Oh, Habit Burger - the kiosk ordering is a major fail. So it's the emphasis on reducing human…read moreinteraction. Road travel can be challenging enough, and being treated like only a number isn't satisfying. Dear Hubby and I stopped by on a Friday evening during the long drive from Southern California to the Bay Area. He was hungrier than I was, and I struggled to find something on the lighter side that was still tasty. I had decided on the albacore tuna sandwich and splitting a side of onion rings with DH. Then the drama with the kiosk ordering system began. Onion rings weren't coming up as a choice at all. The kitchen staff (including whoever was suppose to be available to run the regular register in case someone wants to pay with cash or has questions) were all busy, busy doing their things. Their backs were to their customers, which became annoying and rude. I DID have questions, and the kiosk wasn't allowing me to order what I wanted to order. I ended up telling DH what I wanted and gave up to go to the car as I'd forgotten something in there. When I came back he was waiting to fill up our drink cups. He gave me the table number card and I found a table. He said that he did get to speak with a human after all after I'd gone outside. Surprise, surprise! When the food came, my sandwich, while tasty, was super sloppy with too much sauce. I had a hard time eating it without risking wearing part of the 'wich on my clothes. It was an unsatisfying experience on many levels. I don't blame this store, per se - I realize that it's a decision foist on them by management up the food chain. I've always respected the Habit Burger chain, but that feeling took a big hit with the fiasco at the Salinas location. I didn't feel welcome or appreciated. Removing the human connection is a big mistake for any business that requires building customer loyalty. Saving a few bucks on a real worker by installing an ordering kiosk that's not smart is not good business, in my humble opinion. I would not plan to return to this location, and will not have Habit as a top choice for dining out any time soon at other locations.

Normally I eat, Teriyaki Char and side of Green bean fries with a drink…read more My dad is original char meal. either me and my dad, or me + dad and my bro and his fiancé. I recently learned on kiosks teriyaki char you can add extra pineapple plus bacon and minus onions, it makes for tasty burger. Well done makes the patty taste crispy. Unseasoned, If we go here I have bring sandwich bag. My brother eats chicken or steak sandwich from what I'm recalling last time we ate in His fiancé had chicken cob salad. It goes fast. Drink selection is interesting: in house tea, juice mix and vitamin water. I decided because cupholder in car only fits regular cups to get regular only from now because I was holding cup of Large cup previously, and I would dropped it because feels too flimsy. Regular size seems more stable. Service is fast and speedy by Togo, and stay to eat. If you stay, it's well lit and very clean. Windows don't have smudges unless you put them there. It's normally my father and Brother's favorite place to go. For Burger ppl.

A lot of people I know are regulars here and they keep reminding me about it…read more We order takeout from here semi-regularly and it's always good and consistent but I rarely stop in. But I think that is about to change. I was at the Farmer's Market that happens right outside this place on Saturdays and I ventured in for an iced tea. What I found was super friendly service. They said I could sit outside at the tables to enjoy my beverage - even if that was all I purchased. That was so cool of 'em that I decided to try a cheeseburger. It's a pretty good burger! We recently had a slew of cloudy, chilly rainy days in Nov. 2025 so today seemed warm and the cheeseburger had a summery char-grilled flavor, perfectly cooked and juicy. They bring everything on the side so you can choose how much you want of everything - lettuce, generous serving of sliced tomatoes and onions. I just have to remember to hold the mayo next time. Some of the outdoor seats have umbrellas and some don't so you can decide if you like shade or sun. They also have heated tables (firepits) for evening dinners. Server came and checked on me twice and when I asked for a to go cup for my tea, she filled the to go cup for me rather than just making me pour what I had left into it. We normally do takeout and they have unique Mexican options from Oaxaco that are healthy Blue Zone inspired dishes alongside the more traditional Mexican options. Plus perennial faves that carried over from the previous owner like real roasted turkey. This is a cool place with solid options to suit many tases and the best part is the super friendly service. I'm going to make a note to come back soon.

They have some of the best rice and beans, and their chile relleno is probably the best I've ever had. Everything is made with so much love and time, and their customer service is always exceptional. I recommend this place to everyone! I love coming here.

My boss and coworkers have been raving about this place for the longest time, and I finally decided to come check it out for myself during lunch. Safe to say, I completely understand the hype now and I don't regret it one bit! I ordered the fries with steak bites and they were absolutely delicious. Now here's the thing , I am not a dessert person. I almost never order dessert anywhere I go, but something told me to give the brownie a try, and wow, I am so glad I did. Finger licking good doesn't even begin to cover it. That alone is worth the trip! But what really made the experience stand out was my server, Jasmine A . She was a solid 10 out of 10 incredibly friendly, attentive, and just an overall joy to be served by. I am someone who takes customer service very seriously, and Jasmine is exactly the kind of energy every restaurant needs more of. She genuinely made the whole experience even better. If you're reading this and on the fence about coming don't hesitate. The food is amazing, the service is top tier, and it is absolutely worth every single penny. This won't be my last visit, that's for sure!

Also, my friend said this spot is known for their prime rib. I'll have to make it in one day to try for myself.
