We have a maintenance contract with ARS. We have been scheduled three times for a technician to come out and two out of the three have been cancelled last minute. The third was scheduled for today and a technician has yet to show up. They harass us with phone calls to schedule and harass us with text message reminders of the appointment and then they don't show. At one point when I asked how will they service the unit in the dark, they told me they have plenty of light and the technicians want to get paid so they will show up. Shortly after they cancelled the appointment. They're excuse is that they have a high volume of service calls. When you call to check on your appointment they tell you someone will call you back with an ETA and no one calls. Very poor customer service. They do not care about their customers. read more

Please stay away from this company service. They are fraud for overcharging customers. For only changing water panel they charged me a 190$ which should cost 30$. The inspectors name is Amjad Butt. So disappointed. Will definitely report them to a right place. read more

husband signed up for promotional evaluation for our 20 system. I no idea scheduled for the next day. The technician came out stating we need a whole new system as our system is at least 20 years old, and we already knew this. Try a high-pitched Sayles approach trying to sell us the most expensive equipment and talk to me like I didn't know anything I was really annoyed one point he stated like we didn't have any other choice. At this point, I told him I have many choices. There are many AC heating . Told him we had choice warranty had call them and ask how much they would pay for after . He stated that he was real familiar with these warranty so he should've known that they were not gonna cover anything towards using them because they are not in network. So our system had been working up into that point but since he left, it's not working at all. I am very suspicious. I called him and he said all he did was I don't really believe it. read more

Worst customer service I ever encountered. Hvac condensing after installation. Called them to get it repaired as an emergency, they told us a technician was coming between 6 to 9 pm. Technician never arrived and moved us for next day to be the first ones served. I missed work to be here for when the technician said it was going to come between 8 to 12. The technician never arrived. We called them again and they were giving us missed messages from: we are the next one on the line, the technician is around the corner, to we are busy and have people ahead of you. Most unreliable and unprofessional company I have encountered. read more

I was torn on selecting the overall rating. If rating only the technicians (several have stopped by over the years), I would rate '4-star'; however, I cannot overlook the abysmal service their managers consistently provide. Just for one service issue, in which the receptionist couldn't handle, they promised me on six separate occasions, over a span of three days, that a manager (or in one case, their parts department) would call me back the same day. Despite my repeated reminders, not a single person followed up with the promised call--thereby leaving me hanging each time. This is unacceptable customer service. And, this was not the first time (by far) that this has happened. read more

I got a brand new system end of August...I am on my 4th technician and 7th appointment in 2.5 months. I've been without heat for 3-days and my temperature is in the 50's. there's been no solution just long appointment windows that the technicians don't follow and thousands of dollars you're spending for crappy equipment. read more

When Nick arrived, my AC unit was off due to the pleasant weather. He asked for permission to turn it on to conduct the inspection, which I granted, and he assured me he would turn it off before leaving. During the service, Nick identified a melted disconnect box in the attic and some bacterial growth. He quoted me $688 for a disconnect box replacement and an additional $1799 for an air scrubber, suggesting I could finance the total cost through a Lowe's account. Unfortunately, Nick left without turning off my AC unit as promised. Subsequently, I filed a claim with my home warranty company and only paid a $75 service fee to have the disconnect box replaced, which the electrician informed me was only a $20 part. The electrician was also quite concerned to find that I had not been advised to turn off the breaker to the AC unit, as there were two inches of exposed wire, posing a significant fire hazard in my home. While I appreciate Nick's customer service, the failure to turn off the AC unit and the lack of guidance regarding the exposed wiring are concerning. I looked up air scrubber cost online and they cost about $600 for a high end one. Please do you resource before making an impulse decision. read more

If you are a senior citizen, please be aware. My parents purchased a new furnace with them in Sept 2023 and they sold them an expensive "10 year parts and labor warranty" telling them they won't need to worry about repair costs again. This wed the service technician came to do the fall inspection and wants to charge them $387 to clean the flame sensor. My parents reached out to me for help. After speaking with the service technician, he recommends that we get their service membership of $240 and the cleaning would be covered. I called ARS back and have been getting the run around. Long story short, we are stuck with ARS for their 10 years parts and warranty. I next sent my trusted FH Furr technician go out to my parents house to do another inpection $89 (which came with the Flame Sensor cleaning). He found issues that the ARS technician had missed 1) water leaking that was "fixed" by ARS which was not and should be covered under parts and warranty. So I will need to call ARS back to fix that. 2) Carbon monoxide level is elevated when the furnance closet door is closed. He said the door should be changed to louver doors. Just do yourselves a favor and go with FH Furr (I have used them for years and they are very thorough). read more

