I had a Brazilian wax from here & it was the worst experience I ever had. I've been getting waxed for 3 years now. I've recently moved to Virginia & found this spot. I had a lady named Rita I believe(I couldn't really understand her Bcs of her accent) but I asked how long she's been doing it & she responded 10 years. I don't recommend. The pain sucked. Bonus points because it is one of the only nail salons open on a Sunday. That got it a star. The nail tech (a nice Indian woman) was sweet and thorough. Plus another star for her great attitude, but minus one because there is only one nail tech on duty on a weekend. Two would have been better, since there are two chairs. They also do hair and massage here, so that makes it more spa-like. Everyone here seems pleasant, but not a great selection of colors and it is a bit run down. The manicure supplies (lotions, scrubs, etc.) are of good quality, but I did not see evidence of sterilization of tools. No drills used here - all done by hand. No artificial tips here, either. Either shellac or regular nail polish. She got shellac on my skin, so I had to do some cleanup and filing when I got home, so minus another star. But overall worth the visit and I will likely be back. read more

Best massage ever! Convenient location inside of the mall. Great for people who workout or just seeking relaxation. I went in with sore/ stiff legs and shoulders. My massage therapist was LESLIE and she left me with a great experience overall i left out feeling loose enough to go for a run even. It's sad what about to say and I'm hoping this will caution many before patronizing here. So, earlier this evening my friend and I came by for just eyebrows. The eyebrows were pretty decent and we had no complaints. However, this is where the main issue starts. So, we saw they also offered pedicures and so we both decided to get one done. The lady told me she could only do one at a time and so then I left to get my haircut next door while my friend started her pedicure. When I came back from my haircut and walked to the pedicure area I've noticed so many things that were wrong about this place that I was petrified to even sit down in the chair. We noticed the equipment such as the pedicure tub was extremely dirty, nail polish residue from Lord knows when and the chairs we had to sit in were severely damaged and torn. Even the manicure area looked like the tables never been cleaned or wiped down. Just a complete mess. We were left in shocked and horror as it seems to be the usual. We will never patronage here again, I usually try not to be so brutally honest about experiences like this but it was just too unreal for me not to share this. I'm really sadden by this and I'm hoping maybe my review will bring awareness and change for this establishment. read more

I want to say I like the Spa but will never get a pedicure there ever again. Get off work from being on my feet all day and expecting to relax with a nice regular pedicure(massage) like but it was several interruptions to get supplies then get help with paraffin treatment. They should warn you that the person is new so you can know what to expect and very broken English and wasn't able to really understand my request. Don't mind giving someone a chance was just annoyed. Then I left to dry and was never checked on. I will only get massages and eyebrow threading here. Was trying to get everything done at one location . And no one should leave a salon with their foot looking like this. read more

Hello, Aroma Spa is my go to spa for my eyebrows. Sabi was the eyebrow tech that did my eyebrows. She is now gone so I gave Ruby a shit at doing my eyebrows and she did an exceptional job. Sometimes when you get your eyebrows done the tech do very minimum around the brow but in aroma spa they really clean up around your brow and get the hair thats growning on your forehead around your eyebrow. So all of you that went to Sabi from my recommendation, you can go to Ruby and get your eyebrows done just like the work that Sabi did. read more

I had to go back and revise this review and add a star. Last night was my second time back at Aroma Spa. I had an annoying day and needed a little relaxation. I called around 7:30p and they got me right in for an hour long massage. The therapist, Fay, was very good and quite friendly. Not many places will get you in without an appointment and so late at night. They also have some membership plans you can use for discounted facials and massages. The prices are decent and even better if you enjoy frequently utilizing those types of services. read more

I had a fun time going here for my birthday with my sister but we both felt like our nails were not done to "incredible" standards. Our manicures were done rather sloppy, as we had nail polish on our fingers. The pedicures were done well and with more attention. I would go here again, but will probably be checking out other places in the area first. read more

The place was not clean. The pedicure was torture, I never get nail paint and I usually can get a good pedi with a nice massage but it was done quickly, with the most painful "massage" that literally tears come to my eyes. The mani was not painful but I left with skin around my cuticles that should have been trimmed. I felt I was an after thought and just get done to make the $50. read more

Wish I found this place sooner! The lady that threaded my eyebrows did a great job! I see she's definitely a perfectionist so she took her time to make it look the way I want it to. I don't want to leave any stars. It is not deserved. I had a massage appointment scheduled with the lady ( whom I believe is Indian?) Not to sure on her nationality, but anyway, I think she is the owner. I had arrived a few minutes earlier and so she brought me to the massage room, I got undressed, and waited...she walked in 12 minutes later. At first I was like okay she is 12 minutes late, coming back into the room. So maybe she is going to just go 12 minutes over into my massage time. Nope. She did not AND ...SHE STOPPED 10 MINUTES EARLIER!! INTO MY MASSAGE TIME. I made an hours massage appointment. I was not pleased with the massage. I was definitely not pleased with how I paid for an hours time massage, and she was late into starting the appointed massage and stopped early! I never went back. It was not worth it and I thought that was rude and not very professional and I was ripped off from my paid massage appointment. Never going back here again. I even stated she stopped 10 minutes early and started 12 minutes late and she acted like she did not understand me. She ignored me. So sad when you're paying for something very much needed and wanting to relax and you leave upset and not very satisfied or relaxed. read more

I dont usually leave reviews however, i got my eyebrows done awhile ago they did turn out good but my eyelids got burned because of how far down they wax, the wax wasn't hot and my skin is by no means sensitive. They just put the wax so far down that my eye creases got burnes from the wax. read more

Got a Brazilian wax & a 30 minute massage today. Both, I'm very pleased with. Golinda--I think is her name-- did an amazing job w my wax. She was so nice & we chatted the entire time making me feel so comfortable. I didn't get the name of the sweet lady who massaged me but she did amazing. Don't attempt a wax here. It was the most painful experience I've ever had and WAY to expensive!! $80 for a full bikini is ridiculous! Yes, I should have asked beforehand but I figured everyone else in the area had roughly the same prices, they would too... Nope. The woman was very inattentive and no sort of technique other than 'slather on hot wax and yank off the strip' was used. The job was very well done but the workers made me and my mom feel very uncomfortable because the ladies who did our nails made comments about how our nails looked and how we shouldn't bite out nail and yes I do agree I need to stop doing that but that isn't your place to tell me Ma'am and it kinda sounded a little rude on her part. I was extremely disappointed with the deceptive tactics used by the "owner" whom provided me service. She blatantly lied up front about the cost for the service and after she finished, charged my card for an amount nearly half of what was agreed upon. I felt extremely ripped off and when I called to question her about the excessive charge she hung the phone up on me! Extremely unprofessional and I will never go back there. I like that there was no wait, but WILL NOT go back. I was quoted $25.00 a week ago, when I stopped in to ask about a pedi. Even inquired about ingrown toenails, she said it was the price mentioned above....because they have to dig deep. Yet today when I walked in to get it done, I was told they don't go deep, she didn't even get the dirt out of my toenails. I was charged $40.00, so ridiculously wrong!!! It WASN'T worth that, not to mention they SHOULD have charged me what I was quoted....it's the RIGHT thing to do...to the other poster who felt like they were ripped off, I agree! I was too.
