Parillada Asado
Ben L.

If you don't visit this restaurant while you are in Provo area, you will regret. Our colleagues went to this restaurant for dinner. Catalina helped our table and she was super friendly. (She even spoke Korean to us! Sooooo cute) we ordered Parillada Asado with french fries, potato sald, and veggies. We were not sure if it is enough, and when it came out, we were stunned. That's just a lot for 60 bucks. Everything on the plate was very tasty(+Argentinian flag deco was also cute), and especially chicken was melting in my mouth. We were using corporate card so we had to put only 20% tips, but i wish i can personally visit here next time and treat them what they deserve better! Mountain view was also great, and interior was pretty. Easily best restaurant in town.

If there's one thing that Asado does really well, it's the meats! I was really impressed that with the 1/2 chicken I got, it was still flavorful under the skin and very juicy and moist. The mashed potatoes were silky smooth, which i realize some like chunks, but this was awesome. I really appreciated that the server gave some honest insight into which side dishes were better than others. The complimentary bread is always so good. The only downside was our waiter disappeared for about 20-30 minutes, so our water wasn't filled for quite some time. Otherwise, a great night out!

I'll start by saying the restaurant is good. It's not bad. It's not amazing. But it's a solid good. The complimentary bread is AMAZING. I would go back just to eat that over and over again. We got the asada fries as an appetizer and they were a great start. Lots of amazing flavors. I went big baller and got the tomahawk steak. It came out looking amazing and is complimented with all of their available sides. The meat was delicious but it needed more seasoning. I added salt and it was a good addition. The sides are where things got sideways for me. The grilled veggies felt like a Costco bag. The mashed potatoes - that were wonderfully presented inside a red pepper - turned out to be your basic Idahoan potatoes from the box. I expected much more. My wife got some bacon wrapped shrimp dish that was stuffed with crab which she thoroughly enjoyed. I would probably go back. But I wouldn't get the potatoes!

I like the taste, the service and the exterior and interior. The lady who serve us was friendly and helpful. She explained the different cut of steak and help us avoided a drier cut. The fried fish fillets were so light and flavorful. The rice. I am a fan of seasoned rice (can I still call them white rice?) We couldn't decide if we should have flan or Tres leches cake?! Decisions decisions... she recommended the cake because as a flan lover herself, she still suggested we try the cake. This has become the place that I stop by every time I'm in town. I'm not sure if I'll ever order the platter over $100, but I snapped a picture just to show you that they're not lying!

Salt. The one ingredient I felt was missing from everything and could've easily taken my three star rating to five. The menu is fantastic, but the execution fell short for me. The meat was also a bit overcooked, in my opinion. But the worst part was that all of the sides were lacking seasoning in a big way. (Especially the fries!!) Our waiter was really really nice and a pleasure to be around. But ultimately my first time at Asado fell short.

As an Argentinian I love their food. The Asado is always so good and the Milanese's are always perfect! Been coming here for a long time and I've always been treated so well by the staff. Love the food love the place!

Service:2 stars, not attentive and fast. We ordered mid well done stake but midum rare. They took my water to refill but forgot to bring. They did not check on our food and anything to refill that we had to constantly try to catch their attention Food: 3 stars Empanadas was dry and dough was roo thin that it was more crunch. Alafore, they were SO STINGY with dulcet de Leche. There was a thin thin layer of Dule de Leche. Mildness was same. Dry. Very disappointing

It's still a five for me. Service was friendly and great. I see complaints of slow service but this is good food and for me that deserves to take time. Just relax and enjoy the atmosphere here which is comfortable and nice. I tried the entrana which I liked and the asado fries again. I also tried the pineapple mint drink which was delicious.

The parking lot was a bit busy but we found a spot and had a small walk. The staff was prompt and sat us immediately. We had very quick service. The bread they served was delicious. We had the burger, meat pie and Milanesas. Both were good. The Milanesas was recommended by the waiter and I enjoyed the item but probably wouldn't order it in the future. The fried seemed to be homemade. The portions are large. The place was clean. I would definitely come back but would perhaps try another entree. The dessert case was tempting too but we were just too full from the portions to get anything.

WOW! I'm not sure what else to say...but I'll give it a try. Asado is a slightly upscale place with a ton of character and FLAVOR! I tried several things on the menu and each one was better than the previous. My only complaint was that I filled up on the delicious appetizers and left no room for the main course. However, it worked out well that I had leftovers to enjoy for a few days-the portion sizes are very generous. The service matches the quality of the food. We were commenting to ourselves about being cold and moments later there was a heat lamp near our table, pointed at us. Everything about this restaurant exudes greatness. I'm excited to return in the future and enjoying even more delicious food.

Asado was a great dinner choice while I was visiting the area. Our server was the best and helped us to navigate the menu. We both started with some Fresca drinks. They were refreshing and light but we wanted to taste a bit more of the fruit (not a bad thing though). The complimentary bread was sooo good that we had to ask for more! I had the Asado Cordon Bleu and it was really interesting, good and a huge serving. I loved how the dish was put together because it was much different than you'd typically see. The other guest had one of the beef dishes (can't remember which one) and thought that it was very good. I highly recommend this place!

