This is a small local business and a total hidden gem! This interior looks like its straight out of a boutique magazine. Soft colors, fun seating and beautiful light fixtures. I am always on the hunt for great Avocado toast and this one was supreme. The toast was warm and buttered, the seasoning on the Avocado was tasty and topped off with quest fresco and cilantro was the right amount of flavor! The gentleman who owns this location was so informative and gave us great customer service. I will definitely be back to try their coffee and this toast will be on my regular rotation!

I go here after the gym almost EVERY Saturday. I always forget to get a picture because its sooo good and I am so excited to devour it! BUT I FINALLY got a little pic (ot before tasting it lol) to post. When I tell you this little shop has the best avocado toast I've ever had! With a small menu they fresh make their breakfast selections and it is worth the wait. The staff always remembers us, and has a smile on no matter how busy it gets. And do NOT sleep on the breakfast tacos... AMAZING!!

Kind of a hidden gem. The Mexican style is unique. I got an iced Americana and it was balanced, not acidic like other places. Their food options are amazing, but I didn't order any.

Art Essence Coffee Shop has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere! The strawberry matcha was delicious, the service was friendly, and the creative vibe made it a great place to relax. Definitely a spot I'll be visiting again.

This seems like a new and upcoming cafe. The theme is "art" to put it simply. They have a very cool space here in Springfield, showcasing artistic vibes and homages to infamous artists. The cafe is decorated with local art and re-prints from familiar artists like Van Gogh, Picasso, and Dali. The best part is you can participate in some coloring as they have plenty of print outs ready for you to color using their collection of color pencils. They set up the space to be very cozy yet eclectic. They have ample seating, whether at a high top, regular table, and/or on a cozy couch. They also have a lot to park in right next to the building or you can opt for on-street parking along Main St. As far as the coffee, unfortunately there is work to be done. I was not impressed with the latte, especially given the price I paid for 2 coffees and 2 sandwiches, nearly $40+ The coffee was watery and easily forgettable, which is very unfortunate. The food was much more impressionable. My keto wrap had turkey, lettuce, tomato, and guacamole. I did not love the guacamole, it was brownish in color and the taste was not great. My husband enjoyed his salmon bagel, his favorite part was the chips on the side - he said they were very tasty. They had a few items in the bakery case such as cookies and muffins so if I come back I may just opt for a sweet treat. It seems this place is still finding its footing so hopefully things improve.

What a great place to visit! Lovely food, my daughter had the goya with chicken. It was so refreshing tasting. I went with something less adventurous a bagel with egg, cheese and bacon. The peopered chips were a delightful add on. You will simply be blown away by the art work every where and you are invited to do your own artwork while you wait and converse. The service was so kind and thoughtful! This is going to become a new standard for me!

Situated on Main Street in historic Springfield in Jacksonville, this coffee shop offers a relaxing ambience, great coffee selections, and their authentic fresh tacos with real fresh ingredients are delicious. Truly a hidden gem here in Jacksonville. Servers are attentive and kind.

Update: Owners Reply is False Information. I do not have any friends that own any establishments. I did not say any words to you either as my wife placed the order. Moreover, my profile picture has been the same and has remained the same for over a year now. Yelpers can verify this by clicking on my picture and on the bottom left it says "over a year ago." AND I've uploaded proof of purchase. You have been caught in your lie.

Artessence is a spa and oasis right in the middle of Springfield. Truly a transformative experience. I'm so glad we found this place. The staff is friendly and service was impeccable. They offer a full menu and I know we'll be trying more, but we stopped by today for coffee and dessert. I had the Samuel's Coffee. It is a double expresso with milk of your choice and honey. Bold and soothing at the same time. We also tried the Coconut cake. Amazing-moist, light sweet, just the perfect hint of coconut. It rivals any cake I've had in Jacksonville. The decor and music make this a place where you could simply stay for hours. They provide colored pencils and actually invite you to color. I did. It was like dessert therapy. On the way out, I discussed not only returning, but making this a weekly stop. This is not just a great place to eat. You could walk out truly refreshed as well. Highly recommend you give them a try.

Super cute spot! Artsy! Great place to chill, chat with a friend, or do some work. Great location and lots of options. Staff is super friendly!

Fantastically relaxing inside with great soothing music and coloring pages to relax. Had a yummy hot mocha coffee and a bite of the deliciously decadent coconut cake. Wow, the coffee was perfect, not too sweet and the cake was over the top delicious. The cake was moist and spongy. The icing was thick, sweet and complimented the cake perfectly. Service was warm and welcoming from arrival to departure. A couple of table options outside and different seating options inside including couches, soft chairs, and typical high tables. So many other options to return to enjoy, a real gem In Springfield.

