I got told an off the wall excuse to why I couldn't get a color change which made zero sense cause I've been to over nail salons and they have done It before with no issue. The man that did my pedicure did a horrible job filing my toe that made It look slanted and I told him to fix It and It was still crooked. Also the design he did was so low effort (supposed to be simple flower) but all he did was 6 dots on my toe and called It a day. If I wasn't in the service industry I wouldn't have tipped him so he was lucky I was generous. read more

I had been going to Teresas Beauty bar for about 6 months, getting multiple different services done. Lashes, microblading, nails, and in February I had my bridal trial. Everything up to this point was great. July, I had bridal portraits scheduled, my hair appt scheduled, and my makeup scheduled all on the same day early in the morning before my portrait appt at 11:45am in FARMVILLE. I reached out to the makeup artist the day prior to my appt to confirm, she confirmed. Later that same day she messaged me saying she wanted me to come into the salon for my makeup (I had asked that she come onsite to me, she had agreed) because she had other clients right after me that she didn't want to be late for. I told her that I unfortunately didn't have the extra time to travel to her, which was why I booked her to come onsite to me. (I had booked her a month in advance for this) I offered for to come 30 min earlier than our original time so that hopefully that gave her the extra time she needed. This is where things started to go downhill, I noticed the dirty makeup brushes but didn't have the time or energy to argue about it. (I made a mental note to have a conversation with her about this since she was supposed to do my entire wedding parties' makeup for my wedding day) The makeup I received for my portraits did NOT match what was done at my trial, but I let it go because I didn't have time to fuss and was already irritated with the dirty brushes. THE WEEK BEFORE MY WEDDING (in August) SHE CANCELED!!! I was utterly pissed to say the least. Completely taken back by the level of unprofessionalism I was witnessing by a service provider I had been seeing for a year now. As a beauty industry professional myself, I was in complete AWE. I've seen and heard of the horror stories of brides being left high and dry by beauty professionals just before their wedding, but never imagined I'd be one of them!!! No, there was no death in the family, no major illness, the excuse was, "I'm too stressed". Every single person on the face of this planet deals with the stress of life day in and day out, and due to the repour I thought I had with the service provider I never saw this coming. And also, due to that repour, the excuse was complete BS, I myself had already been through the life process she was currently going through, and never did I cancel on any of my guests because I was "stressed". Needless to say, I have cut ties with this business. Their practices are unsanitary and unprofessional, and I will no longer refer anyone here. read more

I was looking for a nail salon to soak off and remove my gel-x nails when I noticed this salon had the highest ratings of any nearby. That's when I met some of the friendliest and funniest staff. I definitely plan to return for a pedicure and a manicure with Sav and Nae! I highly recommend visiting them! I have never had such a fun experience at a nail salon before! read more

This place is absolutely beautiful. A little pricy but beautiful. I took my boyfriends mom here so that we could have a fun pedi/ self care day. I made us appointments so there was no wait. It was very clean and looked upscale. They had a bar area but they didn't ask us if we wanted anything nor did they offer. My normal nail shop always just brings out wine, water, or juice. But anyway... she just wanted a regular pedicure and she was very happy with it. It was only $32. I got the black diamond pedicure and outside of the paraffin wax and the massage, I'm not sure why it was $62. The description said it was a jelly type of foot bath and charcoal detoxification.... But there was none of that. Maybe it was a situation of them taking advantage because I didn't really know what I was expecting or looking for... but the young lady that did my feet was SO NICE!!! Based on her customer service alone, I would choose to go back. When I went to pay, I wanted to tip each person a certain amount and I asked the woman at the front desk, why didn't it ask me about splitting the tip. She said, we split it based on the service you got and how long it took. No... that's not what I want to do. They both did a good job and i want to tip them the same amount. She said, if that's what you want, then okay... Well yeah.... What if he would have gotten $2 and she would have gotten $18 because mine took longer... nah... i don't like that... I hope they both got what I left them. It wasn't a bad experience... it just wasn't what i expected. Visited as a new client and made an appt for 9:30. Arrived at 9:15 and by 10:30 no one had started my nails. I kept being promised someone would start but no one ever did. Can't speak to the quality of their work, but my experience was pretty terrible. Would not recommend. read more

