I stopped here on the way to McKinney and was extremely satisfied with my choice. Village Coffee is in a convenient location, right off of 75 and close to many shops. It was a Saturday morning; the coffee shop was crowded, but still had seats available. I got the toasted pecan latte and it was delicious! I only sat for a few minutes before heading out, but the couch area was so cute. I will definitely visit every time I am going to Allen Outlets! read more

The coffee was pretty good and well priced. the worker was nice but she informed me that i couldn't get a pretzel because their kitchen closes at 4. i ordered at 4:02. it was a little upsetting because i drove out of my way there for a pretzel, but it's all good. i wish they would advertise that on their website because i would've liked to know that so i could've planned ahead. especially since their website says "full menu available all day" (as linked below). read more

I love the cookie butter latte and the food is incredible, but the customer service is severely lacking. There were two ladies in front of us taking a moment to order because it was obviously their first time at Armor Coffee. It was no problem to me, but the cashier literally threw her head back and rolled her eyes at them. She asked if I wanted to skip in front of them if I was ready and I told her I would wait. When it was our turn to order we asked her what came on the taco bowl. She looked at us and said "ok well I guess I will read it off the menu for you." If it was on the menu we wouldn't have asked. She proceeded to look at the menu and realize it didn't say. She then guessed at what was on it. I understand some places are understaffed, but there just isn't any excuse for that behavior. I have never seen someone be so blatantly rude to anyone, much less customers. read more

Food and drink are great! However, they are ridiculous about accommodating customers. You have 2 ppl taking up a 10 top table, every other table inside on a chilly day was occupied. They had a free table in a small room that they will only let you sit in if you pay $20. No one had it reserved and we were going to be there all of 20-30 minutes tops. If they placed the customer first they would really have a special spot here in Fairview. read more

The location is convenient. The seating area is large and pleasant. The staff is friendly. They have snack options as well as coffee. A sign says Village is getting ready to change its name to Armor. They use a Columbian bean for espresso which is not generally a good choice for espresso. They only have a medium roast option for espresso. It was meh. I also had their their dark roast drip. It was definitely on the lighter side of the dark roast spectrum. But the coffee was good, and pretty close to fresh from a bean perspective. While we were there many patrons came in. And they have a drive through which makes it very convenient. read more

Nestled between a bunch of chain restaurants and stores, it's refreshing to have a small business like Armor Coffee in this part of Allen. Black coffee was nutty and flavorful, and the Leige Waffle was filling for a quick breakfast. Surprised to see that there was a drive-thru (not many small coffee shops have that around here) and the inside has ample seating. Very cute decor! read more

The food is delicious but the service and management suck. I waited and waited while I watched 2 what appeared to be managers (saw their name tags and one said Gabby and Maddie I think?) Sitting down doing nothing and eating fast food while lines formed and we got no help. I also saw this poor woman doing the entire thing alone. I talked to a batista about my experience and they told me that the managers regularly do that and leave others to do the job themselves because they are best friends. How awful is that? Today I had the great joy of trying the seasonal Honey's toffee latte, and it may be some of the best coffee I have ever had. It is definitely sweeter so if you like sweet coffee like me its fabulous, and if you are not as into sweet, it is still spectacular ordered half sweet. The staff as usual are so kind and helpful and speedy, and also just like usual the atmosphere is phenomenal for either meeting up with a friend to chat or to study for hours like me. I was visiting town and saw this was located across my hotel. I walked in at the crack of dawn (6-7am) and was instantly greeted with smiling faces. I ordered an egg white behind and a nitro cold brew off their easy to read menu. Coffee was a bit watered down, but the buscuit was super good. I went by on a recent Tuesday and noticed the staff started cleaning up and turning things off behind the bar a little over 30mins before close (per their door sign and online) A few customers came and it appeared they were unable to order what they came in for. My recommendation to you as a business owner is to set clear expectations with customers and potential customers. If you state you are open until 7:30 then have your business fully opened until then. Not only could you lose customers and profit like this situation, who knows what those customers experience and recommendation to other friends or co workers. I absolutely love this shop! My go to is a hot latte with oat milk, and it never disappoints! Some of there food items are good, I personally love avocado toast from here and their vegetarian tacos. We had high hopes for this coffee shop but we won't be coming back. I would like to mention that the place is well kept, very clean, and the drinks came out really fast. The biggest issue was that everyone working went to the back after making our drinks and pretty much stayed back there for the last 45 minutes before close. They forgot to toast my bagel, which was no big deal, but I went back up to the counter and stood there for about 5 minutes waiting for someone to come out. I heard giggling in the back so I just knocked on the employee door a couple times and eventually got an answer. In our opinion, the drinks were really bad. We ordered 2 hot chocolates, a pumpkin spice latte, and a cookie butter latte and we all felt they were bland. Of course, this was just our opinion and other people may like them. Overall, we didn't have a great experience but I was really impressed with how well maintained the shop was. Even the counters and floors in the back seemed clean! read more

The service is always friendly and pretty quick, and it is a good environment to work (although can be hard to find a seat - usually pretty busy!). This is the closest coffee shop to my work so I stop by here every so often. Every single time I've had to wait in line, I've waited at a minimum 10 minutes for a coffee and a pastry. Absolutely ridiculous why it should ever take this long for a coffee shop to complete a very simple order. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt because it is in the morning when things are busy. Unfortunately this horrendous establishment doesn't deserve sympathy of any because when I went at 1:00 pm I waited even longer than 10 minutes for one care to move. I have never been to this putrid establishment without having to wait. On top of that once I make my way to the window none of the employees are apologetic for the insane wait time. I wanted to give this place another chance especially because it's so close to my work so I decided to go inside. I chose wrong, this place is inefficient and again I waited an unreasonable amount. To wrap everything up every coffee I've had from here is watered down. At this point I will make coffee in the break room and I will definitely never recommend this place to anyone. read more

I always get a lavender latte when I come here, and it turns out great every time. The pastries here are very nice, in addition to the coffee. The staff are all very friendly. Notably, one of the barista's, Makenzie always makes great conversation with me when I sit up at the bar inside.
