This is a small place but the owner OSS great. Get my legs here for my Kegerator. Also they have parts for your keg machine. The service is great. No t much food here. Bob is absolutely great, and this is the only place we go for keg and c02 refills. They even mix with nitrogen for Guinness kegs. Amazing stock of kegs for the double kegerator we bought there also- and they deliver. What's not to like? read more

Caution: I had this same review on google and the owner purposely put a link in his response and it flagged the review for removal. I'll keep posting about his lack of integrity The guy that runs this place is a thief. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I've gotten 4 CO2 tanks filled by this establishment and the first one was fine but the last 3 are barely filled. I called him out on it in the store and he hooked up a brand new regulator to the tanks I was exchanging and he saw that they were barely filled to the green. After he saw I wasn't lying, he told me that was the max the bottle would allow, which is also a lie because it would max out on the regulator (that's a regulators job). He acted like he had no clue, but runs a craft beer/ beer shop. This speaks to their integrity because if he's screwing customers on CO2, he's probably doing it in other areas too. I wish I could give zero stars. Wow This place can screw up a numerous keg order. Gave the wrong Keg and Did not give me a tap for another keg. The manager(BOB) kept complaining and berating , belittling the other employee (JB) I WAS EMBARRASSED for JB. I had to walk around the store. JB was trying so hard to complete the order but was completely interrupted, Numerous times by the complaining manager Bob. Also Bob was on his phone a lot. Obviously Bob does not Want or need repeat customers . If you can put up with the lack of organization , screwed up keg order and lack of human respect go here and maybe they will order the kegs you want but will you get the kegs you want? I didn't ! ............maybe the Keg selection is equivalent to one star. read more

Same as many others.. DO NOT BUT CO2 from this place. A full tank should last 4-5 full (1/2 barrel) kegs.. Drove 50 miles round trip because they were the only ones I could find that had co2 available on the weekend.. Lasted one keg! read more

Don't spend your $ here. They sold me an empty co2 bottle and their response was to just sell me another. It's my last time trading here anyone have suggestions of GOOD establishments to trade with? Not even worthy of 1 star The only reason I went here was they had Pacifico in stock but they were quite a bit higher I should have listened to my friends suggestions and trade with Specs or Total Wine. Friend was gifted a kegerator. The CO2 canister had Kegs & Barrels written in marker on it, so that's where we went. The fellas at the store were helpful - full of info and happy to learn up a new kegerator mama. The keg selection was decent. New mom found Revolver's Blood and Honey, which was what she wanted. Pro tip: unfiltered beers such as this one are stored upside down, so you won't find their product cap when browsing...check the sides of kegs with their bottoms up. Also a decent little liquor store. I'm a fan. read more

Rudest owner. Can I give zero stars? Have come here the past 12 months for kegs. Regularly dropping several hundred bucks each visit and every time I say thank you he just grunts "uh huh". Today my partner and I each made separate trips to Kegs & Barrels. I asked the owner a question as he rang up my couple hundred dollar transaction. He was speaking to a wine sales person on site or employee at the same time and he was utterly annoyed that I asked anything of him (question was simply how much is a full keg vs the half we typically buy i.e. bigger potential sale for him). He was an absolute jerk. I thought maybe just me today... Nope! My husband had to swap a CO2 (a bad one we got from there) and he got the same awful attitude and service. There are other places that sell kegs in the area and I highly highly recommend going literally anywhere else. I'll stop drinking before I give this guy another cent. area and I highly highly recommend people look at other options. read more

Great beer selection. Customer service is pretty awful. Every time I've been there, they behave like they've doing you a favor. My repeated visits have been due to good selections, but I won't be going there again. Last weekend, I called to get a keg of beer set aside. When I arrived, the keg was $50 more than what they had listed on their website. When I asked, the attendant decided to argue his point rather than acknowledge the problem. It's a shame cause clearly they have good distributors and they get good stuff. But I'd rather go without than being treated that way. Don't trust the prices on their website as they'll lean on their "subject to change" disclaimer. Beer lovers, there's more places out there. Don't let this poor customer service hold you hostage. read more

Just found this place abt a wk ago and to my suprise they have a very big selection of kegs and craft beer. Besides the store associate was helpful in showing me their collection of kegs in stock in cooler. I bought the keg and associate helped load the keg in my car. We rented a Keg here for our Halloween party. My boyfriend is very prompt and efficient and wanted to get everything done ahead of time so he communicated everything over the phone ahead of time since he lives 45 min away. We liked the selection. When he arrived they told him he had to pay a $100 deposit for the keg in cash. So after going to the ATM he obliged. We went to return it on Tuesday (party was on Saturday) and the man tells us he is late returning the keg & that it was due on Monday (once again not communicated prior or even when picking up the keg.) Needless to say we will not be renting a keg here again. read more

Stopped by here tonight to pick up a mini keg of German beer. They didn't have my first choice ("Hofbrau"), but they did carry another brand that I like ("Flensburger") so I purchased that instead. My problem with this store was not the selection, but the staff. The kid working behind the counter (his name was "Zach") was scowling the entire time I was in the store. He acted as though it was such an effort just to ring up my purchase. I'm not difficult to please, but staff with a nasty attitude really pisses me off! The kid didn't say "thanks", he frowned the entire time, and his bad attitude really ruined the experience and will keep me from returning to this store. If you are looking for a good selection of craft beers and wine, go to "Mr. G's Beverage and Deli" at the corner of 15th and Coit. Much better selection, and no bad attitude. Somebody else here mentioned the bad vibe this store gives off, I have to agree, really bad attitudes, not recommended! read more

If you need a keg and you want it now, go to this place. The selection was huge! Local brews, craft brews, domestics, and imports. The cooler was stocked with 1/6, 1/4, and 1/2 barrels. I spent over 10 minutes just reading all the labels and trying to decide what to get. Staff was courteous came to the cooler to ask if I needed any help, the gentleman answered a few questions and I made my selection. I paid and they brought the keg out to my car. Completely full service and a great experience. read more

The two fellows I usually see here and assume run the place aren't the warmest guys, but for me, this place is perfect. They seem to get shipments in on Thursdays so either call in and see what they have in stock (their web site lists the stuff they can get, some of which will be in stock at any given time) or just walk into the cooler and see what they have at the moment. I call ahead and make sure they have what I want, and they deliver it to the car and even help load it if it's a 1/2bbl. I highly recommend this place for kegs (I don't buy liquor or wine here, so I can't speak to that). I see some older reviews pinging the place and most of the reviews more than a couple years old should probably be removed, I think the place has moved and maybe has new staff. As far as keg rentals, I don't know about that either, but you should always ask in advance for all fees, and it doesn't surprise me that these fellows may have forgotten to mention a keg rental deposit. read more
