    Vanilla bean latte
    Emmeline W.

This is way less efficient than a human making coffee LMAO. 15 mins for a very average latte. The novelty is interesting until your robot gets stuck because it ran out of ingredients, then you have to wait for an unenthusiastic employee to half-heartedly refill its supply. This Artly is in the Stonestown Galleria food court. Apparently it's a chain. We were looking for a midday pick-me-up and saw "coffee" on the sign, waited in line only to realize that the person behind the counter was just supervising the two robots making our coffee, not actually making it herself. Big unobservant moment on our part -_- Once you place your order on the kiosk, your name appears on a larger screen indicating your assigned robot and place in line. VANILLA BEAN LATTE: Robot-made latte art is about as good as human-made. It's fine. Not much vanilla flavor. Almost tastes burnt? It's cool to see the tech in action (wow robot voices!!! moving pieces!!!) and I imagine it improves consistency-- but overall it's just a gimmick and I hope it doesn't take away cafe locations that could go towards mom and pop coffee shops... Also, our robot, Jarvis, got stuck with an order at some point because it was out of precisely 104.4 grams of milk. It froze and kept repeating this over and over until the staff came over and replenished their oat milk tank or whatever. With only two robots, I guess the wait is worth it if you're recording the entire process?

I would make a serious statement and say that seeing a robot do a barista job is something beyond compare. Therefore I was a bit creeped out by it. The wait was prolonged because of the mechanics of the machine making drinks.

The kids got fascinated to try the coffee because of the robot. They had fun ordering and the latte I got was great'! They had a sign that confused a lot of people and annoyed a few. Sign says to download app to get a drink for $1. The promo has ended and they just forgot to take it off.

Quick Summary - Ordering is done through a kiosk - Text message sends when the coffee is being prepared and when it's complete - Entertaining and fascinating to see the robot make coffee - Coffee is not sour This robot coffee machine wasn't there the last time I visited Stonestown. I have tried Artly in the Dublin branch, and I recall it being a positive experience, so I decided to try it again here. There is a staff aiding the robot and explaining how to order to new guests, but the star barista is the robot hand. The staff told me that the robot can make latte art, and I would need to try this out next time. This time, I wasn't able to because I was not feeling like drinking hot coffee. I wanted to cool myself down; the mall felt warm that day. i got two different iced coffees: one is a regular iced latte and the other was the iced snow latte. For the snow latte, the robot pours a viscous cream over the surface. Tasting it, it resembled a creama. This tasted pretty good with the iced latte, and I needed some salt intake, so this creama helped. I'm happy that a new coffee place opened on the upper floor of the food court, so that after I eat something I can finish the meal with a cup of coffee.

Didn't get their coffee but the machines making them looked cool. Got their tong Sui coconut instead and it was delicious I prefer it without the coconut flakes

A robot pouring latte art and filling iced cups with matcha? Sounds groundbreaking, but in this day and age robots doing anything are typical. We ordered the extra hot Honey Rose Latte with Oat Milk and Rose Strawberry Yuzu Refresher! While it was cool seeing Jarvis twisting and turning, the result is just like any other Starbucks, coffee shop you'll either be happy with what you've ordered and received, or disappointed at expectations vs. reality. I would recommend ordering their hot drinks as it's evident their cold drinks are 90% ice. No human or robot is perfect when making a drink however if you're in a pinch, am parched, and want a drink for $1 (for first time App users), head upstairs to Artly!

$1 for your first drink if you download their Artly Coffee app! I thought it was a great marketing move and it definitely got me to try their coffee. They have other coupons on the app you can use too, such as 50% off or 30% off your drink. You can order on their tablets or on your phone. They have iced and hot options along with decaf as well. This location has two robots working and making drinks. When I was there waiting I noticed an actual staff member dealing with dessert purchases and answering questions about the experience. The only food items they sell are malasadas by Ocean Malasadas and macarons by chef Alex Trouan as of now. I ordered a decaf vanilla latte and was impressed with the latte art for my drink! The robot did a great job with the foam. I didn't take a picture but I totally should've. They even talk briefly to you/ customers before your drink is finished. Then they say your name out loud and let you know that the drink is ready to be picked up. There's also a screen to show which drinks are on the queue, in process, and the estimated time. If there's no long wait I'd definitely come back and grab a drink! I'd love to purchase a malasada as well since they're the perfect pairing with coffee. I miss Starbucks but this is cool too- no complaints here.

Coffee (Americano) was good ($3.95) and good amount of coffee. It was lots of fun watching the robot get it for me. You order at a computer, your name shows up in lights on the counter where it will be placed, and an announcement is made when it's ready for pick up! Fun!!