The place looks really nice, compared to where it's located; it's got that modern bougie feel. However, their customer service sucks. What's the point of having a receptionist desk, if there's nobody there. I went there twice, and both times nobody greeted me. Then when I come in for my appointment, they all look confused like a chicken with its head cut off. The nail take barely spoke to me, only to ask how short I want my nails and to pick my color. Granted I could have done more to have a conversation with her, but she did not seem like in a good mood. I would've loved to hear more about the salon and their services. Now to my nails; I got a gel manicure, and I'm honestly so disappointed in them. The color is so pretty, but it's just so sloppy. The polish is all on my cuticles, if it was regular polish I would be okay with it because it'll just come off. But I got gel polish, my cuticles are literally stuck to the gel polish. Now for anyone who knows about gel polish, if it's laid on too thick or stuck to your cuticles it will start to lift. I even have clear gel on the sides and under my nails that I'm gonna have to file off. I also told her I want them square shaped and they're not at all even. Not to forget she had to redo the top coat because there was some streaky missing spots. There still is on some nails. I originally wanted to get a design, but it was kinda hard to talk to the nail tech cuz she seemed in a bad mood, she kept walking away a few times, and reading some paper. When I was shown to my seat the water was leaking out from the bottom of the tub on both sides. I let the technician working next to me know, he told multiple people but they ignored him. 15 min later when someone showed up, they moved me to a different bowl. I got the Tea tree pedicure thinking it would be refreshing and relaxing. I picked that one because the description stated a deep massage was included, that's just what I needed being 35 weeks pregnant. I've heard how nice Teresa's Beauty Bar is more than a few times, and that's definitely true-it's clean, spacious, sparkly and new, and they appear to be doing a good job with COVID precautions. They also took me 45 minutes before closing for a pedicure, which I appreciate. Having said that, it was not a great experience otherwise. The pedicure was just ok, and the polish job was really terrible. The technician informed me that she was going to paint white underneath the color I'd chosen, because it wouldn't show up otherwise. I knew this wasn't true, as I'd gotten the color before, but I didn't think it was important enough to argue about, so I said ok. The girl was generally nice but just not skilled at the job. She painted two thick coats of white and then two thick coats of yellow, guaranteed to appear gloppy when done. When I pointed out the streakiness, she said it was due to the light color I'd chosen, and there was nothing she could do except paint another coat on that one nail...nope nope nope. Not an appropriate response, and not the solution, when it's already way too thick, either. I disagreed and she begrudgingly agreed to paint that one nail, which she did, but it still looked bad and the white peeks out from the yellow in an unattractive way. I wish I had been more assertive, but at this point, it was after closing and I didn't want to keep her any longer. In the future, given the price and the level of service and low quality, I will stick with my normal shop. Teresa's is very nice in the inside and they do have a "luxurious" atmosphere. However, that will not keep them getting my business. I had gotten eyelash extensions, the first appointment was great and I was happy with my lashes. Aside from the two techs in the lash room talking shit about a client that had just left. Unprofessional. Same day I had an appointment for a full set I showed them what I wanted (first pic) vs what I got (second pic). They also had 4 different people work on my hands and the lash tech cutting my nails when she claimed she didn't know what she was doing. I had an appointment and there was no reason why I was getting passed off to other techs. Was very unhappy with my nails, not the right shape, ALL OF THEM were different lengths and they were streaky. A couple weeks go by and I get my 2 week lash fill. Sinthia was 30 minutes late, and she was rude the whole appointment. All of my fallout from my lashes has been huge clumpy fans,within the first day I had fallout. I'm not a lash tech but I'm pretty sure that's the lazy way out. And to make it clear, I don't wear makeup and I have been washing my lashes. I have come to Teresa's a multitude of times and brought several people with me. I even brought my dad in for his first pedicure on his birthday. Every single person I've encountered has been knowledgeable, friendly, and skilled. Ty, Cindy, Ken, Savie, and Sophie have all made every visit worth my time and money. The specials for each season are so fun (gingerbread pedicure, pumpkin spice pedicure, etc) and the salon itself is stunning compared to any other place in the surrounding area. Most recently I came in for manicures after being in nursing school for a long time and having no nail care done at all. Ty cleaned up my horrible nails and suggested dip powder to strengthen and grow the nails I've ruined. In only 2 weeks my nails have become stronger, longer, and beautiful. I highly recommend having an appointment, although they take walk ins, they are always sure to take those who have made an appointment and make them a priority. We have always loved the service and work that we've had done, but today we were really disappointed. I called earlier to make an appointment for my daughter and I. There were no more appointments available, but I was told that if we came in by 4:30, they would fit us in. When we arrived, we were told to pick out our colors which we did. We sat down to wait. After a few minutes sitting there, young man came up to us and told us they could not accommodate us today. I explained that I was told to come in, but no accommodation was made other to ask who I spoke to, and the girl I spoke to did not give me her name. I have been coming every 2-3 weeks to get my nails dipped and have had fabulous experiences here each time. Rarely any foundation issues with my nails, in fact my natural nails are stronger and healthier than ever. Ty is wonderful but all of the staff are professional and kind. Talk about stunning! Teresa's is by far the most beautiful salon I've ever seen. It looks like it belongs in