying the restaurant is good. It's not bad. It's not amazing. But it's a solid good. The complimentary bread is AMAZING. I would go back just to eat that over and over again. We got the asada fries as an appetizer and they were a great start. Lots of amazing flavors. I went big baller and got the tomahawk steak. It came out looking amazing and is complimented with all of their available sides. The meat was delicious but it needed more seasoning. I added salt and it was a good addition. The sides are where things got sideways for me. The grilled veggies felt like a Costco bag. The mashed potatoes - that were wonderfully presented inside a red pepper - turned out to be your basic Idahoan potatoes from the box. I expected much more. My wife got some bacon wrapped shrimp dish that was stuffed with crab which she thoroughly enjoyed. I would probably go back. But I wouldn't get the potatoes!

I like the taste, the service and the exterior and interior. The lady who serve us was friendly and helpful. She explained the different cut of steak and help us avoided a drier cut. The fried fish fillets were so light and flavorful. The rice. I am a fan of seasoned rice (can I still call them white rice?) We couldn't decide if we should have flan or Tres leches cake?! Decisions decisions... she recommended the cake because as a flan lover herself, she still suggested we try the cake. This has become the place that I stop by every time I'm in town. I'm not sure if I'll ever order the platter over $100, but I snapped a picture just to show you that they're not lying!

Salt. The one ingredient I felt was missing from everything and could've easily taken my three star rating to five. The menu is fantastic, but the execution fell short for me. The meat was also a bit overcooked, in my opinion. But the worst part was that all of the sides were lacking seasoning in a big way. (Especially the fries!!) Our waiter was really really nice and a pleasure to be around. But ultimately my first time at Asado fell short.

Service:2 stars, not attentive and fast. We ordered mid well done stake but midum rare. They took my water to refill but forgot to bring. They did not check on our food and anything to refill that we had to constantly try to catch their attention Food: 3 stars Empanadas was dry and dough was roo thin that it was more crunch. Alafore, they were SO STINGY with dulcet de Leche. There was a thin thin layer of Dule de Leche. Mildness was same. Dry. Very disappointing

It's still a five for me. Service was friendly and great. I see complaints of slow service but this is good food and for me that deserves to take time. Just relax and enjoy the atmosphere here which is comfortable and nice. I tried the entrana which I liked and the asado fries again. I also tried the pineapple mint drink which was delicious.

The parking lot was a bit busy but we found a spot and had a small walk. The staff was prompt and sat us immediately. We had very quick service. The bread they served was delicious. We had the burger, meat pie and Milanesas. Both were good. The Milanesas was recommended by the waiter and I enjoyed the item but probably wouldn't order it in the future. The fried seemed to be homemade. The portions are large. The place was clean. I would definitely come back but would perhaps try another entree. The dessert case was tempting too but we were just too full from the portions to get anything.

WOW! I'm not sure what else to say...but I'll give it a try. Asado is a slightly upscale place with a ton of character and FLAVOR! I tried several things on the menu and each one was better than the previous. My only complaint was that I filled up on the delicious appetizers and left no room for the main course. However, it worked out well that I had leftovers to enjoy for a few days-the portion sizes are very generous. The service matches the quality of the food. We were commenting to ourselves about being cold and moments later there was a heat lamp near our table, pointed at us. Everything about this restaurant exudes greatness. I'm excited to return in the future and enjoying even more delicious food.

Asado was a great dinner choice while I was visiting the area. Our server was the best and helped us to navigate the menu. We both started with some Fresca drinks. They were refreshing and light but we wanted to taste a bit more of the fruit (not a bad thing though). The complimentary bread was sooo good that we had to ask for more! I had the Asado Cordon Bleu and it was really interesting, good and a huge serving. I loved how the dish was put together because it was much different than you'd typically see. The other guest had one of the beef dishes (can't remember which one) and thought that it was very good. I highly recommend this place!

I absolutely loved this place, it's small and cozy and fun for a night out. My husband and I went with another couple and were there for a couple hours. The owner was so wonderful, he actually helped us order and sat and talked with us for like 15-20 min. I'm not a huge meat lover but the meat here was such high quality and so well seasoned and cooked I could not resist. I 100 percent recommend this place. On Friday's they have live music and Kate one after a certain time I believe. Great little spot in Utah county. read more

The owner Daniel, is very much involved with the customers and the kitchen. He's always walking around asking and making sure all customers are happy and getting the best service possible. This place is AWESOME. It's absolutely authentic Argentine food. The asado was amazing. The empanadas are spot on. All of the food was absolutely perfect. But what is even better was the service. The young lady that helped us was positively delightful. One other nice touch is the owner came around and introduced himself to us. He is a very friendly likable guy. read more

