I took a dress to Valet I wore to my son's wedding after I noticed that I had spilled something down the front, a huge ugly brownish colored stain on my beautiful lavender dress. Robin called me after two days of trying to remove the stain & explained that she had tried to remove the stain unsuccessfully; however she had one more treatment but it could permanently damage the dress & wanted to advise me first. I told her to go ahead as I could not wear the dress with the stain so prominently showing, which she did & boy, what a great job! The stain is totally removed & the dress is as beautiful as ever! First time customer at Valet Dry Cleaning . We have been to one other dry cleaners and they were great but the location was not convenient for us so I was looking for something closer. When I found Valet I called and asked for pricing, they were nice and answered all my questions. The pricing was cheaper than the other dry cleaners I used. That was a nice surprise. The service was good, not chatty or overly nice but standard service. They asked if I wanted the shirts starched (I was never asked that before) and at what level light or heavy. I asked if it was extra charge (since everything is extra nowadays) they said no extra charge. That was another surprise to me. ‍ They definitely pay attention to detail in the way you receive your clothing back. For the suits they put plastic pieces in the collars, tissue in the sleeves and had card board on the hangers to ensure the suits kept shape. Above and beyond what our last place would do. It felt like our clothes were well taken care of. They looked sharp! For first time experience I have no complaints. I walk past this business every single day sometimes jus on a walk with my dog other times when I'm going to work . I have never taken my clothes there to be laundered. There are two young girls that work who I wave to e very time. These 2 girls wave back to me everything. Not only a wave with their hand but also with th d biggest smiles on there faces. I been in recovery from s drug addiction and have 4 months clean. I just to thank those 2 girls because in a weird way helped me without even knowing stay clean. BEWARE!!! They'll RIP YOU OFF!!!! Half the Cost At Other Dry Cleaners in Albuquerque. It's clear to me this company has been ripping everyone off for years apparently. I took three Suits to them on June 1st 2015, for dry cleaning, thinking they're "Reasonable" like every other dry cleaner - I got charged $34.70 total or $11.59 per Suit, DOUBLE what others charge in town. When you turn in your items, they DO NOT put any price on receipt, in order to take full (Advantage) of a new customer. I have been dry cleaning suits for over 35years, never ever seen this before. When picking up my suits, I try to make a suggestion to the Cashier that they should print Service Price or total on receipt?? Cashier Rudely interrupted me "We Don't Do That Here", so, I asked to see the Manager, explained to her of legal problems with not printing price, she brushed me off Saying " We Just Don't That, it's up to Customer to ask".... Basically listening to me through one ear, while her focus is on other things more important... So, when I picked up my Suits they could have charged me $65 Dollars for them, if they so wish to do so... UNBELIEVABLE!!! DON'T GET RIPPED OFF!!! Horrible, absolutely HORRIBLE!!!! I took 3 items there. The rayon skirt was great, a grey sweater was fine, for the most part, However, I took the my new Vera Wang sweater. When I got home and opened it, there was long grey hairs and nubbies all over it, flecks of all sorts of dander and stuff. SO GROSS. I turned right around and took it back. They tried to make excuses. I informed them that I've worked in a dry cleaners and this hasn't been even close to a machine, wasn't even brushed (as I believe my grey sweater was). They took it back for re cleaning & I picked it up today. It's somewhat better. Still wrinkled along the bottom (shirt portion) and still had lint on it. Which I showed the lady at the counter. I will NEVER go there again nor recommend this place to anyone. EVER. Bad ,very shoddy work!!!! read more

Customer service was excellent but I was very disappointed to discover staple holes in every garment. For whatever reason, they applied their dry cleaning tags with staples directly to my dresses and vests. Some were silk garments leaving noticeable staple holes. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE! Customer service is a basic element that every company should at least try to integrate into their business model. Valet cleaners completely fails to provide even a substandard level of customer service. I brought a few jackets and sport coats to be cleaned, and the cashier was borderline telling me off. In a condescending tone, she explained to me that they don't have a standard price to clean an article of clothing. When I asked what things typically cost, she simply refused to tell me. I took my clothes back and asked to speak with the manager, to which she responded, without even checking to see where the manager was, "she's busy and you can come back later..." What is funny is that I live very far from this particular cleaner and came here based on the 5 star review by another user claiming that they "have always been attentive" to her needs as a customer. After a little closer analysis of that review, and comparison to my own experience, it feels like it was written by a relative of the owner or employee of the company or something. I wasted a trip across town and I feel a bit scammed to be honest. Other yelpers please be aware of fake reviews. Save yourself the aggravation and go to a different dry cleaner. read more