Hollywood! White marble and crystal chandeliers all over would make any client feel fab just entering the place. It's always really bright and clean. You gotta love the super colorful polish wall too! Teresa herself does absolutely amazing nails. Super long lasting and never lift or break! & I totally love all the staff here. Especially Kathy & Alex. He does really great pedicures too! They also sell cute and trendy clothes which is awesome because you can get all your beauty services done and shop around. *update* Wow ladies, so much has happened in the last 30 minutes and I have to say I'm in absolute shock! I was contacted by Kathy from Teresa's beauty bar and I can't believe how amazing she is! Honestly she makes me want to give the salon a second chance. She reached out to me after seeing the negative feedback about the salon. She's the manager and she has completely made it right. MADE IT RIGHT! If anyone wants to try the salon or give it a second chance, make your appointment with her. I told her to have the owner of the salon stay away from the front desk and the Facebook page. I cannot believe this!! This is how you run a business and I'm so impressed. Maybe a little late from the original post but better late than never. Rant/review: Teresa's beauty bar I used to be a frequent flyer when it came to getting mani pedis on the regular. But after living in Germany (not great nail services) and having my son it's become something special, when I do go and treat myself. After going through some reviews and you ladies highly recommending the salon, I decided to book an apt. This is a really special thing because I was leaving for Vegas that night! I wanted to make sure my mani looked fresh! My first time being away from my almost two year old son for a bachelorette party! The salon was beautiful, the employees were so friendly, I loved it! I got a very basic pedi and shellac manicure. I was happy with the color and they do use a well known brand. $60 for both before tip. I get out of the salon about noon Wednesday morning and by Friday morning about 10 I noticed that every single one of my nails had lifted. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. I was pissed! Barley 24 hours and I had to pick all of it off, I look down at my feet and a few of those have been chipped as well, I hadn't even gone into the pool yet. I called them immediately and told them what happened and the nice man on the phone said he would be happy to redo them. But that isn't the point is it? I'm in Vegas!! I'm not just at home or at work when I can easily come back in, no I'm in Vegas where I should have beautiful nails and enjoying my trip. Today: I walk into the salon a woman greets me and We exchange pleasantries. She asks me why I'm there and I let her know I would like a refund of my services. She says that's impossible and really she doesn't want to give me a redo because it's been too many days but will. I have my son with me who is starting to want down. I explain the situation that this was a special occasion and I don't need my nails done right now, I wanted them done for Vegas. I'm getting angry and she keeps repeating herself, I told her there is an exception for every rule and this isn't how you run a business. I asked her if she wanted a bad review and she said "if you must". After realizing she was not going to give me a refund I asked her for a rain check or certificate to come at another date and she said, "today only". Which was the icing on the cake for not making it right and me trying to compromise/ come to an agreement. Ive never wrote a bad review and honestly I hate hurting someone's business but this is wrong. The services I picked should be good for minimum a week and because there was a damper on my vacation that I've been looking forward to and planning for 6 months! Too expensive and sloppy. He left polish all around the toes. Just to have gel nail polish added was 35 dollars. So my pedicure went from 45 to 80 dollars plus tax. The massage was half fast. He didn't trim up the nails or cuticles either. Also, whenever he did the uv on my nails, it stung badly. The gal who did my husbands, was very half fast on his. I took my mom for a mani/pedi for her birthday. We couldn't go on her actual birthday but they let us have the sweetheart's special anyway. Layla serviced my mom and Alex did my service. They were both very nice and the way Layla was patient with my mom was awesome. Alex is very talented and I enjoyed the outcome. Very nice touch with the chocolate rubs and mimosas!!! I booked a same day appointment but requested someone from another review that wasn't there. I specifically requested a tech who gave great foot massages with my pedicure. I arrived on time and was excited by the lovely interior and cleanliness of the salon. Bright and well lit with modern decor. The pedicure massage chair was excellent and my tech, Sophie was professional and did an okay job...ish. I informed her I was in need of a great massage and a light exfoliating. I selected the $40 pedicure which was supposed to include a deep massage, but I was given a light petting with some slapping on tops of my feet and calves. There was a cut on my foot which I wasn't aware of and the callus remover burned that skin and I asked her to wipe it off, but she didn't understand me and I did it myself. She didn't paint my toes evenly either, and it felt rushed. I've never had a pedicure that was less than 45 minutes till yesterday. This place is a wanna be fancy nail salon that customer service leaves MUCH to be desired. My first experience here was for a pedicure and the gentleman who did my toes painted ONE COAT on them, put a top coat on, and sent me on my way out the door without waiting for them to dry. I could see all the streaks of the nail polish on my toes. So, I called and complained and the male owner invited me back in to do a complimentary pedicure. This was much better and I decided I'd just have the owners do my services from now. So, I requested Teresa to do a nail dip today. When I showed up she was dying her hair and stuck me with another employee who left my nails feeling rough and talked on her phone during my service. I would NOT recommend this place unless you enjoy being sh*t on. read more

We walked for a wedding party, and were seated in a timely manner, the customer service was amazing we were offered refreshments. There is a great color selection not only for gel but for dip powder and polish as well! The prices were perfect and my nails turned out beautiful!
