Ariel was WONDERFUL in every possible way. He knew we were in a hurry to sell our house, but he didn't rush his work - it still came out top quality, and although I told him he didn't have to get everything ready asap (we pushed our painting date in order to give us a little more time)... but he worked through till each small project was done to perfection. He was also very respectful, kind and personable, and said he liked the bones & vibe of our home so he wanted to give the project s his all. Please check out my before and after pics & keep this hard working man in business! I have no personal connection to this man, just want to give him the kudos he deserves for helping us in a time of need! read more

Ariel is the BEST! So kind, communicative, responsible. I knew my home was in good hands. He did so much work on my home, from painting to patching up a drywall where there had been a leak and mold. I will be hiring him from now on, and his prices are hard to beat with the care he brings to his craft! 10 stars !!!! read more

Ariel and Chelsey are an amazing team. We asked them to practically help renovate our whole kitchen. Every step of the way Ariel communicated and checked with us to make sure it was exactly how we wanted. It wasn't just about getting the job done, it was also about putting a smile on our face. Ariel and team did the following services and much more: Custom Home Depot Base Cabinet installation, Butcher Block counter top installation, range hood construction and installations, custom pantry build and installation w/ pullout drawers (amazing work!), kitchen sink and garbage disposal installation, custom peninsula installation, painting walls, and dishwasher installation....I mean, Ariel does it all. We also needed some electrical work done and Ariel had the perfect contact for that, so make sure to ask him if electrical is needed! Another great thing about Ariel is that he is open and willing to give you advice on your side projects as well. Many times I was working on other parts of my home and Ariel took the time to explain what would be the best course of action. If he saw me struggling, he also offered his hand. On top of that, Ariel got along with our dog, Rocky, and at times watched him for us while we had to go to work or run errands. Ariel is the perfect handy person and I feel very thankful to have found him. We will always be in touch with Ariel and Chelsey. I highly recommend his services. read more

Ariel and his team are absolutely phenomenal at what they do. I have called on his services twice now, and both times he has delivered above and beyond expectations. What sets him apart from others is his attention to detail in the work, perfectionist attitude, and down to earth, approachable, and very easy to communicate with demeanor. In addition, it does not go unnoticed that he tries to be as helpful as possible. As an example, in our latest a call in to him, we asked to repair/replace a sink faucet in the bathroom. Despite it being more difficult than anticipated, he stuck with it and did a great job. Aside from this however, he noticed the toilet was not level and offered to quickly take care of that as well, no upcharge. A prime example of always going above and beyond, which is appreciated and unlike many others who either try to do the job as hastily as possible with the bare minimum results, or who clearly are out to nickel and dime you any place they can. Ariel is very fair in his service pricing, and honest and upfront about it. Always appreciated. If you need an honest person who gets the job done with integrity, he's your guy. Thank you again! read more

After two months, I received a text from Ariel explaining that two of his immediate family members had passed away and he had not been able to respond to his business emails due to making all of the funeral arrangements, etc. - this is totally understandable. He also told me that he doesn't service the San Fernando Valley, where I'm located. I thanked him for letting me know. While i wasn't able to hire him for my job, I am still impressed with his many positive reviews as well as taking the time to explain his situation. I would not hesitate to recommend contacting him if you reside in an area that he does service. read more

I am very happy I found Ariel and Chelsey. They are a great team! I hired Ariel to do some carpentry work for my home and he was able to precisely cut, measure and install a nice butcher block countertop for me. They are very thorough and make sure to complete the job 100% start to finish. I was pleased with the first job and actually ended up calling them back to install some complicated sliding shower doors as well. I am very pleased with the work. I would definitely call them back again for future jobs if needed and recommend them to anyone needing any handyman or general work that needs to be done around your home. read more

