I believe I met the own who was very nice and explained the prices and when to pick up. Few days later same great customer service also was asked if I need help carrying bags into my car. read more

I was charged $25.00 plus tax for a dry clean on a full-size chenille bed spread. It was hand to me in a plastic zipped bag. When I got it home, not only was it not cleaned, there were unknown stains which were not there on drop off. I tell you, something ain't right here, y'all. I called this morning to see if they did same-day laundry. The lady was very kind on the phone but when I arrived, body language said much different. Crossed arms and not helpful. They wanted to charge me $25 to wash dry and fold about a pound of laundry. I might've been open to it if the customer service was a bit friendlier. I wouldn't come back here and I wouldn't recommend it to anybody. read more

Spoke with a gentleman to see 'IF' blue stain on my cream colored leather jacket could be removed. Called to see if ready. Went to pickup, stain is still there! I had to pay $10 for the stain NOT being removed! I questioned the charge. The lady's excuse was and I quote: "I don't know, I didn't take your order." This is definitely not good customer service! I could not be more pleased with Arnies. Always a smile when you walk in. They say hello to you and could not be more friendly to their clients. I found Arnie's after my cleaner closed. They came recommended from a co=worker, Now virtually our entire office uses them. It's a family owned business and they offer the 20% press pass discount from the Journal. Please do not go here! They completely ruined several of my husband's very expensive shirts and took absolutely no responsibility for it. There were chemical stains all around the collars and down the front of the shirts and they argued with us and said it was our fault, even though the shirts were perfectly fine before taking them to Arnie's. Apparently they see nothing wrong with ruining people's property. Take your clothes somewhere else. read more

BE WARNED! Arnie's Cleaners ruined 8 of my shirts. The shirts have severe color loss due to a chemical they used to clean them. This was confirmed by another cleaner. When I returned to show them the damage they said all my shirts were like that and it wasn't their fault. Not only were they not apologetic, they didn't care at all and proceeded to argue with me, saying it was my shirts that were defective. I had used this cleaner several times in the past and, all of a sudden my shirts became defective? That's weird. You would think I would know if all my shirts had severe color damage. I'm extremely disappointed that these people would treat a loyal customer so poorly. read more

I took my daughter's silk wedding gown and train in to this cleaner.When I picked it up, I was very dissapointed when I took it out and looked at it. The bottom of the dress had not been touched. And there were wrinkle marks where it had been pressed. The bow had not been cleaned on the train and there were strings hanging off where it was sewed and was comming unseemed. I took the dress back and asked to speak with the owner, she was not there. I showed him what was wrong and asked him if they pressed the dress or steamed it, he said it was steamed. The man who helped me said to leave it there and he would have her call me. I said that's fine, but don't clean the dress, just have her call. I had to call and ask to speak to her the next afternoon but she still was not in, and had not made an effort to return my phone call yet. I wanted to make sure the dress was not being cleaned so I asked about it. And the said they did clean it again. I tried a couple of times more to contact her, a employee was very rude when I asked where she was, saying"am I her keeper!, huh lady!". And hung up on me. She called shortly after and said it was ready. The dress was more wrinkled than the first time, I asked her if they pressed or steamed it, she said it was pressed. There was alot of stains they could not get out, and the tack that was holding the the top of the dress together was gone and string's were showing. The owner had no concern for these problems and said they don't give refund's, they just reclean. Of course I will be taking this to court. read more