The customer service is awful, really. They gave me an appointment window of 12-4pm. The tech didn't get here until 8 pm or later. Waited all day. I had to call THEM for updates! Absolutely terrible experience from the start. Their customer service cancelled my appointment without telling me then gaslight me saying I called and called it. Their technicians were about 4 hours late (I can understand stuff happens). The parts required took 5 weeks to arrive, the technician instead of replacing the entire board replaced a fuse and left charging me full price. Their management NEVER called me back after asking multiple times. Usually I never post reviews but my AC just died again (same error) and now my experience will live for however long Yelp.com is online. read more

Extremely disappointed in ARS 'service.' ARS installed the upstairs and downstairs systems in my newly constructed home in 2015. ARS serviced the systems for years so when it came time to replace them, I engaged the services of ARS do so. I learned later that I had top-of-the line Carrier Infinity series (variable speed and fully communicating) systems. ARS replaced the downstairs system in June 2024 with the Performance series without recommending or even discussing comparable options or discussing the downgrade from the Infinity systems. ARS replaced my upstairs system in January 2025. Again, ARS did not discuss with me or recommend any system other than the Performance series. ARS also failed to discuss with me or even mention the major change in refrigerant in 2025 or give me the option of going with the new R455B system. In mid-June 2025 we started noticing that the upstairs unit could not hold the temperature or cool properly. After numerous calls to ARS and after filing a lawsuit, ARS came out and replaced a bad TXV value and coil. But this did not resolve the issue. As it turns out the upstairs Performance system is not able to maintain temperature in my home if it's above 85 degrees outside. ARS should have recommended and installed the Carrier Infinity series. I tried for weeks to get a manager on the phone to discuss these issues. The one time I spoke with the manager at the Manassa, VA office, Robert Alexander, he accused me of having said or done things to his employees that were not true. It was one of the rudest and most obnoxious telephone conversations I've ever had. I told him he apparently had me confused with another one of their dissatisfied customers, that I was not going to engage with him further, and advised that he could call me back once he had a better grasp pf the facts. He called me back and agreed to send out a long-time, highly skilled ARS tech named Mike. Mike has been very pleasant to work with and appears to be genuinely interested in trying to resolve my issues. However, it is clear that he is hamstrung by ineffective and unsupportive management at the Manassas office. In reviewing my system components, I discovered that ARS installed an Infinity furnace in January 2025 with Performance system components. While these I believe are technically matched, I'm not getting the benefits of the Infinity communicating system. I also discovered that the furnace ARS installed in January 2025 was actually manufactured in February 2023. I suspect ARS was looking to unload its old, R410 system/parts. I asked ARS to replace the outside unit, furnace, and coil with the R454B Infinity series they should have recommended and installed in the first place. I offered to pay a reasonable amount as the Infinity is more expensive than the Performance series. ARS refused to replace the furnace, quoted an unreasonable price, refused to provide the part numbers of the proposed coil and outdoor unit (I suspect because there would be an AHRI certificate match issue), and refused to discuss with me whether there is a fire/leak detection system on the proposed parts. ARS quality control managers do not return calls, do not provide their direct contact information (phone or email), and are not effective in resolving issues. Customers can only speak with phone agents/schedulers who put you on hold while they feign attempts to get a manager on the phone. The agents take messages and advise a manager/supervisor will call you back. I've left dozens of messages with ARS representatives and received one return call from a quality control agent named Justin. ARS has a 100% moneyback guarantee but do not stand by their pledge. ARS is ghosting me. I have now had to engage counsel to resolve my issues. I would not recommend ARS to anyone. read more