This is a long and overdue review. I needed to have my patio installed as it was too big of a job for myself and wanted piece of mind in having a professional install. I came across Ariel Designs after seeking for handyman quotes in the area. Ariel was very responsive and answered all my questions. He also seemed the most honest and genuine. He was also flexible with time, so I went with Ariel Designs and Ariel did not disappoint. He arrived on time and communicated the whole way. Ariel was also very friendly and caring. He made sure that he understood any preferences I had, and did an awesome job/install on this project. I highly recommend Ariel for all hand man services. read more

I hired Ariel to repair a built-in cabinet that was damaged. He was responsive, thorough and did a meticulous job. Although it took longer than Ariel expected, he honored the price he quoted. He was a little slow in sending his receipt for payment after I asked several times, but that's being nit picky. I would hire Ariel again and recommend him. read more

Bathroom door and frame busted. Completely cracked and unusable. Ariel Designs came out same day and took care of it within a few hours. Work was top notch quality at a very competitive price. This was definitely a breath of fresh air. Let's face it: Nowadays, it's very difficult to find a reliable and honest contractor that follows through to completion and exceeds expectations. Definitely saving this contact for future projects. No need to look any further if you're in e market for a general contractor. read more

Highly recommend Ariel and Chelsey. I needed garage storage cabinets rebuilt that were dismantled/destroyed by another company while doing a city required earthquake retrofitting project. This company quoted a very high price to rebuild them, so I started looking for someone else to do the job. Based on Ariel's 5 star reviews on Yelp, I emailed him to get an estimate. From that first call to the completion of the project, everything went very smoothly. Not only is he very competitive in pricing, he is punctual, great at communication and does a solid job with attention to details. His finish work is excellent. I will definitely be using him again. read more

Ariel did a great job with a very challenging project. We wanted a wood slat ceiling and removable wood panels in our basement turned wine cellar. Ariel and his daughter were wonderful, quick to respond, and gave us good prices for the various jobs we requested. They installed an old 1930's door for us including adding the door jamb and repainting the door frame (which we had a hard time finding a handyman or carpenter to do), installed curtain rods, and painted our daughter's room. They were also so sweet to our 4-year-old who wanted to constantly check on them. Would hire them again and definitely recommend them! read more

Ariel is the best. He is very responsive and does great work. I have called for his services twice now for two different repairs and both have been excellent experiences. Ariel fixed my door on our first service call and it worked better than when it was new. It was hung improperly and Ariel fixed it. On my second service call, Ariel helped me repair some really bad patch and paint spots on my ceiling. It now looks excellent. I really want to keep his service a secret but he definitely deserves the 5 star reviews. read more

My apartment had already been falling apart, but most recently - part of my door frame detached. I was very stressed, wondering how I would figure this out to avoid losing my security deposit. I tried to DIY this, but ended up striking the hammer too much - it completely fell off. I decide to search/message around and I'm so glad that Yelp recommended Ariel and Chelsea. I messaged them for a quote and they gave me a really affordable price. They arrived the next day, made it look so easy, and exceeded my expectations. They work diligently, they're professional, and reliable. I highly recommend contacting them and will definitely be reaching out to them again for any of their services! read more

I highly recommend Ariel Designs. Ariel and Chelsey are great. My son got locked out of the apt and had to kick in the door so the frame needed to be replaced. While fixing the door and drywall, Ariel realized the drywall was damp from the AC unit and was causing mold. He gave me his honest opinion on what needed to be done. He could've just fixed the door and over charged me but he didn't and I totally appreciate that. The job was completed quickly and it looks great. Thank you Ariel and Chelsey... y'all saved the day!! read more

I'm so glad I found Ariel! He and his daughter painted two bedrooms in my home. When I was looking for quotes people were quoting me a start time of months out, and a duration of multiple days. The work was good, they were reasonably priced and super friendly (thank you for putting up with my little dog!!). I will definitely be reaching out to them in the future. read more

Ariel is my go-to handyman! He is always putting his clients first. I am not sure anyone would go out of their way for something like that. He is seriously dedicated to his job and wants his clients to be happy.
