Used to be a respectable store. They had fair prices on all their products including store picks and allocated bourbons if you could get there in time. It's become one of the hole-in-the-wall stores where you won't get anything close to retails unless you're one of their favorites. And if you aren't a regular and ask for allocated bottle then get ready to spend over 300$ just to be able to buy it at retail or close to. Spent a lot of money there but they must have changed management because now it's just another who knows who type of place. Save your time and money if you're just buying something available all the time. Stick to total wine or specs. read more

Great family owned liquor store. It's literally packed floor to ceiling with options - it's actually a little tough to walk around! But you'll find fun options here so this is one place I'll keep coming back to. read more

So glad I live closer to Empire. Always great selections and special Bourbon to choose from. Bobby always takes care of his customers! read more

They did not stock my Wine of preference. I purchase a couple of bottles a week. The owner asked me what I wanted and got my email and telephone number. They now stock the Bartenura Provincia di Pavia Moscato and keep a few bottles in the cooler. This is a highly rated Moscato at a very reasonable price. (VIVINO 4.3 rating for the 2014) I will return and make regular purchases. read more

Great craft beer and bourbon selection + friendly/knowledgeable people = my new bottle shop in Plano. Awesome!

Empire Liquor is one of the best places to find bourbon and craft beer. The selection is great and prices are too. They get better store pick bourbons than the big box stores. Great ownership and staff. You have to check it out. read more

This is a mom and pop liquor store it seems like with a convenience store attached to the liquor store. The guy that works here is really nice, and he even let me sample a few of the TX vodkas. It's a smaller store, but the prices are decent. read more

Been a customer of Empire Liquor since they opened at their original location on Parker & Alma. The owner & his wife are great people. They have worked hard to build their business & have been successful enough to open a 2nd location in Allen. Their inventory at this location is MASSIVE & if you have trouble finding something, the staff is always quick to help. read more

Decent pricing if you ignore the fact that most bottles are placed strategically over the price for the smaller bottle, and you don't recognize this until you're at the counter and the price appears on the register. read more

First time to visit. This is a great liquor store, with smiling, friendly and attentive customer service. Was having difficulty locating a particular bottle of liquor. Low and behold, they carried and I purchased. Asked about another bottle. Said to let them know and they would order for me. What a great place. This will be my go to store for adult beverage repleneshment. read more

You'll experience the same level of excellent, and family like customer service. read more

Bobby was extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgable. We just moved here from California and he took the time to explain more about the brewery's in Texas and which beers he personally recommended to my boyfriend. He also recommended really good ciders for myself! All in all, a great experience and we will be back for sure! read more

Friendly staff and owner. Great selection of beer and liquor. Customer service is great too!

Awesome selection of IPA, local branded vodka (piney woods blueberry!) they also stock the essentials/usuals but the rare stuff is a cool and unexpected touch. Super friendly and prompt service. In short: good selection, clean store, friendly staff. 5 stars coming from Richardson! We will be back. read more

This place feels like Cheers .... Every time I walk in, I am greeted by my first name and Bobby, the owner, is the most personable and relatable guy. You want it... They either have it... Or will get it for you! They have an incredibly large selection of many types of craft beer, are always fully if not overstocked to have what ever you are looking for. Empire is continually having sales, and on Saturdays they host sample tastings of new and often local liquors and beers. I have never been disappointed, and it makes me always want to go back read more

Pretty good selection for the relatively small size of the store (liquor is on one side and beer is in another shop front next door). Owner was extremely friendly and since she didn't recognize me made sure to welcome me to the neighborhood. read more

Bobby and his wife Shova are owners. They moved from their smaller store on Alma and Parker to expand their store on Alma and Spring Creek. WOW...I've never seen such a selection of beer, wine, liquor, everything. I think they have like 4/5 different flavors of just Baileys...so you can imagine what other liquors they have... They always have a big smile and are very accommodating. They are great and have worked hard to make a success of their store. I wish them all the luck in the world and will continue to shop there! read more
