Japanese Whisky Hunt! Requested on the Christmas list - Hibiki is not an easy find. Thank goodness I live in a diverse community and have enjoyed exploring shops that are built for people from different cultures but so welcoming of all cultures. Found this gem that had exactly what we were looking for - plus my next gift adventure. The shop keeper was very helpful in educating us on the drink and advising how this drink is hard to get in. When the receiver found out that I'd found it - they uber-ed to my house to ensure they could enjoy this drink. I was happy with my purchase and know I will be back for the great customer service, local charm and great selection. read more

Most overpriced liquor store I've stopped by in a long time. I understand whiskey is cool and hard-to-get whiskeys are a big deal these days, but there are two kinds of stores: the ones that sell for retail or just above, where scoring a hard-to-get whiskey is a joy; and the ones that price gouge and literally charge several times retail prices for these whiskeys. This store is the latter - the store that caters to the high rollers. This particular shop was even worse because their other prices were also rip-offs. Only reason it's not a 1-star review is service was attentive and fairly friendly. But decent service doesn't make up for terrible pricing. I will not be back. read more

Overpriced liquor and an exceptionally rude owner who cares more about their parking spaces than their customers. You're better off purchasing Asian liquor from H-Mart or 99 Ranch. I'm guessing business is slow because they're always looking at their parking space from within the store. I parked there, hopped over to sweet hut next door for some bread, and I wanted to visit the liquor store afterwards. Well lo and behold I find a creepy old lady hovering over my car with a cigarette. Doesn't matter how good their liquor selection is if this is how they treat possible customers. read more

We go to the pharmacy next door and to Woof and noticed they just opened. We walked in to check it out. The owners were extremely friendly and welcoming. They are knowledgable and fun to talk to. The prices are great. Just from what I noticed, prices are probably better than Specs. Despite the size of their store, they have a really great selection of items. The owners said they could special order stuff for us if we wanted anything they don't have. Awesome! I'll definitely be back. read more

Probably the only place that has sweet flavor soju. Came in to find the owner very rude probably because I'm Asian. He said he had what I was looking for but didn't bother help me find it. He merely pointed towards the back of the second aisle of the store while he was checking out where I was parking. I guess they care more about their parking spot than their customers. Anyways, I will only come back if necessary but other than that, you won't find me here. read more

Great selection but the little old lady that could barely move followed me around the store and watched my every move as if I was planning to smuggle some bottles out in my gym clothes. I still spend 90 dollars to stock my bar but rest assure I will be taking my business elsewhere from here on out. read more

For my 200th review I bring to you Liquor Park! Family owned small business with a knowledgable and extremely friendly staff. When we first came here we noticed their prices were very low. Since then it seems Specs and the other competitors in the area have driven there prices lower to compete. I would gladly spend a little more to support a local small business however, especially since the service here is very personal and the manager can order just about anything you want and in a timely manner. The owner talked to us for about 15 minutes and he has a background in the alcohol sourcing industry so he has great connections. If they don't have it on the shelf chances are he can get it for you. They carry everything from cheap Taka to expensive top shelf Yamasaki Whiskey. I highly recommend Liquor Park! read more

The owner is terrible. Clearly a drunk. Stopped in front of the store to take a picture to send to my roommate to show him we have a new liquor store close to our house. Was pretty excited till the owner harassed me for being in front of the customer parking. (Not a car in sight). While I was taking a picture I noticed she had gotten her phone out and was taking a picture back at me. (I'm guessing she was mocking me thinking I was videoing her or something). So I rolled my window down and asked her what she's doing and explained what I was doing when she told me I'm "blocking customer parking". This would have been understanding had there had been a car in sight. Which there was not. No clue what she was thinking but she's a nut ball. I love Saki, but I have the least bit if knowledge about which brands or the names of the ones I enjoy. I explained this to the gentleman at Liquor Park at Coit & Park Blvd in Plano. he suggested which ones I would prefer. AND, he was absolutely correct. They were both identical to the ones I liked.