Neat experience to get your coffee/drink made by a robot! It's located on the top floor in the food court section of Stonetown mall. You can order on the kiosk or on the app. Definitely download the app since the first month you have the app you can use a ton of coupons, including $1 for your first drink, and a couple more coupons for 50% and 30% off a drink. They roast their own beans in Oakland every two weeks, and my husband who is a coffee snob thought his coffee was great. I had a cappuccino but noticed afterwards the default was 12 oz, and I should I have switched it to 8oz since it was a bit too milky for me- but otherwise the robot frothed the milk quickly and perfectly! We also got the Strawberry Matcha iced tea which was good, they make the strawberry puree and the drink wasn't too sweet (i didn't see an option to customize sweetness on the app- I guess that's too next level for the robot!) There is an attendant there in case something goes wrong.

This replaced the former Starbucks footprint located at the Stonestown food court. It's a robotic barista. It served both hot & iced beverages. Today there were also macarons for sale. There is a human helper. We didn't order macarons to go with our lattes but I'm assuming the helper has to plate them. They've got a sandwich board advertising malasadas by Ocean Malasadas. When I asked about them as I didn't see any, the human helper says it's available Th-Sun only. Today is Tuesday. Hubby & I ordered two oatmilk 8oz lattes. The other size was 12 oz. Choice of milk or oatmilk. Place your order on one of several iPads. Enter your name & mobile #. It'll take 3 minutes to make the lattes. It was fun watching two robots make each one. They talk too. I forget what they said. Sure enough it took 3 minutes. I had planned to order a different type of beverage but it only came in a 12 oz cup. One robot designed a heart on one latte and the other robot designed a flower on the other. The latte tasted fresh. Topped with foam. But I thought $5.45 for an 8 oz latte was high price point.

    Nice macarons!

Revive Coffee? That big vendor in the center of the 1st floor in Stonestown Mall serves chai latte that tastes just like the regular in Starbucks. Perhaps going up the escalator and into the food court, one can find another big vendor that serves more than just coffee/tea. Behold! The barista bot in the future of brewed beverages, Artly Coffee! Used to see one in Market St near the Montgomery Subway Station in the Financial District until there had been some changes. Remodeled after Starbucks, the barista bot makes impeccable drinks depending on how these mechanical hands were created to last. These bots never stir drink contents; they whirl. Plus, they say your name before they begin the mixture. My Matcha Yuzu Lemonade is less sweet, less tart, and less bitter, but it's perfectly refreshing. Things are starting to get interesting when it comes to machines that do the work for us. First Kura Revolving Sushi, then Creator Burger, and now Artly Coffee. But we humans mustn't rely too much on AI. If that happens in the near future, then we're left fighting for the human touch. The mechanical hands of Artly Coffee that do the work for us is second to none.

Pretty unique and novel experience. With the robot making your drink in front of you, so it's pretty transparent of what they use and put in your drink. But I wouldn't necessarily trust this if you have any allergies or anything. First drink is $1 if you download the app (Artly Coffee) and make an account, but there are also many additional coupons they are offering! I got the Honey Rose Strawberry Yuzu Refresher. Light and refreshing, but the robot couldn't stir or shake the drink so the syrup was on the bottom and there were no stir sticks available.

Definitely a cool way to get your coffee! It's pretty fun watching the robot do it's thing although it's pretty straightforward to make a latte. I think it would be cool if it added some little tricks or moves. My favorite part is when they add your name digitally to the pick up area. The honey rose latte was pretty smooth and flavorful; it's about average price if not a bit more compared to other places that have lattes. Otherwise, I wouldn't mind stopping by when I'm in the mall for a little pick me up. You can order through their app or in store tablet. First few orders through the app have discounts!

Cool idea. Coffee just wasn't very good. There was no line and the robot was quick enough. Fun to try once but I'll go elsewhere next time.

Kinda dark... I was surprised to see only one employee at the front taking orders and calling them out. (Who looked like she didn't want to be there at all) We ordered 5 drinks and waited at least 20 mins. There isn't a whole lot of waiting room and the half table attached to the wall next to the straw box felt flimsy- y'all might want to check on that before it falls off on someone. When the drinks were finally ready, she pushed the drinks closer to me and handed me two bags with cupholders inside for me to pack. We also have to grab our own straws and napkins on the side which caused some chaos with other patrons. At the Westlake location, you can see an entire team working together and hustling all day. They work fast, work together and hand out drink orders in bags with straws and smiles. Thankfully the drinks tasted consistent, but I'll be ordering from Westlake from now on. Pro tip- download the app and pick up later. You can also earn points to redeem for discounts and freebies on the app.
