I stopped here on a recent road trip looking for a non-chain coffee fix. I saw the good reviews and decided to stop. The interior was clean and bright, and I liked all the merch and beans they had available. I talked to guy in line who seemed very enthusiastic about the coffee shop and gave his recommendations on what we should get and what his usual items are. He was really helpful and welcoming. The person working the counter was not nearly as enthusiastic about us being there and seemed annoyed by questions about popular bagged beans. It sounds like that isn't the norm based on others reviews, so maybe just an off day. We ended up with a couple of drinks and a couple bags of beans. The cookie butter latte was decent, it was lacking flavor and had chunks of cinnamon that overpowered the cookie butter taste. When I found out we would be visiting the Dallas area I told my husband "we HAVE to stop by Jenn Todryk's coffee shop!" And I'm so glad we did. Although I was bummed they were out of nitro coffee, I was very glad we were able to try some of their breakfast tacos and waffles. They were delicious! The waffles were crunchy and seemed to have a caramelized glaze on them. So. Good. The tacos were my favorite though! The cookie butter latte I had was just okay... but like I said I would have much rather tried their nitro. Overall, super grateful we got to stop by and sample so many things from their menu. The turkey bacon avocado sandwich was so tasty I got it with croissants instead of sourdough bread and it added a flaky texture it was so good. I've been to this coffee shop numerous times... sometimes it's great, other times. Price is on the high end, and I've seen value before, but it's not consistent. Love their coffee! The coffee is brewed perfectly and not sure what kind of coffee bean they use. But I very much enjoy the nutty, mild, and sweet flavor. I enjoyed my morning coffee here. Their dining area is small with a small private room in the back. But as soon as arrived here around 9:30 am. The inside was packed with people. They also have 4 outdoor tables, but it's a little loud since it is so close to the freeway. The only reason why I am deducting a star is their food. Not too many pastry options like at other coffee shops and the things they offered on their pastry display did not look very appetizing. But I was so hungry and ordered their ham and cheese croissant (a very safe option!). But I was so wrong. As soon as I had my first bite of it. The bread tasted stale and dry. How is that possible with a croissant? But then I gave it another try as I hadn't tasted the ham or cheese but that was the biggest mistake because as soon as I took another bite. I tasted something very unpleasant. It tasted almost like they washed the ham in soap water. I just could not take another bite and had to throw it away. I will come back for their coffee but their food options are a "meh". read more

I'm not a coffee snob, but I will say Armor makes an incredible tasting cup of coffee. Staff is friendly and service is quick. The only downside is that they are veteran-owned yet have anti-gun signs posted by the front door. Allen has a lot of Democrats unfortunately, so this useless sign isn't really a surprise, but to showcase your being owned/operated by vets you'd think they would know better than to be against American rights and understand their importance. Like I said, very good coffee, but disappointing to see anti-American signage from vets edit: all women staff, VERY busy talking to each other and can't seem to interact with customers well. Saying "Thank you!" gets a turned back and more talking amongst themselves. Love the coffee, but they definitely remove the expectation for a tip. read more

Really good coffee! The menu is great and full of food items and different types of coffee flavors. They had vegan and vegetarian options for most foods and ample seating. The service was fast and the coffee is local and strong. I had a lavender oat milk iced latte with an extra shot. It was great. We also ordered a matcha oat milk latte it was average. But when I went in to pick it up, 5 people were working and chit-chatting with one another, and there was no acknowledgment or even a hello. There were FLIES EVERYWHERE!!! And the employees acted like it was normal?? Like a normal Tuesday?! The place was extremely packed and many people there were occupying more than one seat and had little to no food which blocked those who wanted to eat/ sit.
