Our favorite store for WINE when we want a quick trip. I cannot remember the lady's name that works your front counter but she is amazing. She's so chatty and personable with customers. I wish I could have caught her name and I feel terrible I haven't asked but all I know is that she has tattoos, short, dark hair and just so smiley! She makes the trip worth it ! 2/12/24: My wife and I happened to be in the area when we saw this store. We met Brandon, who was very friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable. We browsed the store and there is a very nice selection of liquor. The store was very clean. After talking with Brandon about my drink preferences, he offered us a sample of Boston Harbor Distillery Maple Cream. My wife is a coffee drinker and she really liked it. We bought a bottle, and I put my name down on a wait list for a couple of hard to find bottles of bourbon. We had a great shopping experience and will definitely visit again. read more

We stopped by the Liquor Outpost at 8:57 on a Thursday night. We came for the same tequila we always get so 30seconds would have been sufficient. However the second we entered the door the lady behind the counter blasted and barked you have one minute with no further greeting given. This energy was addressed and she chose to engage in a power trip and claimed she was the owner and it was her store so she didn't have to serve us. We offered to forget the issue and purchase our item and leave but she refused to sell and locked up the store before 9. Do not support this store. Too many options around McKinney to tolerate rude behavior. read more

My friend and I were just kicked out of the store for no reason. We walked in & the lady at the front yelled at us and told us to hurry up and then we asked her why she was yelling & she told us to leave & that she wasn't selling, she said she was the owner. I'm not sure if this was racial discrimination or what. I wouldn't purchase alcohol here unless you want treatment like this. My friend and I couldn't belive it. read more

Friendly staff, solid selection of spirits. There was a rep in the store when I visited and so I was able to sample a locally made vodka and I liked it so much I bought it...I actually hate the taste of all alcohol, but I liked it as much as someone like myself could. The store is clean and well laid out so items are easy to find. Service was quick and even other patrons were friendly. Give them a whirl. read more

Buyer beware this place is the one of the only liquor stores that will not take returns. But something as a gift yesterday and needed to return it today and got told to go packing. Go to Total Wine For better pricing and better customer service. This place sucks! Update: Total Wine took back what I bought at Liquor Outpost no questions asked. Also, they were $42.00 a bottle cheaper! This place overcharges and has ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. POS!!! read more

Pretty good selection of whiskeys and bourbons. Prices were fair as well. Didn't venture past the whiskey aisle but walked away with 3 bottles for a very reasonable amount. read more

Overpriced!! Everything is marked up a lot! Bottle of Casamigos Resposado costs $42 at every other liquor store. It's $70 something here. Weird staff as well! Not friendly and don't talk just watch you. read more

I went into this store with a face mask & clear eye protection; after entering I asked if this was enough; they were offended; maybe it was me, how I said it?, but the cashier was totally offended, and asked me to leave. They asked me to put a mask on even though I have a health condition that prevents me from wearing one. Nothing contagious or in the "list" of things that are a concern. He was extremely rude and tried to talk under his breath. A city ordinance doesn't out weight my Federal Rights. I will be looking into taking further action. read more

I am so grateful to had pulled up to this liquor store the other day. My boyfriend was having a bad day so I went to Walmart, picked up his favorite food and drove to The Liquor Outpost to get us a bottle of wine. When I got there I wasn't familiar with the store at all. It was my first time there. But the gentleman in the front lead me to the aisle with Moscato and told me the most popular, yet affordable one bought by customers. I proceeded to check out and leave. Me and my boyfriend ate and drank a glass of wine at home and I absolutely loved it, so much that we left to go get some more before we continued drinking! When we pulled up to the store for a second time I realized my tire had popped on the way. I went inside because I didn't have a reliable jack and asked the two men and they(without hesitation) went to their vehicle and pulled out their jack. Not only did they "loan" us a jack but they both completely changed my tire. When I went inside I ended up spending a little more money towards the company because of the good experience I had. Absolutely horrible customer service and rude staff. No greeting. They have a giant sign taped on the counter. I was checking out a $60 item and starting to read sign and she said "we are not taking cash." I said oh, I am reading the sign. I don't have cash." She said "no one reads the sign " I said, "why not? Why wouldn't they?" She started screaming at me and telling me to shop somewhere else. And the some guy comes over and points at the door. I will gladly shop somewhere else. They obviously are on some kind of power trip and think they are more important than the customers. read more

Made a purchase, got home and realized it was the wrong item. Called and Asked if I could return, they said no returns. (called 20 mins after purchase) Spent well over $100 and got zero help when I was in a bind. Drive the extra 5 mins to specs, get better service, more and way cheaper options. read more

Well, I usually go to Liquor King to purchase alcohol, but today I was closer to this place and decided to give it a try. The selection was pretty good and I had no problems easily finding the things I needed. The store was bright, fully stocked, and prices were comparable to Liquor King. I gave two stars because the store clerk was super rude. I asked questions about the mini bottles and she acted as if I were bothering her and she wanted to rush me along even though I was the only person in the store at the time. I may give it another try if I'm out and it's closer, but other than that I'll go back to Liquor King the service there is always amazing. read more

One night I was shopping before the place closed, mind you I was wearing a suit pulled in a 130k car, (I only say this to make a point). I was picking out my last item when the worker Walked to the door stared me down, while having his hand on his GUN!!! In short he was watching me in a threatens manner. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not a weak man, I am a gun advocate and I'm not apart of this get easily offended culture. But this was over the top!!! We're in Allen Texas. This is not south dallas. Is this how you want to treat your customers. I own several businesses in town. Was given a key to the city In McKInney. I have a masters degree, you need to eyeball me down with your hand on your gun!!!!! I would like to think this behavior had nothing to do with the fact that I'm African American. I hope this guy is an equal opportunity jerk. But to treat paying customers this way send a very wrong message. I would rather pay more and be treated with respect than to dawn the doors of this establishment. read more