My wife and I love this spot. We enjoyed it so much we came here 2 weeks in a row on our night out! Strongly recommend the Parrillada in its original form. Expand your horizons and give something new a try. Everything was cooked perfectly and the staff was happy and helpful. Definitely leave yourself some room for dessert though. Try the Chaja! The only reason I didn't give a 5 star is that I feel they're given out too much and they've lost their meaning, but I'd give this spot a 4.75 no problem! Solid food, solid service, no complaints. We would recommend this place to anyone. We plan on returning again soon! read more

This place was worth the average 18 - 25 min wait from walk in to sit down. Yes the place is packed as it was for dinner service but the food and environment is worth it. The waitress was kind and patient during our questions of the menu. Please try the Asado fries as an appetizer and be ready to share the large portion or it can be your entree. The owner was visible assisting on seating tables cleaning up and entertaining the guests super kind and humble. If your looking for something new or want authentic Argentinian food try this place. Today was our first visit and we could see they won an award for the best place to dine on a date. Check them out !! read more

This is a wonderful place with amazing food and service. Julio and team have done an outstanding job bringing his authentic taste of Argentina to us. And if you're a soccer fan that's an extra bonus with multiple games being televised. The Spinach & Egg Tarta is a surprisingly delicious combination, and if you like meat (why else would you go for Argentine cuisine?) you must try the Parrillada and sample several types of specialties. It's a lot of food and very satisfying. read more

I am never tired to come to this great restaurant. The owner Julio is always there to greet us and takes the time to talk to us. The servers are super friendly the whole ambience it's very inviting Now let's talk about the food. You can't be wrong with any of the choices here. My top favorite is entraña, but I also like the milanesa napolitana, the sandwiches are tasty an huge and the burgers to die for. Highly recommend this place. read more

I absolutely love coming here for little treats or family meals. The emanadas are always fresh and ready for pick up when I'm in a hurry. The Utah burger I think won best in state, but the whole menu is great! I love the sandwiches, the drinks especially the mint pineapple lemonade! Let's also talk desserts! This place has such great options, from traditional cakes and pastries to blended drinks & special smoothies! One of my favorite restaurants for brunch, lunch and dinner! read more

I have zero complaints about the food, everything I had was delightful. In fact, in time of hunger, I may even consider selling my least favorite parent for a meal, it was that good! My complaints are with the service and the food more than makes up for it. Their waiting area and how they track guests is a little disorganized. People who arrived and signed up after my party were seated prior to us, despite having the same number of guests. When we were finally seated, the waiter took our drink order, got our drinks wrong and then took forever bringing them to us. On the plus side the drinks we got were delectable so it was a win-win. When he eventually took our order it took a long time to come out. The menu warns you that everything is made fresh, so I expected the food to take a while. The problem is that our appetizers and bread came out after our food was finally served. It is my experience that the bread and appetizers are generally served prior to the food so that you have something to munch on. My last complaint is that they sat us in an area that doubles as a dance floor, so the instant dance time began, they came and bluntly pushed our table out of the way. Having said all of these things, I still plan to go back as the food made up for any offenses. I would have possibly rated this restaurant 5/5 stars had it not been for the tiny inconveniences. An awesome restaurant with excellent food, awesome ambiance, singing, dancing and drinks and desserts to die for. read more

It was freezing in the restaurant. My burger was rare and I asked for well. Another's steak was over cooked and asked to cook medium rare. Food took too long. They brought lemons when I asked for limes. They didn't handle things appropriately. read more

In from Orange County on business and was on my way back from Price to Salt Lake City when I realized I was hungry and by the time I got back to SLC a lot of places would be closed. Got off freeway and ran a Yelp search-saw this place and said "I gotta go there" - couldn't believe this would be in Orem. Once I got there it was as good as the reviews-great entrana, fries, the lengua appetizer was wonderful...and the service couldn't have been frendlier-at a very reasonable price for what you get. One more thing-as a soccer fan I was glad that RSL got the same treatment as Messi (most of the time at an Argentine place MLS would be nonexistent)- and the signed Clint Dempsey shirt was even better! 5 stars- will definitely return next time I'm in the area. Since my meeting in Price went real well, I suspect it will be soon. read more

Second time here tonight and still amazing. Pretty sure the Pollo Al Tropical is the best chicken I've ever had (ordered the first time we came). Ask for the Asado Fries, freakin delicious with carne asada, peppers, and chimichurri sauce. Then we shared the Parrillada Utah with four people and it was plenty and all delicious. Highly recommend it all! read more

Amazing establishment. All fresh meats never frozen. Empanadas are nothing short of sitting in Buenas Aires! The Asado frys are a meal in themselves. Then some of the best Entrada I've had since being in Argentina. Do not miss this restaurant. Great service, great atmosphere! Will be a regular stop from now on! read more