Really good food! Different from the norm and the best horchata!! Their drinks are to die for. The pineapple mint drink was great too!

I've been to his restaurant in Las Vegas, for the posh and sexy crowd. So when I noticed Bobby's Burgers popping up around the country I counted the days till one was close enough for me to try. So when I saw the Provo locale on a recent visit ...of course I HAD to stop. I downloaded the app and ordered ...the location was very sterile...I guess I was expecting something a little more personable like the man himself...but ok...what really matters is the burgers right? I don't mind paying $13+ for a burger but it better be tasty and worth the price. I got the Crunch Burger and Cheese Fries. The ingredients were definitely quality and I'm loving the buns they used. There were a bunch of signature sauces (that I had to sample...I mean BF loves his sauces and I wanted to see what he's working with) that were alright...just fancy Fry Sauce really. The burger was substantial for sure!! Love that it wasn't OVER seasoned like too many places do, to cover up inferior meat like a metaphorical dead body. It was almost perfect....the chips were beyond soggy....creating a not so appetizing texture...they were like the freeze dried potato slices you get in a box of Potato AuGratin. However once I got those off I was VERY impressed with my burger. All in all it wasn't bad and it was pretty cool after being a huge fan for years to try a Bobby Flay burger.

The Crunchburger was just not worth it though. It needed some variety and other flavors. I definitely don't need to order it again, and it didn't convince me to come back. Maybe the other burgers are better, but they cost $13. At least my Crunchburger was free, thanks to signing up for the app.

The lighting and seating feel eclectic without being uncomfortable--casual, inviting, and easy to settle into. Our waitress, Avery, was excellent. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to walk us through the menu, which made ordering easy. We shared a large order of fries between the three of us, and they were more than enough. The fry sauce stood out immediately--definitely not the standard Utah variety--and genuinely excellent. On Avery's recommendation, I ordered the Cowboy in LA, and I'm very glad I did. The flavors were well-balanced and bold, and it was one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. My son and his friend both ordered the Stoneman burger and agreed it was really good as well. Overall, this was a standout experience. I'd recommend Backdoor BRGR without hesitation--easily the best burger I've had in years.

It felt a little odd walking through the back @ first, as we got a little peek into the kitchen. It didn't seem like we should have been back there, but once we got to the host area, we were assured that entering through the back is completely fine. As we sat there, we noticed many people doing the same thing. The place is western theme. Lots of fun pictures on the walls, random lighting and chairs, I personally loved the vibe. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful with suggestions on the menu. We felt right at home, great hospitality here. I wanted to try a burger that sounded really out of the ordinary, so I got the Grumpy Claire. It has apples on it, a savory caramel sauce, it just sounded insane, and I had to try it out. I also got an order of onion rings. The burger was cooked to perfection, had great flavor and was more delicious than I imagined. My husband got the Poco Bueno. I tried a bite, I did not like it. The reason I did not order it was because that sounded like a burger I'd find at any regular burger joint. The problem I had with the burger was the seasonings used. It tasted like a very strong taco seasoning was added to the patty. I do not like taco seasoning at all, so this was a No from me. My husband got an order of fries with his burger, which were very good! &Their fry sauce is amazing! The staff makes you feel like part of the family & check in on you consistently throughout your visit. The part that stood out the most was that not only was our waitress checking in on us, the other waitstaff would come by and ask how we were doing as well. The owner came over to chat with us too. She came up, introduced herself, asked how our meal was, and we talked with her for several minutes to follow. I appreciated that experience. I highly recommend trying Backdoor BRGR if you haven't yet! The pricing was fair, the staff is amazing, the owner is a sweetheart, and the food is incredible.

UPDATE 7/1/25 5/5 Stars…read more Okay, I take it back. I came back today--this time well before the dinner rush--and this is the Burger Supreme I remember. No crowd, no chaos. The drive-thru was empty (a first for me), and I actually got to enjoy my food without feeling like someone's awkward uncle crashing a BYU date night. So protip: if you're like me and don't like loud places with large crowds, don't go Monday nights (silly me, I should've remembered Monday's were a thing in Provo). Also, I upgraded to the double bacon cheeseburger. Easily one of the best decisions I've made all week. Juicy, crispy, cheesy perfection. Redemption complete. 6/30/25 4/5 Stars I used to hit this place all the time back in my BYU days--sometimes multiple times a week. So since I'm currently visiting Utah, I decided (Finally!) to go back for my bacon cheeseburger fix. Still tasty. Just as greasy and glorious as I remembered. But i hate crowds, so I thought I was being smart by showing up around 9:30 or 10, assuming the late hour would mean a quiet, empty dining room. (Because really, who the heck besides me eats dinner after 9PM?--hellooo heartburn!) Turns out, the answer is: everyone at BYU. The place was packed--wall-to-wall with students on dates, friend groups, and couples who probably just left a ward FHE activity. I'm closer to 40 than any of them, so yeah--major fish-out-of-water vibes. Tasty burger. Slight identity crisis. Would still recommend though..
