So, our initial experience at Arrowhead Grill wasn't the best, but, I had to write an updated review because the Manager made it right! We not only received an apologetic call for our experience, but, also received a gift card. We went for dinner this past Sunday night, had a nice, quiet booth and my end cut prime rib, Yukon mashed potatoes, asparagus and shrimp cocktail were all perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious!! My hubby's pan-seared halibut was also delicious. We ended the night with the scrumptious butter cake. I felt it appropriate that I provide an updated review because Arrowhead Grill went out of their way to ensure their customers are happy and treated well, and I really appreciate it. First time at Arrowhead Grill last night with two others. We went for a very early dinner at 3:45 and sat outdoors. The patio is pleasant if a bit noisy from traffic on Union Hills. Within 15-30 minutes it was packed with patrons but tables were decently distanced and all staff wore masks properly. I had the grilled artichoke appetizer. Not a very successful dish as the artichoke was a bit overdone so no real flesh left to scrape from the leaves and the heart was only a single bite. It was also dripping in butter. My wife had the onion soup. She said it was good but nothing special. Main courses were the Delmonico steak, a New York strip, and grilled grouper. The Delmonico was nicely seasoned but cooked more than the medium rare that I ordered. No real red center, more pink and verging on medium well. It had decent flavor. It was served on an extremely hot plate which may have contributed to it being overdone. I was told the strip steak was good. The fish was a bit too overdone. Sides were au gratin potatoes and the green beans. The potatoes were tasty but they used a yellow cheddar when something like gruyere would have been more interesting. The green beans retained some snap but were swimming in butter. Service was impeccable with several staff stopping by the table. Timing of the meal was nearly perfect. Prices are a bit high although in line with other high end steakhouses. While the steaks are all graded prime, at these prices I would think they should also be dry aged. The wine list is decent if a bit overpriced. Our Duckhorn Merlot was close to three times retail. read more

The service was excellent. Our waiter Charles recommended a wine that fit our palettes perfectly. Pinot Noir smooth and cab flavorful with a great finish. My wife's Delmonico steak was ordered medium well but arrived very red. They took it back and cooked to perfection. My Delmonico was tough and difficult to cut and chew. They happily exchanged for a Rib Eye that did not compare to other Rib Eyes I am accustomed to. In the past it has been hit and miss with the steaks here and next time I will listen to my waiters suggestions. Great ambience and friendly people who aim to please. This is a high end steakhouse but I was disappointed with my steak as it was a bit tough for an expensive prime ribeye. The place was busy but the service was somewhat lacking and the waiter could have been more attentive. I doubt that we will be back again as this should have been a better dining experience. read more

I love their happy hour AG salad with salmon on top. Along with their fried green beans and their chocolate martini.

The rating is based on the service and quality of food which were both 5 star. What brought it down was a table next to us. There was a flood of profanity. My wife asked them to stop and they did for a minute. When tey srarted up again i asked then to stop or I would get the manager. Their response was to go for it which I did and then was informed that this was thr third time they have problems. The other issue we had was the decor. We spent $300 and felt that showing up with t-shirts and shkrts was not appropriate attire. Needles to say, as much as I loved our waitress, Megan and the food, we will spend our money at Donavans or Mortens which does have a dress code. read more

Everyone makes a great fuss about this restaurant, and I love soup so I figured anything here would be good....NO! Just order a steak and having a glass of wine will be the safer option. read more

First I would like to say the food is magnificent, service excellent and the ambience is sublime (but can be noisy at times). My complaint about this their marketing is terrible! I receive multiple emails a month sometimes and I don't mind them, it recalls fond memories of delicious meals. But when I received an email before Christmas stating if I come in today and purchase $100 gift cards they will include a bonus $20. How embarrassing to give them as gifts and find out there is only $100 on them. I rearranged my schedule to get there that day when I was busy finishing up my Christmas shopping. I've written to the email address posted on the website about the issue and they don't even acknowledge it? Just had a meal here this last week, I have been dining in for years! Even during Covid they had really nicely done specials for delivery /pickup. I have always really enjoyed the atmosphere and food at arrowhead grill! My only complaint would be the road noise when sitting out side but that's solved with just sitting indoors. I have been here for some larger party's where we had a room to ourselves and I feel they have always done an excellent job with the large groups! read more

My rating is based on the entire establishment, service, cleanliness, state of facility, food. Going to touch on the bad first. I used the mens restroom. There where several holes in the wall from them moving items off the wall and not filling in and patching. The general cleanliness was sub pare for a place at this price point. We arrived before the meal time (4pm) and not many people were in the place yet. The restrooms should have been pristine. It was not. Dust in areas that had not been cleaned in a long time. A dried up snot rocket on the wall at the urinal. Just gross. The management needs to fix it and fast. We sat at the bar before getting seated. Like I said, the main dinning area was supposed to open at 4pm. They didn't come and get us till 4:12. Also we could not transfer the bar tab to our dinner tab. We had to close out the bar before going to sit down.. another delay. Why on earth could the tab just not move to the dinner tab? It's not a big place, so make reservations. We found out the first time we tried to get in that we should have done that. The second time (this time) we called and got a seat. Now the good, At 4:15 we finally sat at our table. The waiter, bus service and food were excellent. The Steak was perfectly cooked. They kept drinks full and were very attentive. Also we never felt rushed. This part of the evening was great. We finally left at 6pm. It's been several days since we ate here and I had to really think about this. First impressions mean allot. Since the restroom was the first place I used in the establishment, that really made me wonder how the rest of the night would go. Fortunately the food was good and the wait staff was great. So I called in to place a dessert order and the girl that answered the phone on Saturday February 25th, 2023 at approximately 20:47 was RUDE. She refused to let me speak to the manager. The reasoning was that they aren't doing carry out orders because "it's too busy". Are you kidding me? What a joke! I literally just wanted to pick up a dessert after a beautiful night out with my family. After I asked to speak to the manager she kept on saying NO. What a horrible experience and I would never even want to see what the vibe is inside the restaurant after that. What ever happened to proper customer service and respect?! Very delicious, my wife had their famous delmonico steak, you could cut it with a butter knife so tender, along with lyonaise potatoes which we shared. I had the mixed grill, 6 Oz fillet with 2 big scallops and 2 grilled shrimp over several spears of asparagus. We also shared a Cesar salad to start, along with warm rolls. For dessert we had the warm butter cake with ice cream and mixed berries. They have an extensive menu steaks, seafood, chicken, huge wine list, an outdoor patio. So delicious! My husband and I have driven an hour an a half twice to eat here and it's well worth it. You must try the Delmonico steak. It's as tender as a filet and the most tasty steak you'll ever eat. The chefs know how to cook the steaks perfectly as requested and it was one of the most visually appealing steaks I've ever ate. Add Oscar style and you'll be in heaven. Caesar salad was garlicky but delicious. We have tried the lobster mash (full of lobster!), creamed spinach, and artisan Mac n cheese. Dessert. We have tried the s'mores. Which were messy but yummy and the creme brûlée. Again. Amazing. There wasn't one thing I was unhappy with with both meals we have had there. Service is great. You would never think from the outside, the inside would have such high quality food. Skip outback and pay a little extra on dinner here. It's well worth it. read more
