If you're debating on coming here I highly recommend you give them a chance. Some of these reviews are so bizarre and far from my experience today! -The people working were very friendly and seemed happy to be working. They asked if all was good etc! -The wait was nothing crazy. The coffee came out within a couple of mins as to be expected and considering the food is all fresh it came out within a reasonable amount of time. If you're in a rush don't come here or order ahead. This isn't frozen or ready made food. It was very delicious! We had the tacos and bowls and wowwww yum! Very good size for the price. 15/10 -the inside is soo cute and cozy! There was a group doing art trading cards and it was very community oriented. - the bathroom is huge with lots of space for someone with a wheelchair. Would love to see a changing table added. -my fiance loved his iced coffee with milk and sugar. My latte was not very strong for my taste, I would suggest increasing the amount of espresso or maybe experimenting with different beans! 6/10 for the coffee. Really great spot. My matcha latte' was just okay. I am curious to try one of their locally made kombuchas from Black Cat kombucha. This is a small local business and a total hidden gem! This interior looks like its straight out of a boutique magazine. Soft colors, fun seating and beautiful light fixtures. I am always on the hunt for great Avocado toast and this one was supreme. The toast was warm and buttered, the seasoning on the Avocado was tasty and topped off with quest fresco and cilantro was the right amount of flavor! I go here after the gym almost EVERY Saturday. I always forget to get a picture because its sooo good and I am so excited to devour it! This seems like a new and upcoming cafe. The theme is "art" to put it simply. They have a very cool space here in Springfield, showcasing artistic vibes and homages to infamous artists. The cafe is decorated with local art and re-prints from familiar artists like Van Gogh, Picasso, and Dali. The best part is you can participate in some coloring as they have plenty of print outs ready for you to color using their collection of color pencils. They set up the space to be very cozy yet eclectic. They have ample seating, whether at a high top, regular table, and/or on a cozy couch. They also have a lot to park in right next to the building or you can opt for on-street parking along Main St. As far as the coffee, unfortunately there is work to be done. I was not impressed with the latte, especially given the price I paid for 2 coffees and 2 sandwiches, nearly $40+ The coffee was watery and easily forgettable, which is very unfortunate. The food was much more impressionable. My keto wrap had turkey, lettuce, tomato, and guacamole. I did not love the guacamole, it was brownish in color and the taste was not great. My husband enjoyed his salmon bagel, his favorite part was the chips on the side - he said they were very tasty. They had a few items in the bakery case such as cookies and muffins so if I come back I may just opt for a sweet treat. What a great place to visit! Lovely food, my daughter had the goya with chicken. It was so refreshing tasting. I went with something less adventurous a bagel with egg, cheese and bacon. The peopered chips were a delightful add on. You will simply be blown away by the art work every where and you are invited to do your own artwork while you wait and converse. Artessence is a spa and oasis right in the middle of Springfield. Truly a transformative experience. I'm so glad we found this place. The staff is friendly and service was impeccable. They offer a full menu and I know we'll be trying more, but we stopped by today for coffee and dessert. I had the Samuel's Coffee. It is a double expresso with milk of your choice and honey. Bold and soothing at the same time. We also tried the Coconut cake. Amazing-moist, light sweet, just the perfect hint of coconut. It rivals any cake I've had in Jacksonville. The decor and music make this a place where you could simply stay for hours. They provide colored pencils and actually invite you to color. I did. It was like dessert therapy. On the way out, I discussed not only returning, but making this a weekly stop. This is not just a great place to eat. You could walk out truly refreshed as well. The owners were just has friendly and helpful with ordering as the first time I came. My sister ordered a caramel frappe and swore out she'd never had a frappe with as much caramel and when you mixed with the coffee the blend was perfect. I got the Keto breakfast and it was so savory. Horrible service. My family and I waited in line for over 25 minutes with 2 people in front of us just to order. When we finally went to order they said it would be another 20 minutes for food. Great little coffee and breakfast shop. This place is family run and serves authentic Colombian coffee as well as several others. Try the Keele coffee. It's made with condensed milk and it's amazing. The menu has nice offerings for breakfast, brunch or even lunch. Try their keto eggs plate! Delicious and very Keto friendly. Due to their error in our order, the wait was super long. Once we received the lattes, they tasted like gas station coffee. The breakfast sandwiches were pretty terrible as well. They did remake my husband's latte, but it was still undrinkable as it was so bitter. Unfortunately, we won't be back and can't recommend this cafe. read more
