Wanted a quote for tree trimming and maintenance and scheduled a 10:45 AM meeting so they can provide a quote. It was raining in the morning so my wife and I waited. I texted them and the owner, Jose, responded that they're a little late because of traffic conditions due to the rain. After over 30 minutes of waiting, we decided to stop waiting and went about our day, having lost time we could've used to do something...like work. About 20 minutes after we left the house, we received a call from one of the workers who told us he was just informed of the scheduled appointment and was apologetic for missing it. The estimate they provided was thorough and was sent timely. When we agreed to move forward, they set up a time that was more or less what we had talked about and arrived on time. Yes the price is competitive. Made appointment on last Friday 2pm. Got a call in the morning that he could not make it, agreed to change the appointment at Monday 2pm. It was a rental house. I drove there at 1:45pm, no one showed. Called, no answer. Texted, replied it needed to changed to 3:30pm, asked me to be there at 4:15pm to pay. Fine. Drove there again at 4:10pm. STILL NO SHOW. Called, said on the way! We agreed the job should be completed on 4:15pm and that is the time I went there to pay. But no, they were just "ON THE WAY"! Don't bother, won't try this one again. And definitely not recommend for those take time seriously. read more

I have a very large Oak tree in my front yard that has never been trimmed. Submitted online quote request on Yelp, got a call back in less than 10 minutes. It was raining so they did the estimate the following day (did a drive by estimate so I didn't need to be home). Got a quote in the morning, it was such a good price and with the 5 star reviews I felt comfortable with their quality of work so I agreed over the phone and confirmed price via text. They completed my tree trimming that same day! They cleaned up after themselves to the point you almost couldn't tell they were here. Tree looks amazing, me neighbors are still giving me compliments. I checked in on them via security cameras and they were always busy and safe especially with the limbs close to the house. I had an Ash tree that was planted way too close to the house. After 25* years the roots started to lift of the foundation of the porch and it just had to be removed before it did any further damage. Thanks to Yelp, on Sunday night I used the request proposal function and was able to find a few professionals who agreed to stop by the house and give me an estimate. Humberto was the first to give an estimate and ended up being the most reasonable estimate. Although I didn't put it in my proposal request, I was trying to get this done ASAP and surprise my wife before she got home on Thursday. Humberto said he had a crew that could get the work done on Tuesday and he lived up to his word! They did an excellent job; the guys were polite, and professional. Very pleased with everything. They were simply the best in providing tree service! P.S. - They ran out of gas while grinding the stump. I had about a 1/8 of a can of gas left that I use for my mower and loaned it to them. Great service! I requested a quote through yelp late at night. Humberto replied at 6am and was at my door step by 9am. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. The crew came out the following morning and had trimmed two large trees, two smaller trees, and a large shrub within a few hours. They even took the time to remove all of the ugly moss balls from the large trees. They took care when trimming the limbs over mine and my neighbor's roofs. Humberto was in communication with from the time the guys started and arrived as they finished to ensure that I was happy. We walked through the yard to check all the trees and make sure that all the mess was cleaned up. They even hauled away a big pile of trimmings that I had previously cut and left in the back of the yard. I will call them in the future for all my tree needs. I would recommend to anyone. If you care about insurance don't go with this guy. He stated he had insurance, but failed to produce it. We scheduled a date/time to trim our oaks with him, but he failed to show when my husband made it apparent that no work would be done until he showed us his insurance. Stopped responding to our messages as well. There are better guys out there - don't waste your time. read more

The only reason they even got one star is because the two guy who cut down the tree did a great job, if it would of been just them, they would have gotten five stars, but then the guy who came out to grind the stump down did the worst job I have ever seen. He did NOT grind the stump down below ground level like I asked, then he covered it up with the shredding and dirt mixed with a pile about 8 feet in diameter and a foot high, and just left it, he did not clean it up, nor would he come back to clean it up. I am 70 years old, and now I am going to have to go out in the hot sun to do it myself. To be fair though, they did give me $200 back so they would not have to come back and do it. read more

We needed three large trees trimmed up due to overhang on the sidewalks and driveway. We also needed two crape myrtles trimmed due to growing onto the house. Late one night, I was able to request a quote through yelp. A's tree service was the first to respond the very next morning and was at our house within a few hours to give a reasonable quote to take care of all of our tree issues. I have a very bad experience, I would not recommend them. After reading these reviews, I asked them to give a quote to trim and trees and some gravel work in the front yard. Humberto came March 27, and immediately gave a verbal quote. I have texted him with a written synopsis of all the work discussed, and requested a written confirmation. No response for 2 months. June 1, I texted again for the written confirmation, he texted back with the agreed price, including bringing the Bermuda grass and gravel, and will start the Saturday June 2. They came early, and then decided a lot of areas are not being discussed, despite the written page I sent them via text in March. After re negotiation, I decided to pay them more, and cut out an area of work, just so we can get it done. Same day, after 3 pm when they had not come back to work, I had to call them, and they decided it was too late to come back. Today is June 23, after repeated calls to find out why they still have not shown up as agreed to do the job, there is still no reply. Every call I have made, there are excuses, truck broke down, or I have to get too many people in one day to get the job done... The fact of the matter is: 3 months after the initial verbal quote was given, the job has not commenced. They do not even have the courtesy to call and let you know why they don't show up or coordinate for another time. If the company is that unreliable before the job starts, how can they be relied upon to honor their work? read more

Overall they did a good job and nearly half the price the other companies quoted. They have a quick response time and could do it the next day. I needed to remove a pecan tree that was a few feet away from the house and hanging over to the neighbor's roof. I was worried about possible damages when they were cutting it down, but they good job with the cutting. They did crack one of the stone tiles near the tree, but I was already expecting that to happen and I didn't really care about it. With the amount of money I saved, I could buy many more! read more

I can definitely recommend this company. I had two large trees awkwardly close to my house. I wanted the larger of the two trees removed out of concern for my foundations and my roof. The other was in poor condition and needed to be either removed or pruned.
