This was one of the worst meals and experiences of my life. I will never go back there again. The waiter (Ronnie) was unable to read the table and kept pushing for purchasing bottles of wine, the food was over seasoned and way overpriced. A wedge of iceberg lettuce salad was $17.00!!! None of the side dishes were made in the kitchen and for the price of the steaks, I expect some level of culinary expertise. This intimate, upscale grill has been a favorite with locals for years in the northwest Valley, including my wife and me. My wife is an executive chef, working both instate and nationally, so we often eat in upscale restaurants all over the country. We have found the food and the service at Arrowhead Grill to be consistently good. Came for my dad's 60th birthday, had a reservation and everything. We were seated quickly outside and thankfully it wasn't too hot for an April evening. We were seated (4 of us) at an almost bar like style table, barely enough room to hold our drinks and app plates. It was wobbly; we asked to be moved to another table to fit all of our entrees and sides (we were told it was reserved for a table at 8 pm; as I'm typing this now at 8:15, the table is vacant). We ordered a large spinach salad to start which didn't come until basically the entrees and sides arrived. We were hoping to take it off the check completely but at that point decided to just take it home. We all ordered the Delmonico steaks, which were tasty, but all of our specific temp preferences were not met. For example, my medium well steak was still relatively pink in the middle. Refills for drinks were few and far between; luckily the waiter comped us BOGO for the delmonicos due to a monthly deal they run, but service and food expectations were not what we expected. read more

This place is nothing short of amazing. The best service we have ever had, comparable to a cruise we took this year. Fine dining as expected but you can wear causal clothes. This place wasn't too loud or too quiet. The temperature was just right inside and our server Clarence made our first experience here outstanding. Just attentive enough, anticipating our every need and not over bearing, just how we like our service. We would have probably never tried a place like this out of random, if it weren't for a gift card we were given for a birthday. Now that we have tried it we will be back for every birthday and our anniversary! The food was incomparable. We had the ribeye since we like more flavorful robust steaks and it did not disappoint. The best steak either of us have ever had hands down. Perfect crust and crisp as well as temperature it was cooked at. Truly impressed. We had the calamari with the sauce on the side which was very delicious. We tried the creamy au gratin potatoes which is a must! We also had the asparagus which was delicious. Very nice place. My best friend loves their Chilean Sea Bass. It was quite good but not great just a tad undercooked . The Brussel Sprouts were delicious! Brownie was huge and ripped with chocolate ice cream....YUM I love chocolate and this was so rich it got the spot..... but so big I was only able to finish half. She has never had Creme Brule and really liked this one, wished that was bigger! 3 stars for cost I feel it is overpriced 10 stars for our waitress and their staff. read more

Arrowhead Grill is always a great experience service is top notch. My only recommendation is if it's your first visit definitely eat inside for the full experience. The patio can be a bit noisy and the tables are small but if you're a regular it's well worth it when that's all they have available. read more

It's been a few years since I've reviewed, but we've popped in here a number of times over the last couple of years. As usual, the meals were wonderful!! We brought a friend of ours with us and he said it's the best meal he's ever eaten!! Hubby and I got appetizers, I got the caesar salad (which was amazing!) and he got the clam chowder (he was practically licking the bowl, he loved it so much!). For our mains, all 3 of us ended up getting filets, and they were perfectly cooked. As our sides we got grilled onions, sauteed mushrooms, AG mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. Plus, our friend and I got the bleu cheese sauce for our steaks. It's hard to explain how wonderful everything tasted, just know it was. As a dessert, hubby and I split the Ghirardelli brownie w/vanilla ice cream and our friend got their signature butter cake. Our waitress, Meghan, was wonderful and remembered us from the last time we were there. The waitstaff is really outstanding here. Anniversary dinner is always great. AG has excellent steak and a very nice dining room. Our evening was very, very good. The martinis were cold and perfectly made (wish they had Grey Goose Orange Vodka), my onion soup did not disappoint, however my wife had the clam chowder which came out warm not hot. My NY Strip with peppercorn sauce was great, my wife's filet, ordered medium, came out very medium rare. It was good but undercooked for her. Our service was excellent and the butter cake dessert never disappoints. Normally a 5 Star, this time 4 due to some areas for improvement. Still love AG. read more