This Hidden Gem of a Coffee Cafe is no doubt one of my favorite places to Chill after a long Week thanks to the environment they have created or just for a Mid Week Lunch Spot with their delicious food menu, fresh coffee & other refreshing drinks. Diana & Jonathan are 2 of the Best, Kind Hearted People You will ever Meet and You will know exactly what I mean once you come to the Shop for coffee, breakfast, lunch or all 3! They Deserve The Community's Support More than Ever with So Many Local Small Businesses closing their doors. Look for the Big Rich Sticker and Let them Know Big Rich Sent Ya and spread the word about this Place!!

The owners were just has friendly and helpful with ordering as the first time I came. My sister ordered a caramel frappe and swore out she'd never had a frappe with as much caramel and when you mixed with the coffee the blend was perfect. I got the Keto breakfast and it was so savory. It starts with sausage, cheese, egg and bacon top's it off! My coffee was perfect and I love they ask how many sugars and creamers and mix it before bringing it to the table. I'm not one to color but my sister loved the coloring page they provided and actually needed to use the pencil sharpener!

Man, it was one of the best decisions I've made on the road lately! The food came out hot and fresh with that real homemade taste. The tacos were packed with flavor, the rice and beans were on point, and the portions were generous enough to fill up a hungry driver without breaking the bank. I went with the carne asada and it hit the spot perfectly - seasoned just right, not too greasy, and cooked tender. Service was quick and friendly, even when they were busy. The place has that classic hole-in-the-wall vibe (in the best way), nothing fancy but clean and welcoming. It felt like the kind of authentic spot locals would keep coming back to. Only reason it's not 5 stars is the parking can be a little tight for a big rig if you're not careful, and they don't have a ton of truck-friendly seating space. But the food more than makes up for it. If you're rolling through the area and craving real Mexican food, definitely stop in. I'll be back next time I'm in the neighborhood. ¡Muy bueno! -- Carlos, SemiTruckDriver

Like I don't know if it wasn't mixed well, or they heavy handed it, but I wasn't mad about it at all. The steak tacos were delicious and very flavorful. I'd get these again and again in heartbeat. Service at the bar was great. Food arrived faster than expected, but I had also got there as their night was winding down. My friends and I were originally going to eat here for Cinco de Mayo, but when I got there at 6:45, I was told it would be a 3.5 hour wait. They had a DJ outside pumping out fast and upbeat music for the party and an outside margarita stand for grab and go drinks. When I arrived back just after 9, I had told them to take us off the list. She informed me that they tried calling me. Nothing came through on my phone, but she did show her call log and sure enough, it showed they called me around 8:20. My friends and I probably would have stayed to eat here originally had we been given a more realistic wait time guesstimate. An hour and a half wait vs 3.5 hours is much more feasible. Oh well. I'm sure I'll be back in the future. I've always enjoyed Anejo.

I ordered the Shrimp Tacos (corn tortillas, lettuce, breaded fried shrimp, chipotle mayo, and cilantro) minus pico & they were great. The shrimp were freshly fried and steaming hot. The floors were sticky and our shoes stuck to the floor. The women's restroom was out of order. The kiosks seem like a good idea but nobody there to ask questions or to get your drinks. If you can catch one of the two people working as they bring out orders you are lucky. The menus on the kiosks are pretty informative though and tell the ingredients for each item. Kiosk automatically adds 20% tip unless you change it. Considering you don't have any interaction with employees until they bring out your order other tipping options might apply. They cook to order which is nice except you don't get your drinks or your appetizers until it's your turn. There is a comment section to type no tomatoes or special instructions. Mine still came out with tomatoes but they promptly remade it for me. The food is pretty good. No complaints there other than having to remake one of my tacos. The chips and queso was pretty good. Chips were dusted with spices and served hot. We tried 6 different tacos and they were all very good. The tortillas were toasted on the grill which makes a big difference. You can get flour or corn tortillas. The chicken and steak were marinated before grilling and were big cubes and plentiful. The menu has a pretty big variety including a kids menu with chicken and fries. The last comment is their fountain machine for drinks. The coke tasted off. They may need to recalibrate it. Drinks are served in small clear throw away cups and the lids don't fit very well. Refills are hard to get. You have to wait for someone to come out of the back. If these small complaints don't bother you the food is very good.