a dehumidifier was installed by ARS through our home builder Ryan homes. they were contracted with them for several years but are no longer doing business with them and I can see why. The dehumidifier stop working and has an error message so we wanted to double check if it was still under warranty &to get it serviced. Our warranty manager at Ryan homes called them on 4/16 to have them call me back w/ the information needed. I did not receive a call back so I followed up 4/18 at 11:24 am and 4/22 2:18 pm. They said it takes 24-48 hours to receive a call back. Again, no call back so I followed up once again 4/26 and at this point I just decided I will pay out of pocket for the visit and continue to wait to hear about warranty. I spoke to Hanna she gave the same speech about how she will send another email and make it urgent and mention how long I've been waiting and how I've called several times. She made a service appointment for me for that evening between the 6-9 pm window. No one came so i called at 9:03 pm and spoke to Jeremy. He said he will send a note to Dispatch and they should get back to me in 30 minutes to let me know what happened and the status. I waited... again no one called all night. See the pattern? 4/27 the following morning I called 7:58 am and spoke to Devon and asked for a Manager. He puts me on hold for 15 minutes and didn't get back to me. I call back and now get Ashley at 8:12 am she said the manager comes in at 9:00 am and she will send an urgent message and I should expect a call. 12:24 pm I call since of course I didn't receive a call and I speak to Chris . He says there is no manager on duty today but he will send an email. He rebooks my appointment. Initially all availability was available but I went with the next evening. Ultimately we thought it was better to just have them come the same day so I call back at 12:46 pm speak to Yani she said she can't change the appointment cause my account is on hold, she does not know why so she will send an email. I call back at 1:08 pm and speak to Tammy who says she can see her manager is working today, there is an active on her account. Her manager's name is Patty, she puts me on hold and speaks to Patty and she tells me Patty said she's on the phone with a client so will call me back. 4:12 pm rolls by, I call back because I highly doubt that call took 3 hours. Nina picks up and she again talks to Patty and they reassured me that they will have someone come that evening 6pm slot. Of course another no show no call. So this morning I receive a random text message that I now have an appointment for this morning between 8-12 pm. I call and speak to Satari to try to get some clarification since this particular appointment I did not request and I will not be available. She said she does not see the this appointment in the system. I get a call at 9:59 am from Roger, he says he is on his way. I tell him that I did not request this appt and he says he will let the office know, I mentioned that I already called them right when I received the text and they reassured me I didn't have an appt scheduled for this time slot. 12 calls later, I have not received one call back when they said they would and no showed twice but come and call when they aren't suppose to? They obviously have no consideration for the time and effort of their customers. I couldn't even get a call back to check on warranty which shows they only care about taking money but not following through. It has been beyond frustration and time consuming. Basically two weeks has passed since the initial call. They have a decent amount of one star reviews and I completely understand why. I think they are better off just shutting down instead of letting their customers or potential customers go on a constant wild goose chase. NEGATIVE STARS for reliability and follow through, HOURS wasted waiting for them and I have been very patient but at this point, this is absolutely ridiculous. Unless you have all the free time to just wait around to see if they will randomly pop up at their own accord, I highly suggest, especially if you do not have to go with them to just go with any other business that will actually appreciate you as a customer and won't give you the run around read more

Here we go again! System coils leaking refrigerant were repaired less than a month ago and yet the system failed again!!! This is will be the third time a brand new carrier system from ARS has failed since it was installed less than 3 months ago. These people and their products are a complete disaster! UPDATE DAY 2: Called emergency service last night. Was told someone would come between 8am and noon. Nobody called or showed up all day. Had to call again tonight to schedule someone to come out again tomorrow 8am and noon. Turned the system off last night to defrost. Turned on again today and iced up again already. Absolutely ridiculous how bad the Carrier product is and the service from ARS is the absolute worst I have seen in my entire life in any setting. read more

Set a scheduled appointment for 8 - 12. Got a call at 11:46 saying the wouldn't make it due to other emergency appointments.

I have had nothing but problems with ARS Rescue Rooter. i paid for a new central AC from them and the unit they installed has never worked properly. The customer service is sub par. Every time the unit brakes down it's a new opportunity for them to make money out of me. I have asked for it to be replaced but they refused. The unit is leaking again and they want to charge me $4000 to fix their defective unit. I would never recommend anyone buy nothing from them. I wish I had seen their terrible reviews before I give them my $7000. No Manager calls back even when you have problems. Don't waster your money dealing with them. NEVER!!! read more

Edit: the "call me" response that the business made to this review accomplished nothing. After weeks of hearing "we'll get back to you," we have still heard nothing from QA. I stand by my review: AVOID THIS PLACE! And for those who might think I'm exaggerating, attached is the itemized charges to us (the ~5% discount was a military discount), again, after quoting us $188 on the phone before coming, and with no "surprises" beyond regular drain snaking upon arrival. Called and was quoted $188 for a standard main line clearing on the phone. Then they never came during the 7 hour window they gave us. We had to wait until the next afternoon for them to finally show. Final charge? $1400 (after a military discount) for TWO HOURS of work to remove toilet and snake main line, then a smaller snake of the shower. They charged based on number of drain snakes and time. We caught him taking a break on our time, smoking in his car, "talking on the phone about another job." HORRIFICALLY overpriced for such a straightforward job. He was kind and helpful enough, but so would I if I was scamming my customers like a bandit. Under no circumstances should you ever go with this company. read more

