I called the store just after 10am 1/30/26 to advise that my wife and I would not be attending a class the following day. My intent was to release the seats to other customers. I had the misfortune that Ashely answered the phone. She wasn't paying attention to what I was saying, constantly referred me to call Customer Service, and lied to me about a specific employee whom I asked if she was working was there. Ashley told me to check back after 4pm, supposedly because the three employees that I inquired about by name were not there. She was condescending, rude, and not a good representative for the company. I've shopped at this store for years, and this was my first rude and unprofessional encounter. Ashley frustrated me to the point that I decided to drive over to the store to speak with a manager. As soon as I walked in the store, I saw one of the employees who Ashley said wasn't there. I requested to speak to Ray, store manager. He walked towards me and said that he had seen me several times before. I expressed my concerns regarding Ashley, and he said that he would take care of it. Ray gave me his business card, and asked that I reach out to him if something like this happened again, to avoid me having to drive to the store. There is always someone asking if they can help you find something. The selection here is amazing. I will never forget the first time I went into a Total Wine. HUGE seleciton and very good prices. There are MANY places in DFW to purchase liquor. I will now find a different one. When you have many choices for the same product, you make yourself stand out with CUSTOMER SERVICE. The staff on the floor is just ok. The last two times I was there, only one register was open, with the same cashier. Last time I excused her attitude as a bad day. I went to this total wine for the first time. It's located in plano close to the mall. I liked it very much! Smaller than the frisco location but had everything the Frisco location has. Samples of awesome wines on Saturday. Samples of different liquors and lots of staff helping you decide what to get! I went straight to the scotch section and bought two of my favorites. Very reasonable prices. No lines at the cash registers (unlike the Frisco location on a Saturday) so I was able to go in and buy what I wanted and leave. Lots of parking spots available and very close to the store so not a lot of walking lol. read more

My 21 year old daughter went to this store to buy some stuff ( who happens to be 1 month away from being a registered nurse). She was with my 13 year old daughter who was along for the ride. State law says that as long as a minor is with an adult they are allowed in the store. This store literally harassed both my kids while they were shopping the entire. She needed help finding something but rather than helping her, the clerk continued to harass her regarding her age. My favorite beer/liquor store in Dallas area. They always have everything I am looking for and I always find new things to try. The store is conveniently setup in order. Sometimes the brand names are in alphabetical order as well, which makes it even easier to find those rare things. I often order kegs, which is real easy. You can call or show up to order whatever you want and they will have it in 3-7 days for pickup. I always worry they are going to forget me, but it hasn't happen yet. They don't even need a deposit for preorder. You just show up and go in the back to grab your keg yourself. I wish they had a computer directory in the store, so you could see if they have what you are looking for and where it should be. That would be cool, but I am sure they want you to shop around. I just hate fighting traffic and construction zones to get here. It is never easy on/off the highway. read more

Extremely clean and organized environment. I had a pickup order and the process was so easy and convenient. All the workers were extremely friendly and welcoming right when you walk in. Pros: Decent website, good selection of products. Cons: Site doesn't alert you if same-day delivery is fully booked for the day... it just keeps saying to add $99 worth of product to the cart. It isn't until you check out that you find out same-day delivery isn't available. I received an email at 5:45am, about 3 hours before my delivery was scheduled (the following day), saying they canceled two of my items. Just so happened those were the two I really wanted. There is no way to contact customer service because it's too early and no way to cancel the order online at all. To add insult to injury, I added 6 bottles of wine to my cart to get their "pick 6" discount, but with the deletions I lost the discount AND ENDED UP PAYING MORE FOR FEWER BOTTLES OF WINE! How is this possible? This was my first order with them... and my last. read more

Richard was on the floor supporting clients and he made what would have been a 2+ hour challenge into a 20 minute treat. I was looking for a flash drive for my computer and walked in here thinking it was CompUSA. Just kidding, how can you not realize this is a wine store? Seriously, it's basically the Walmart of wine. They've got everything - from whites to reds to pink to... well, that's all the colors I can think of. I'm not much of a wino as I'm allergic to alcohol and must be careful what and how much I drink. But the wife has developed a shine to Moscato. So we found a good wine at a restaurant and instead of paying them $9 a glass, we could get a whole bottle for $9! What a deal! We walked in and there are bottles of everything everywhere. I'm a bit overwhelmed and ask the lady behind the counter where to find the moscato. She directs me perfectly to them and we begin looking. I'm not sure how they're arranged, it wasn't alphabetically by name but we stumbled upon what we were looking for. We walked up to the front to check out and the clerk asked me how old I was. "I'm forty-one" The clerk then looks at The Wife The Wife "He really is." Clerk "Oh, surprising." We tried multiple times to reach out to the other location but they never got back to us. So we moved on. Luckily for us, we met Lisa Benson at this location! She was accommodating and knowledgeable as well as empathetic toward the bad experience we had at the other Total Wine location. She helped us pick out our wines and made the process so smooth and stress free. My boyfriend went into this store this morning for the first time ever. it's a big store so it's hard to find things, especially for your first time. that's fine, but when he went to go ask for help on 1 particular bottle the staff was very rude about it. they talked to him like he was stupid and like he was bothering them for even asking. he didn't even get walked to the section or anything. they just said the general location instead of actually helping. if you can't help someone the right way without an attitude and putting people down then get a different job because that's ridiculous. no reason to treat people like crap. won't be coming here again. read more

Generally good store. Allan is the new wine manager and he is awful! I plan about a dozen wedding events a year and wine is almost always a large cost item for them. I'd been using this Total Wine for years with good results, but the new wine manager, who has lots of wine knowledge is arrogant, rude, short and impatient. I will no longer send clients or buy wine from this store as long as this rude, offensive employee is the wine manager. I don't know what happened to the old manager, he was great.
