Great food and huge portions!!!!! It's clean and nice ambiance!!!! Service was great will be back next time I'm passing through!!!!

Baja fish tacos

I am always excited when we get something other than a burger and fries up here in the Valley! Monday and Tuesday nites are Mexicana authentica and it is so great to come in on a rainy evening, cozy up by the fire and stuff my face with delicious tacos for $7-9 bucks a pop. Mario Ibarra and Pasquale Bianco have done a wonderful job of removing this Ben Lomond spot. Be careful in the parking lot as this property also has a bunch of residences behind it so proceed with caution as you come in.

Aromas Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Very cute little spot to stop by to eat. I must say, so many choices on the menu that you will have to stop by again to try. My order was taken quickly, and the food came out very fast. The grilled cheese sandwich was amazing and had so much flavor. Oh, and it came with a side of fries. If you ever find yourself in Aromas, make sure to stop by this hidden gem.

Buffalo chicken salad

Really good variety on the menu. Started with artichoke hearts which were brought out piping hot and delicious. Both ordered salads-the wedge and the buffalo chicken. Ample portions and terrific service! We didn't have to wait for anything. Definitely will be back to try breakfast and a burger sometime.

Sal, what's happened? Noticing that the place is not as clean, there's garbage piled up outside the windows (Marshal's) side, cobwebs everywhere, walls seem dirty.

Share this question? Grill was a reliable, consistent, quality 'go to' place....food on last visit on July 27th was unacceptable/unedible! Very sad!

My boss and coworkers have been raving about this place for the longest time, and I finally decided to come check it out for myself during lunch. Safe to say, I completely understand the hype now and I don't regret it one bit! I ordered the fries with steak bites and they were absolutely delicious. Now here's the thing , I am not a dessert person. I almost never order dessert anywhere I go, but something told me to give the brownie a try, and wow, I am so glad I did. Finger licking good doesn't even begin to cover it. That alone is worth the trip! But what really made the experience stand out was my server, Jasmine A . She was a solid 10 out of 10 incredibly friendly, attentive, and just an overall joy to be served by. I am someone who takes customer service very seriously, and Jasmine is exactly the kind of energy every restaurant needs more of. She genuinely made the whole experience even better. If you're reading this and on the fence about coming don't hesitate. The food is amazing, the service is top tier, and it is absolutely worth every single penny. This won't be my last visit, that's for sure!

Server was attentive. Full bar serving wine, beer, and cocktails. Located in old town Salinas -- I was told this spot is one of Salinas' oldest establishments occupying the same building from when it was founded in 1940. Hope they make it to 100 years! Also, my friend said this spot is known for their prime rib. I'll have to make it in one day to try for myself.

Husband ordered the Oak firewood roasted pork chop special and I ordered the lamb chop lollipop appetizer for my dinner with a Tres Pino house salad. (See pics. Didn't take salad pic sorry. ) Everything was dee-lish!!! We will be back with the kids. The ambiance was nice, lighting was intimate and cozy. The bar looked very crafty and seemed to have every ingredient to appease your cocktail desires. Can't wait to come back!

The decor is nice with white cloth tablecloths. The menu has a lot of different choices. My wife ordered the fish special. A sole in a white wine and cream sauce with capers. I ordered veal saltimbocca ( veal with prosciutto with a white wine and caper brown sauce. My wife lived her dish. She said the fish was quite nice and the risotto was flavorful. My saltmbocca was delicious but a bit over cooked. My side were good but nothing. Special. The dessert menu had several options. My wife choose the crème burle and I a berry cup with grand manure. Both were tasty and the crème burle had a crunchy top and creamy custard. Note they have an extensive wine list including some iconic wines. Service was good the wait staff was very professional and friendly. I would say that service was a little slow but not too bad. We will be back for sure.

The setting is absolutely beautiful. It's in a lovely location that feels like a peaceful escape, even if you're just passing through. We called about 20 mins in advance on our way from Casa de Fruta (where I could eat nothing). We'd never been there, always stopping for a pit-stop at Pea Soup Anderson's when going through that area. So first of all, the hotel grounds are beautiful, totally unexpected in this middle of nowhere hotel. The outdoor dining area for the restaurant is gorgeous and relaxing. The staff aware all polite and helpful. I had to wait a bit longer than expected but I grabbed the pizzas and took them to the car and was first of all shocked at how beautiful the pizza was. I got the California veggie pizza without mushrooms and added pepperoni, with gluten free crust. My husband got the same but not gluten free. This was one of the best gluten free pizzas I've EVER had. Everything as clearly freshly made. Amazing. Sad it's so far away from where I live! On the way out I checked out prices for the hotel...about 200 bucks a night. Totally reasonable. We'll be back here next time we're heading through this area!

We visited Ladera Grill on a Sunday evening and it was fairly empty with maybe 5/6 guests in the whole restaurant. We were seated right away with our reservation into a nice booth. The table setting here is lovely and the menus are high-quality. Everything that you would expect for a romantic fine dining experience. The host who helped us was a young girl and she was very polite, nice, and helpful. :) Something I really love about this restaurant is that they have so many amazing different options to select from. It was honestly a bit tough to make a decision because everything sounded so great in the menu! lol. Eventually I did decide I would try something new so I chose the Filet Mignon Pasta because it sounded like something that is very unique. I have never heard of this before so I was inspired to try it out! :) My boo got the Chicken with rice and broccoli. Everything was delicious! &Wow the food arrived very fast. I must say we absolutely LOVED the Filet Mignon Pasta it was PACKED with so much juicy, meaty, flavor. Yum yum! Highly recommend. Everything with our experience here was lovely and our server was pretty decent also. I only took one star off because the restaurant experience leaves a little to be desired like we don't necessarily love it enough to come back but it was definitely a nice experience overall. :) The #1 memorable thing about our experience was the delicious pasta :D but everything else was pretty standard. Still I would definitely recommend for a date night, small get together, and/or a quiet business meeting (since I noticed a few going on at the time lol.)