Stay away from this company! Especially don't fall for the $9or $19 system check & maintenance special at Lowe's like I did. It's just a scam to get you to buy a new unit. The service guy comes in and tells you the unit is leaking meaning carbon monoxide is slowing seeping out (showing bogus pics, could be any random pics). Then he says the reading on the DDM is too high. Meaning my 8 year old unit is working to hard & recommending the unit should be replaced. He calls the sales people to set up a quote appt and they say they'll be there in between 6pm-8pm (all in the same evening). When I said it's a little late they tell me I'll lose the $1000 discount. I agree to the appt. I called back at 5:30 to cancel the appt & would reschedule. The customer service phone rep said ok I'll schedule you for tomorrow morning. I said no, I'll call at another time to reschedule. She proceeds to tell me she will schedule because she doesn't want me to lose my spot because the appts fill up quickl and I could cancel when they call in the morning. I said, what spot? I don't want to be on the schedule yet. And I'm cancelling now. So don't set up any appt. She continues to insist on setting up the next day appt. I said excuse me, I'll don't want an appt. She tells me that bogus reason to save my spot. I said, I don't understand, why are you still setting up an appt. She says in annoyed voice & insults me by asking, ma'am do you know what tentative means? I said, oh please don't treat me like I'm stupid! Do not set up an appointment for me period and I hang up. The next day the manager calls to apologize for my experience with the rep. I can set up that appt for the sales rep to come out to give you a quote. I said, yeah no thanks. I'm not going to work with you. I'll call the original company that installed the unit to have it properly checked. I should've done that in the 1st place. That was a week ago. Today, the original company came to check my 8 year old system and said everything looked good and was running fine. The capacitor will probably need to be replaced anytime between now and 2 years. ARS are a bunch of scammers! I'm letting everyone know to stay away from there Bait & Switch tactics. I'm going to report them to the BBB. read more

Response to Customer Service. There is nothing to discuss. When a customer asks you politely to cancel and stop calling them, you do just that. Instead you thought it would somehow bring in more customers by harassing them and calling them 8 times in 1 day and now you've pissed me off. Your copy and paste response shows just how NOT COMMITTED you are "to meeting your expectations." If Marisa had any common sense as a "Quality Assurance Manager" you would see the numerous complaints about harassment just on Yelp, and remedy that situation instead of hitting copy paste to the massive amount of negative reviews you guys have to seem as if you are attempting to remedy the problems. Simply put, my expectation was that I no longer receive calls from you and you DID NOT meet those expectations. Quick little consumer note - had you not blew up my phone in the coming days after I cancelled my appointment, I would have considered using you for any future issues I might have had just based on how friendly Jackson was at Home Depot. Great service from ARS of Manassas. We had trouble with our system, and they were able to send someone over the same day. Antoine Jones came out and did a great job fixing it for us. He was friendly, and ready to answer any questions I had. He was quick, and on time. He was thorough in explaining what the problem was, and how we could fix the problem for the long term. He came prepared, and we were able to get everything up and running quickly. As well as install a new filter system. Very pleasant person to work with. ProService Plan Elite contract in place and charged every month but the one time I want a pre-season diagnostic service on HVAC units, no one called or showed up for my 10:00am-2:00pm EST appointment. What's worse is I had an appointment scheduled for a later date but ARS called me to reschedule for this earlier date citing openings in their schedule. I modified my schedule to be home for the earlier date. Beginning at 2:30pm EST I called every hour for an update, each respective call center agent confirmed my appointment time in their system, each agent told me the matter was conveyed to "dispatch" and someone would be in touch with me shortly, no one ever called or showed up. Whole Saturday wasted. I am cancelling my service contract contract on Monday. I was not indirect use of their services, but my 80 year old mother was in Fredericksburg. 2 weeks ago, her heat stopped working. Her furnace is 5 years old and was installed by ARS. A surge protector was installed for $500. 5 days later - heat is out again. Mom was first told they'd be there between 8 and 12, then it was 12-4. 4:45 and no one came. Mom called. Guy was 10 minutes away. Guy came and replaced the fuse, and kind of fussed at us because it was dark and he couldn't see outside very well. Really, dude? 2 days later (Thanksgiving morning), heat is out. My husband went over and replaced the fuse and it blew. She called that night for a Friday service appointment. In spite of being told my number had been removed from their system, I continue to get multiple voicemails for me to call them to schedule service, weeks after being told I'm on their do not call list. I would venture to say this is verging on harassment. I've now received more than 25 calls from different agents for this company over the course of about 5-6 weeks, and have asked them about 15+ times to not be called anymore. Even though I have blocked their number, so I no longer get interrupted, they continue to clog up my voicemail with the same message: "This is so-and-so with ARS and we don't mean to be a bother, but......" The response from the company wants me to text them my number and address to them. I did that, and still I'm getting calls. ALSO - the reason I don't want to hire them is because they tried to upsell me a $400 cleaning for my almost new air conditioner. The company I've used instead of them told me no such cleaning was required other than the standard maintenance. **What kind of company calls more than 25 times to solicit business??????** read more