I've never been to Argentina, but I feel I've been closer after having dined at Asado. Good menu and great service. Had a couple of empanadas and the papas rellenos as appetizers. All very good! We also tried the breaded beef with fried egg and side of rice, and a half chicken entree with side of mashed potatoes. All very good except for the chicken which was much too salty. The owner came by and gave us a sample of the matambre & ruso appetizer that was quite different and outstanding. We had no room for desserts but Asado has a great variety on display. This place is so good. I just went back last night after a few months and was kicking myself that I'd waited that long. I can't remember what the appetizer is called but the loaded fries are a must, and I've got the pollo tropical (which is a 1/2 chicken) and it is so good. We've also ordered burgers, pasta, and the mixed meat and have liked every single thing. Atmosphere is nice, casual, soccer on at the bar, just a good vibe. Nice staff. You won't regret it. read more

Great food, great atmosphere and vibe. However, the customer service, specially Pavel, was what made coming to this restaurant special and a 5 star experience. Pavel was very kind, even got tortillas for us (at an Argentinian restaurant), funny, and prompt in serving our food. My mother and I absolutely recommend this place. read more

Not a good customer service experience. A group of us went to enjoy dinner and dancing while our husbands were out of town. We were told it would be 5-10 minutes, but we sat there for 45 minutes. Another group of people came in and waited 5 minutes and were sat before us!!!! Unbelievable. We ended up leaving after they told us it would be a few more minutes.... 10 minutes later. Excellent grill! The lunch for two was phenomenal. In particular the Chicken, skirt steak (medium rare) and sausage. Fresh salad and mash potatoes very very good. I highly recommend the chimichurri sauce on the grill and bread! Enjoy!! read more

I really had a great food experience at this restaurant. I thought the dishes were tasty and food was nice and fresh. The service was also quite good too. What I don't understand is why it was so expensive. I don't know if they're trying to be high end and if that just means they must charge more, but where the food was very good it certainly wasn't worth the ridiculously high price tag. read more

We had a party of 4 on Friday night. We were told the wait would be 30 minutes but we sat down after 15-20 minutes, which made us very happy! The service was not exceptional; we didn't have drinks until 10 minutes after being seated and after placing our orders. With that said, the food was good! The presentation was beautiful and the beef was wonderful! I got a side salad that I didn't love because it had wet lettuce, but the Pollo Al Tropical was great! This place is for meat lovers and Argentinian enthusiasts. read more

We went Friday night and wait time to be seated was around an HR. We ordered and my friends salmon was not cooked from the middle. Are you seriously trying to give her food poisoning. She didn't say anything. For the price I would of. My order for the kids was a chicken milenesa and that was it no other side. My order was yummy shrimp covered with cheese and crab. The only suggestion would be to come up with thicker steak fries these little skinny fries are gross. Much better at McDonald's well for the price at least. Thank you. read more

NOT! PARRILADA ASADO - disgusting! The blood sausage and tripe - horrific, which I actually like but not at Asado. Once I brought this mix up to our waitress's attention she said that the only difference is that we didn't get the chicken, well I no longer had the menu but that did not sound right. She quickly said that she will bring us some more chicken which never came because they were out. I also complained to the owner and this is what he said " you are crying because you didn't get the chicken?" At that point and time I was speechless and didn't know what to say which is very unusual for me as well I didn't want to make a scene in front of my friends, he asked me what I wanted. What a poor customer service! He did not offer us anything in return. In my opinion the owner should stay in the kitchen where he belongs. This place is rough. I Really want to like it but 3 strikes you're out. I first went just over a year ago with a large group. Slow wait times are acceptable when you have 15+ people at your table-- we were there 3 hours and none of our steaks were cooked properly. I went back 2 months ago for dinner and it was pretty empty. Still took over an hhour before I got my food. I spent 4 years in Argentina and Uruguay. Flavors are good but they don't know how to hit a steak temperature and half the food was not edible (I'm not a picky eater IMO). I was on a business lunch and the guy I was with Barely touched his food. I went bacK this week for the final time. Bad service again and just ok food I love a good steak but don't have 2+ hours most days and if you ask me what temp I like it then cook it to that temp otherwise don't ask. I hope these guys can figure it out but until then I'd say steer clear read more

I wanted to like this place, after all the great reviews of course I came in just expecting that the meats would be amazing as my experience with most Argentinian cuisine is great detail the way they cook their meats. Service was ok attentive to drinks and great with taking out order and making suggestions, when the food came out everything seemed dry I felt like even the server was hesitant as she lay out the platters. The meats from the start looked over cooked and dry. I had to douse them in hot sauce to get any moisture. Our waiter was sweet to us but the receptionist seemed to take an issue with us wearing an Adidas jacket and not a black tie and was curt and almost refused to let me go back to our table when I forgot something while we were leaving. My mom and I just had our first experience at Asado, and because my mom and I are originally from Argentina we had very high expectations about every aspect of this place. And let me tell you it blew our minds how incredible everything was. The staff was amazing, super nice and helpful with anything we needed. The atmosphere made me feel like we were back in Argentina with Tango music playing in the background and the huge portrait of a busy Argentinian city. The bread that they start you off with is super fresh and crunchy to perfection. The empanadas are traditional and flakey, and at $2 per empanada, it competes with most other nicer Argentinian places around.
