This was third visit in the last year, vacationing in the area from California. Last year we stopped by the coffee shop and this year's trip was to visit the brewery. Outstanding as expected, we got to meet with the owner Mike while at the Brewery, very friendly and accommodating. Only one small hiccup at the coffee shop, mixup on my food order which was corrected after some discussion. Highly recommend and will stop by again. read more

Armor coffee branding is very on point. I love the interior and it felt like a place where I would like to study or meet up with a friend. It's aesthetically very beautiful. I ordered an iced honey vanilla latte. It was way too sweet. I waited for all the ice to melt and it was still too sweet. I filled a 16oz glass with ice and poured my coffee with melted ice into the glass. It was finally a good sweetness. We also ordered the jalapeño kolaches and a blueberry scone, which were forgotten by our cashier. But, someone else was quick to grab it for us when we asked. We probably won't be back because it's just so far from us, but would love to give it another chance if we're ever in the area. read more

Easily, my favorite go-to coffee shop among Mckinney / Allen area. They offer so many options, both healthy or fun. I usually go for a cold brew with oat milk and SF vanilla. They also have my favorite iced chai I have found, to date. If you want something absolutely delicious - they make an in-house McDonald's "McGriddle" mock except with quality ingredients. I'm a coffee snob and Armor has never let me down. Great coffee even if you take it black with no sweeteners. The lattes are amazing with caramel coast being my favorite. And the food....wow! I'm always shocked that a little coffee shop has such great breakfast items. These aren't your microwaved sandwiches from Starbucks. The griddle cake is a legit great breakfast sandwich. The waffles are great as well. Someone put some serious effort into coming up with the menu and flavors. Service has always been top-notch - even for someone who uses the drive through more than the inside of the coffee shop. My wife and I have made Armor part of our daily routine. But what I'm really here to shout about is their food menu! This is such a beautiful salmon toast unlike any I've ever had at a restaurant, let alone a drive through coffee place. Today I had the great joy of trying the seasonal Honey's toffee latte, and it may be some of the best coffee I have ever had. It is definitely sweeter so if you like sweet coffee like me its fabulous, and if you are not as into sweet, it is still spectacular ordered half sweet. The staff as usual are so kind and helpful and speedy, and also just like usual the atmosphere is phenomenal for either meeting up with a friend to chat or to study for hours like me. The food is delicious but the service and management suck. I waited and waited while I watched 2 what appeared to be managers (saw their name tags and one said Gabby and Maddie I think?) Sitting down doing nothing and eating fast food while lines formed and we got no help. I also saw this poor woman doing the entire thing alone. I talked to a batista about my experience and they told me that the managers regularly do that and leave others to do the job themselves because they are best friends. How awful is that? After making a trip to Greenville for a 30th birthday party, we decided we should go out of our way to go to Armor Coffee. We enjoy keeping up Jenn Todryk and her family on Instagram and were happy to supported their business. They have a great selection of drinks and food (hot items and pastries). My group ordered the cookie butter latte (2 hot and 1 iced) and it was delicious. I appreciated that it was a different flavor that I hadn't had before. We also got several breakfast tacos which were fresh and full of flavor. Lastly, I ordered a iced pumpkin loaf for the road. I couldn't help but take a bite. It was absolutely delicious!!! 10/10 will come back if I'm ever in the area again. Would love to try Armor Brewery next! read more

This is the closest coffee shop to my work so I stop by here every so often. Every single time I've had to wait in line, I've waited at a minimum 10 minutes for a coffee and a pastry. Absolutely ridiculous why it should ever take this long for a coffee shop to complete a very simple order. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt because it is in the morning when things are busy. Unfortunately this horrendous establishment doesn't deserve sympathy of any because when I went at 1:00 pm I waited even longer than 10 minutes for one care to move. I have never been to this putrid establishment without having to wait. On top of that once I make my way to the window none of the employees are apologetic for the insane wait time. I wanted to give this place another chance especially because it's so close to my work so I decided to go inside. I chose wrong, this place is inefficient and again I waited an unreasonable amount. To wrap everything up every coffee I've had from here is watered down. At this point I will make coffee in the break room and I will definitely never recommend this place to anyone. read more

They had a free table in a small room that they will only let you sit in if you pay $20. No one had it reserved and we were going to be there all of 20-30 minutes tops.