Our upstairs Heat pump stopped working. Contacted ARS/Rescue Rooter they missed 4 or 5 Appointments over the next two days, No calls or anything. It started working a day before a technician arrived. Said it needed cleaning and then looked at the downstairs unit also needed cleaning (2 thousand dollars' worth) and had some other issues. Nine days later it stopped working I found it a strange coincidence. They send another technician Who says since it is an older unit and CAN"T be fixed for under several thousand dollars and needs a new board, capacitor and a cleaning. We should look at a new unit. So, all they do is try to sell me a new unit since we can't get it going. I will NOT be using this company in the future and feel so strongly about it that I felt compelled to warn others.. to go join the many other reviews here. The utter lack of customer service alone is a reason to avoid this place - unless you have a real person in front of you, you are left with contacting them by phone. Any one of these numbers will reach a pleasant person that will then take down your notes and forward it to the department, possibly a manager, possibly marking it as "urgent", and then you wait and hope to get a phone call back. Their policy seems to be 1-2 days to get back to you.. but it's not even that reliable. First of all, I truly regret not getting a second opinion from the get-go. My fault for thinking that Home Depot would use a trustworthy company for their AC tuneup special. The technician that came out and the subsequent salesman did a good job and convinced me that I should get a new furnace (probably also a mistake...). The salesman sold me on a model whose selling point (I later found out), only works with an accompanying new thermostat and outside unit, which I wasn't purchasing. But that's not even my main issue! The installation team damaged a water pipe, but refused to admit it. What they did was point out that I had a small leak during the install. This "small" leak was not small- they had to turn off part of the water so that they could actually install the furnace without flooding the basement. If this has been a pre-existing condition, they wouldn't have been able to install it in the first place and I would have noticed the water when the technician and sales person had come out. After they finished they did not turn that part back on, but did not let me know, so I didn't have hot water or shower access for 3 days or so (I had water though). I had to fight get them to repair what they damaged. Next up , the Home Depot financing situation, which I am still trying to rectify now . The sales person sold me on a model that cost $7300. The very next day I found quote for an equivalent model at about $2000 less. True to the guarantee, the salesperson sent me a new contract to sign with the lower price. I signed and returned it to him, they installed furnace the next day. I signed up for the special 36 month 0% financing special from Home Depot. Three days ago I received the financing account information, I login and the loan amount is the original price. I called the company and they told me to call ARS. So now I've been calling them (back to the customer service black hole ) and getting zero help . The salesperson is MIA. I can only hope my issue is resolved soon because if it is not by the end of the week, my next step is to contact the Better Business Bureau. Do yourself a favor and do not use this company. * Edit- I just called the Quality Assurance Manager phone provided in their response... same result. Just because they are polite when they are robbing you doesn't mean they aren't robbing you! I called ARS at 3 am about what I believed to be a blockage in my NEWLY INSTALLED basement sink drain. I reached the answering service and had a technician out later that day. Everything thing is going well. The technician could not resolve the "blockage" with the small snake but would be able to apply the large snake after installing a cleanout valve. The next day, the original technician was unavailable, but they offered to send another technician out. Great. The cleanout valve was installed, but still no better result with the larger snake. I called the original plumber who installed the connections (admittedly, I should have called before) and was advised that I needed a sink drain pump. The technician said that I shouldn't install the sink drain pump because it may be going into a vent stack (or a stack vent, or whatever, it doesn't matter because it was wrong) and that he needed to cut into the wall of the adjacent finished room to inspect. So, after cutting several holes in the wall, the drain line is exactly where I said it was and needs exactly what the other plumber said it needed (imagine that). I have several holes in my wall, a sink that won't drain, and a bill for services that I didn't need or were ineffective. But here is the insult to injury -- the same sink drain pump that I was cautioned against, that the technician seemed unaware of even existing, that costs $200-400 at Lowe's or from Amazon was quoted at ...$2300 installed. ABSOLUTELY NOT. Buyer beware. AND READING OTHER REVIEWS THERE IS A MILITARY DISCOUNT? It would have been nice to have been told about that. read more

