When I asked for total cost or estimate when I took them in was told she could not give me a price till work was done. When I picked it up was surprised at the total cost for three items. I brought a dress in for alterations and the manager, Huyen (sp), was extremely rude and aggressive last Saturday when I dropped it off and raised his voice multiple times in the interaction because I said I don't know about the number of inches. his tone and aggressive body language made me immediately nervous and at that point, I should not have left my dress there. I went to pick it up about six days later and was told the alterations were over $100 even though I was never quoted that price and would not have paid that price. And when I express this to the manager again, he became irate and aggressive, raising his voice and being extremely rude. I pointed out issues with the alteration where the work looked a bit sloppy, and he was unable to cope with my complaints and grabbed the dress rudely and said he was going to take it upstairs and show him my issues and when I said, I didn't have time that I would just pay for it, he became even more upset. During this time another customer walked in and and the manager was respectful to this make customer. As a female, I would not recommend using Marina's any longer as you will receive abusive and unsatisfactory customer service. I don't mind spending the money when it's quality work and you receive a modicum of respect. i was shaking when I walked out and realized I was actually afraid the manager may have physically attacked me had the other customer not walked in. The owners need to do better and vet their employees better.

I went back to the cleaners Wednesday at 1pm and was told that it wouldn't be in until 6pm. I asked if I could pay for my cleaning and the girl gave me a totally different total than what I was quoted. I asked for the price to be matched to what I was quoted in the first place...totally fair in my opinion. At this point she rolled her eyes at me, began raising her voice and went so far as to mock me. I called management and she told me "That's the price and I can't do anything about it. What do you want me to do? Give it to you for free?" Nope...not what I wanted....just the price that YOUR employee quoted me. It's no wonder the snarky teenager at the front complained about the place being "Slow" when I dropped my stuff off...terrible business practices.
