The moment you step into this spa, the high-end, relaxing, and modern vibe sweeps you away. Korinna, the owner, is the epitome of walking advertisement with her ridiculously gorgeous skin. I essentially walked in saying, "I want what you get." Elizabeth, the aesthetic magician, gave me a HydraFacial, and it was a sublime. A HydraFacial is a multi-step facial treatment that works wonders. Elizabeth meticulously explained each product, its purpose, and how it would benefit my skin. The results are mind-blowing--my skin is literally glowing. I never knew what "plumped up" meant until now, and my face feels rejuvenated in a way I didn't think possible without a time machine. Seriously, the results of the HydraFacial at Haven Room are more impressive and noticeable than Botox when it comes to looking and feeling younger. I've had two incidents with this place so won't bother returning. 1) I made an appointment and weeks later they called to say they made a mistake and should not have booked that time so had to re-schedule. Now I'm out weeks and was given no priority in replacing the appointment I'd needed. 2) to make matters worse, I scheduled way in advance to get my daughter's hair done for her keepsake Senior school pictures - yet they called just two hours before the appointment to cancel!! They'll say they can't help when a stylist gets sick - but they not only did nothing to reschedule her, they had a pissy dismissive attitude. They refused to put her with a new stylist, have one stay late, or double up even if we had to wait between appointments - ANYTHING to make up for them simply cancelling - they did nothing and worse could not care less. If you value your time, they won't. Don't bother going where you're not wanted.

I've been using their services every 2 weeks for the last year and a half. Their covid protocols were sooo good. I love their color selection, the care they take with broken nails, the foor and hand massages as part of the mani/pedi experience, and LOVE their bathroom. I've had to stop in at least 3 times over the 18 months for emergencies where I have messed up my paint or broken a nail and they always work me in for a quick fix. She was very personable and great and very skilled at doing lashes. She took her time and was able to get rid of the outgrown lash clumps that my last tech had missed (which was a lot!) She was very professional and explained to me what she was doing to my lashes whenever I felt a pinch (which was not her fault, it was because my lashes were so clumped together) and gave me warning ahead of time. I would highly recommend Nyema and Glam Life Beauty Bar for your lash needs, but just be aware that they're a little more pricey than others because they operate out of a shop and there's a shop owner, while the other lash techs work out of their homes.