DO NOT USE! Please stay away from this company! They installed a new HVAC last fall and when they did, they drilled through the coil which caused the refrigerant to leak. Our electric bill was hundreds of dollars more for over 6 months and we didn't know why. We did not discover this issue until our AC stopped working 6 months later when our house was 80 degrees during an extremely hot week. They did not come to our house within the 24 hour period they promote and promised. The worst part? They have not reimbursed us for the additional costs we accrued during the months that we did not know it was broken due to their mistake. The customer service staff has been unprofessional and unkind to us. Rather than covering the additional costs of our utility fees, we have asked them to pay a part of it and they refused. They do not respond, they try to go in circles and they do not follow up on their word or warranties about their services. If you want to save yourself from major stress and troubles, AVOID THIS COMPANY. read more

They collected $59 tune up fee and did nothing but consultation sales meeting for a new ac. I blocked them and asked to put me on dnc list but they keep leaving me message like zombie. read more

I can't believe how much I spent to have an 82 degree home in the summer. ARS installed a brand new HVAC system with heat pump/AC this October. They convinced us to upgrade our AC, which was still working great, as it was old and the new system would be more efficient. My old unit could get our home down to 70 or even 69 degrees if I wanted it to. This new unit had my main floor at 82 degrees yesterday. I've had at least 5 technicians come out to address issues with this system since October, all of whom have found something else wrong with it. (They also failed to show up or call for one appointment, and have rescheduled two other appointments.) I've been trying to get a hold of management for 3 weeks to either replace this, have them yet again try to fix it, or have them install a second unit for my upstairs, as they sold me something worse than I already had. They have never called me back! Do not use ARS Manasses. Worst customer service. It's like it's only a call center and techs and no management whatsoever. I can't believe how much I spent to have an 82 degree home in the summer. read more

Bottom line: stay away from this company. They put in a new water heater and had to return a week later because of leaking water due to improper installation. Later, when the house had a pressure issue, I had hundreds of dollars in wall damage because it was found that the water heater drain hadn't been installed properly. Recently, there was a loud humming noise from the hot water pipe coming out of the heater that was vibrating. Over the course of 3 weeks, it took 6 visits from 4 different techs before I gave up on them. Meanwhile, they charged me hundreds for replacing parts that never needed to be replaced. I called another company who had the issue fixed in the first 15 minutes. Their mistakes have cost me over a thousand dollars. I won't make the mistake of calling on them again. read more

I have used ARS's regular check-ups twice a year for about five years, so I knew them as a reliable company. And finally, my 13-year-old AC was diagnosed as no longer functioning on one Monday, which felt like a nightmare at the time. We were putting our condo on the market in two weeks. ARS replaced it for us by Thursday of the same week. David, an ARS technician, came to us and explained everything we needed to know. He increased our confidence by meeting our exact needs specific to our condominium rules, such as the acceptable dimensions of the AC unit and weight. ARS looked very hard for an exact unit that fits our needs, the community rules, and my budget. Personally, the AC replacement was a high-stress event. Purchasing AC resembles buying a car. It's not cheap. I also needed to run around and ask my neighbors to move their cars from their spots. A gigantic crane was coming to place the AC unit on the top of the building. ARC made this less stressful by David being available on email and phone to answer my questions. Things happened as scheduled: Jeremy's team arrived at a scheduled time with a text message coming to me before their arrival. It felt like all of my anxiety points I felt as a customer were covered. When the team finished their work, they explained how to use the new equipment and the control panel that looked a lot more modern than the one that was 13 years old. I highly recommend ARS/Rescue Rooter Manassas. read more

I received a call from ARS to make an appointment for spring tuneup. They had an address for me that I never lived at, even though they've been here before. I reluctantly made the appointment. 20 minutes later I get another call from them to make an appointment. At this point I canceled and asked them to not contact me again. Fast forward to today and I get a text they are on the way!! I call their office reminding them the appointment was canceled! The woman says she'll call dispatch to let technician know. Evidently she didn't because he shows up at my house 20 minutes later. I was unavailable to answer the door and he left. 30 minutes later I get another text that their technician is on the way!!! Now I had to call again! This is downright harassment and incompetence. No wonder they are offering $19.99 spring tuneups! read more
