Pastrami Reuben
Tonia C.

We've been here twice in the past month. The food is not really for health nuts but is it ever good! Though, if you want to be health conscious, they have salads and a veggie sandwich. We do support this business a lot primarly through takeout but after a couple of recent closures in oldtown, it was a wake up call and we really want to support our local businesses because we wouldn't be the same without them. We have enjoyed friendly service both times we've been here in May and June 2025. First time, I had Fish and Chips and substituted garlic fries. It was crispy and delicious with a perfect side of cole slaw. The second time, we brought friends who hadn't tried the food and they were very satisfied w/ their Chicken Salad and Pastrami Reuben. A word about that Reuben: It is outstanding; made in the classical tradition of grilling Rye, adding saurkraut, Swiss cheese and Thousand Island dressing, it hits the spot! If you like pastrami, you will not be disappointed. Though I've never tried it, a couple of friends have recommended the TriTip sandwich. It's easy to overlook this spot as being just a bar, but it is a really great spot for a casual lunch or dinner with much better than average bar grub, prepared with thought. I can't leave without recommending the hot dogs! My fave is the Chicago but you can build your own as well.

Great ambiance. The drinks were really good and the waitresses Jannete and Megan are very friendly I'll definitely be coming back.

Always a great time at this locally owned sports bar. Food is actually surprisingly very high-quality and local! Bartenders are friendly, great TVs for watching sports and cool ambience.

Beer-Battered Onion Rings

Honestly this is such a guys bar, but they have the best onion rings ever!! Def recommend with a beer. Plus, the bartenders and staff always provide great service

Happy hour!

Got the chips and salsa and 3 mini tacos. Great service. Great food. Very busy on a Friday night. TVs on so you don't have to miss any of the games.

Chipotle Chicken Sandwich

This review is based solely on the food as I ordered takeout. I know this place is mostly known for their bar, but the food is pretty darn good. I've had both the Chipotle and pesto chicken sandwiches, both were delicious. If I had to pick a favorite, I'd choose the chipotle sandwhich. The fries are decent. I appreciate their portion size. You definitely get what you pay for. I'd recommend.

James Dean is in the 201 Main spot and uses the large, gorgeous patio. Though it is a bar with TVs and high seats, the patio is the best part about this venue, with fire pits, and a fountain wall. We found out they have a happy hour from 4 to 7 pm. Woohoo! Small bites like Chips and Dip and Garlic fries plus $5 to $7 beer, wine and drinks, you can get out of the house without breaking the bank. We had a Rodeo burger (barbecue sauce and onion rings) and the Pepperoni Pizza with a cauliflower crust. Both were delicious! The burger is good enough to stand against other burger joints like Islands. The pizza crust is crispy. Cauliflower crust is going to take getting used to because the crust is the most important part of the pizza. But for a night out to hear live music without having to go all the way to Monterey, this is a great place to go. The menu is small but you don't come here for the food anyway. Service is friendly. Band was fun. I went to follow them on IG, and see that it IS being marketed. I just didn't know the name of the place. They have TVs inside with sports. I'd come back.

Came in for a late dinner and made it just before the kitchen closed. The space is large, the staff…read morewas friendly and the live band playing. Unfortunately, the food was a major letdown. I ordered the sampler plate, which arrived well after everyone else's meals. It seemed like our server forgot to put it in, along with a salad order for someone else in our group. When it finally arrived, everything was room temperature at best. The onion rings were soggy, the cauliflower bites were cold, undercooked, and inconsistently battered, and the artichoke was the only thing with a decent texture, though it lacked any real flavor. The slider had potential, but the patty was cold. My husband got a pizza that looked and tasted like a frozen Tony's--I didn't bother trying it. I didn't speak up at the table because we were with a group and didn't want to dampen the celebration, but the food quality needs serious improvement. This place clearly puts more energy into its nightlife than its kitchen. With such a great setup and fun atmosphere, the food should be able to match. I hope they step it up.

My boss and coworkers have been raving about this place for the longest time, and I finally decided to come check it out for myself during lunch. Safe to say, I completely understand the hype now and I don't regret it one bit! I ordered the fries with steak bites and they were absolutely delicious. Now here's the thing , I am not a dessert person. I almost never order dessert anywhere I go, but something told me to give the brownie a try, and wow, I am so glad I did. Finger licking good doesn't even begin to cover it. That alone is worth the trip! But what really made the experience stand out was my server, Jasmine A . She was a solid 10 out of 10 incredibly friendly, attentive, and just an overall joy to be served by. I am someone who takes customer service very seriously, and Jasmine is exactly the kind of energy every restaurant needs more of. She genuinely made the whole experience even better. If you're reading this and on the fence about coming don't hesitate. The food is amazing, the service is top tier, and it is absolutely worth every single penny. This won't be my last visit, that's for sure!

Also, my friend said this spot is known for their prime rib. I'll have to make it in one day to try for myself.

Menu it appears they're willing to change by trend. We all had burgers, but we double burgers or split burgers. Soda is refilled, except handcrafted sodas. In the future; might want to research seasonal coleslaw or broccoli-slaw for change up of side menu salads. Other: fried or steamed vegs as possible finger food. Portion side, it was expected. Shio liked the bacon melt leftover. I found out what was missing alfalfa sprouts made taste elevated. Not sure if they would add pan fry egg as optional item. Server was good, he explained things better, and ambiance wasn't too noisy to hear him. Server did say you can seating arrangement is up to customers. Noon time on Saturday seems like less busy, my brother was telling us, hard to get in, reserve spot, and appears like that way only if there was a live game it said so in commercials. Packed to where ppl were waiting in line get in. They do work hard making place clean. Thank you for the good food it was yummy. Edited at desktop, mobile doesn't allow much for spellcheck. Note: 1-star rating ppl might have gone when it was live game. Suggestion go when it's lunch or game days are re-played. Patience is a virtue, try to eat more when you go out.
