What should have been a straightforward key fob addition to our new-to-us 2022 Lexus RX350 turned…read moreinto a challenge. Eithan arrived on time and went right to work on a task he has performed many times before. Felt like a quick service call and task completion. However, the aftermarket key fob he has used many times before would not be accepted by the vehicle. Eithan tried every trick and method to get the fob paired to the car but to no avail. He then recommended a different fob model that should work but had to be ordered. Returning the next day with the new fob model he dived into the task. The car was not happy and rejected that device as well..... That left going the OEM route which is really rare. Turns out the 2022 RX350 requires a specific part/sub part model which was successfully ordered. With the OEM part in hand (the next day!), he not only started the pairing programming task but called a Lexus dealership to confirm the unique part number required. This took all of 20 minutes and there was a "jump for joy" when we had a working second key. Thanks, Eithan, for sticking with the challenge and educating along the way.

After doing some troubleshooting, the new locksmith was able to not only fix our ECU that Eithaan crashed, but he also made a spare and got our original fob working. The car is now able to turn on. We were informed that Ace Lock & Key was formerly known as KC Locksmith. Eithan is apparently known for messing up lock mechanisms & not working well under pressure when things don't go as planned. He makes the REAL locksmiths a lot of money in the area... STAY AWAY Update: he tells my boyfriend that he saw the review and he will only fix the car if the review is removed. Yeah no, people need to know how you are as a business owner. He was told to leave. Thanks for breaking something that was never broken!! Now our car doesn't even start and we have an actual issue to solve. We needed an extra key fob for our car, Eithan came out and began the process. While trying to program the second key, he tells my boyfriend his original key he uses everyday on his DAILY CAR doesn't work for the car. How does it not work when we use that key every single day? He tore our key slot off and then starts cursing telling my boyfriend to "shut the f up & listen because you're brain dead" then he proceeds to call my car a POS, and that it's not his fault it broke. He also told my boyfriend "I can leave and you can F off" the key was never broken. I do not recommend this guy- he is rude & can't do his job correctly or professionally.
