This one is close to where I live but I have had bad experiences about this laundromat in most instances. Outside of not being able to communicate with the lady working there, some of the dryers and washers are always out of order when I go there. My last visit was a bad one because the dryers I was using had uneven heat. The top was good during the second cycle but the first cycle left my clothes wet. The bottom one was worse because neither of the 2 cycles dried my clothes. I tried to tell the staffer there but she kept twisting my words and refused to hear what I said. I tried talking to the owner about looking into why the heat source was so uneven only to get the same treatment from her. Every time I go there it is that much more expensive. Only reason for my going there is the laundromat on the premises where I live is out of order. read more

I typically wouldn't try the service but I was here for two weeks with the balloon festival and had to do some laundry. My boss recommended this place, $18 and they washed and folded everything in my bag so now I'm packing clean clothes to go home and better yet, I dropped my stuff at 4:00PM on a Saturday and she had it waiting for me on the counter when I arrived less than two hours later. I've said in another review that laundromats can't have more than two stars because one is stuck doing laundry outside of their home sitting around for two hours and no place can make that any better, BUT this place actually makes washing tolerable. This is on Central a few blocks east of Carlisle, so it's not too far from home for me, and I can do three loads of laundry for under $10---pretty nice. What's really nice about this place is that there is a flat-screen tv and if you go on a Sunday you can watch some football. Also, unlike other places I've been, the AC here is usually pumping and works well. Finally, there are an abundance of machines here for washing and drying and they vary between massive industrial-style machines and small homestyle varieties, thus accommodating any type of wash and dry. Another bonus is that a few blocks walk can take one to either Tractor or Kelly's to the west or O'Neill's to the east, hence allowing for some boozing while the machines work their magic. read more

I use this spot quite frequently. Some tips: make sure to double check your stuff before you leave. The last I bring my one bag of dirty clothing and end up leaving with 2 bags. My folded stuff and they will hang my shirts on hangers. I usually drop things off on a weekday and can usually get my stuff back the same day. They charge extra for blankets and rugs. Overall, I like their service. I have never lost clothing, everything is neatly folded, and the staff are very polite. They are available for wash and fold during this period of social distancing. read more

I visited this laundromat after reading reviews on Yelp and probably had higher expectations than I should; overall my experience was mixed. Let's start with the good stuff. Options, size and affordability. Those always sound great - especially in the same sentence. EZ Wash offers this. I was blown away at being able to wash all of my clothes in one GIANT washer for $8. On top of that....it took only 16 minutes! What a time saver. There are a wide variety of washers and price points, which is nice when you're doing mixed item bulk loads of wash. The staff was also super helpful and accommodating. The person working their happily made change for me, held the door open, and didn't rush me out at closing when my clothes were just a few minutes away from being done. Now the tough part. I would not recommend going here after dark, or even close to dark for that matter. I simply don't think it's safe. Upon entering, my friend and I were harassed by 2 men sitting outside the facility. They crossed the parking to approach us, got into our personal space and then harassed us for not wanting them to carry our things (I have my own muscles - thank you!). One of the men continued to come in and out while we were there despite not doing any laundry. I fundamentally felt unsafe and on edge. I'm not sure if this is a regular occurrence but I surely won't be going in the evening any more. Lesson learned. I look forward to visiting my 16 minute washer again - first thing in the morning! read more

I've used the wash and fold service ~5 times so far with mixed results. I'll start with the positives. The price is fair (I think it's $1 a pound), especially given how much time it saves me. The first two times my laundry was nearly perfect: everything was folded nicely and despite the overbearing fabric softener odor, my clothes seemed well taken care of. Now for the bad. The third time I came to pick my stuff up, it wasn't ready, so they asked me to come back in an hour or so - no biggie for me. However, once it was ready, I found that my socks had shrunk enough that they'd easily fit an infant and one of my favorite tops had also shrunk. This was disappointing, but I've done the same thing myself, so I made sure not to include anything delicate in the last two loads. I can deal with my socks shrinking, but some items in the load I picked up today were melted... I'm not sure if they were dried at a really high temperature to make sure they were ready on time or if the items in question were placed in a pile and dried on the press. Regardless, I'd be fine waiting to pick my stuff up if it meant that my clothes would be taken care of. Tl;dr: okay service for items that you can easily replace/aren't attached to, such as socks and maybe, towels, but that's about it. read more

Please note, the name on the sign is Speed Queen Laundromat and when I asked the attendant to write down the name and address, she called is EZ Wash. I used the coin machines here and was completely satisfied. A double load is $1.25, which is a steal. (Once you start going up in size the price scales in a baffling manner, though.) They also have complimentary wifi and tables to sit at as well as fold clothes. The place was surprisingly roomy and well-staffed for a cheap-o laundromat. When the machine didn't seem to be starting, someone helped me right away with a smile. Great place, would wash again. read more

This place is AWESOME! Lots of machines, reasonably priced, clean and quiet, flat screen TVs, ATM and change machines--and the machines take cards as well as quarters--and parking in front, back, and street. In and out in no time flat. We used the industrial sized machine to wash two enormous items. They came out perfectly clean and fresh. Nob Hill area, right on Central at Aliso.
