Ari Korean BBQ is definitely one of the top contenders in the area if you're looking for a step up from the standard all-you-can-eat (AYCE) spots. It's a great pick for a "date night" or a celebration where you care more about the quality of the beef than the quantity.

Various Korean Side Dishes (Banchan)

Went Saturday night for dinner with some friends. Decent parking outside but can be packed during peak hours. Had to wait about 20 minutes for a table. Once seated, the waiter was helpful in explaining the menu options. Decided to try the a la carte option instead of all-you-can-eat. This included several dipping sauces and a variety of Korean sides like steamed egg and cheese corn. We ordered 3 meats - Bulgogi, Thin Sliced Prime Brisket, and Thick Sliced Pork Belly. We really enjoyed the Bulgogi which was well marinated. Overall, great food and atmosphere to spend time with friends. The staff were attentive and cooked the meat for us on the grill!

Very good quality meat and I'm glad that the servers will cook for you! There was plenty of banchan, and my favorite was definitely the cucumber. We got the combo menu for 3 people as well as a kimchi fried rice. The meats were all cooked perfectly and again were of great quality. The kimchi fried rice was all right, but I love the parts that become crispy at the bottom.

I sadly did not think Ari was that good, and it was overall a pretty underwhelming meal. For almost $40 per person that's not AYCE, I also thought the amount of meat you get and the quality of ingredients was not worth it. It's nice that they help you cook the meat, but I felt like everything was just okay. Side dishes didn't have any standouts, the kimchi stew was incredibly salty, and the corn wasn't sweet at all. The meat portions were also very small for two people, and I could tell the quality wasn't the best.

This is my favorite kbbq place for high quality meats in a casual setting! The prices are a little higher and it is a la carte, not AYCE, but I really think the meat quality and marinade here is great! We always order the prime rib finger meat. You can order a set of beef or pork for 2, 3, or 4 people, which gives you several different cuts to try. However, after getting this combo before, I find the marinated prime finger meat to be the best out of those cuts, as it is super tender and has a wonderful marinade! The entree for the prime finger rib meat is $31 and is a pretty good size! If you order 2 or more meats, you also get a side of stew, your choice of kimchi or bean stew. I like the bean stew more as it has more flavor in my opinion, the kimchi one is a bit too sour for my taste. They also give you corn cheese and egg on the side of the grill with salad and rice! We also tried the thinly cooked spicy pork belly this time, and the marinade is a little more watery making it less greasy. It also is a ton of meat for $27! Service is great, they cook the meat for you and check on you often. Additionally, they have great smoke vacuums above the grill so it does not smell at all and it is nice and cool inside. Love coming here for a bit of a nicer kbbq!

1st time having full service at KBBQ! Really nice to know everything was cooked perfectly & all the sides were great. They definitely know what they're doing here & doing it efficiently.

FOOD - Beef Combination - Beef Tongue We ordered the medium for 3 people (for a group of 4 since we don't eat that much). The Beef Combination comes with thin sliced prime brisket, boneless prime short ribs, marinated rib finger meat, bulgogi, side dishes, steamed egg, corn cheese and kimchi stew. All the meats are very good and tender. My parents absolutely loved the corn cheese. Side dishes were yum too. The only thing I would say was that the kimchi stew was a bit on the saltier side. Other than that, everything tasted great. VIBES I went to celebrate post MCAT and I would say it's good for other celebrations as well. Lots of families were there and it is a little bit on the louder side but definitely a fun experience. You can cook the meat, but if you are waiting for long, sometimes the waiters and waitresses will come by and help with the cooking. SERVICE Service was amazing. We had Andrew as our main guy and he was great! Very sweet and welcoming. Quick and attentive to our needs and gave us great recommendations from the menu. The food is a little bit on the pricier side but worth the experience to go at least once.

$40 for one order of spare rib? Wow. I would rather spend the same or less and go to an all you can eat Korean BBQ.

Kimchi stew was too salty but the barbeque meats are high quality and 3 people can easily get full on the 2-person option.

You pay for everything extra better of to all you can eat. But I can say the quality of the beef is better than others I have gone too.

Won BBQ - Bulgogi bibimbap

We got the baby octopus bibimbap with the steamed egg and bulgogi bibimbap with the tofu soup. The banchan was also really fresh and the kimchi really stood out. The portions were huge! I love that the bibimbap comes out on a flat sizzling pan to maximize the crunchy rice you get from it. The baby octopus was delicious and had great flavor. The steamed egg had a spongy texture which and was also really flavorful. The tofu soup was not as thick as some that you might get but it had a really good savory flavor that you can taste in the soup. It was overall a real great experience and a great value if you're going at lunch. Definitely adding to our regular rotation.

Hands down we were treated like royalty here!…read more Got the pork belly and beef rib meat and to go with that bbq, mushroom bibimbap. Even before the star of the meal appeared, kudos to the smattering of banchan that came out: sprouts, cucumber kimchi, sweet potato, mini meat patties, kimchi, steamed egg, tofu soup, salad greens seasoned, cheese + corn... I hope I didn't miss any! The mushroom bibimbap is flavorful! We've never had this particular bibimbap before and man it goes well with the meat. Beef rib was tender and nice. We wanted it a bit rare :) and it was delish! Dipping sauce was nice but honestly doesn't need it! Oh and the grilled mushroom is good with it. Pork belly was the star of the meal. Had it with 2 week aged grilled kimchi (so special!!) and we got samjang with it, yummm. We were stuffed to the rim and had to take a little box of leftovers home. We were so touched with a little desert rice drink at the end, really rounded out the meal and experience all together. A+ for the service. Amazing job and everything grilled to perfection.

The Good: The…read morecustomer service is very friendly. Very kind workers who are very helpful and explains the menu well. I enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant with the large mural of a Hawaiian beach and simple island decor peppered throughout. The restaurant is also very clean. I also was fairly happy with the portion sizes for the chicken dishes. The vegetables in the Hawaiian plates were cooked very well and were really good complements with the lunch meals. What didn't work for me: The decoration alone is where this stopped feeling like a Hawaiian restaurant. The Hawaiian plates felt more Asian inspired rather than true Hawaiian inspired. The flavor is excellent, don't get me wrong, but I felt it was a bit of an identity crisis. The Beef BBQ short rib pieces were fatty and overcooked. I had only a few tender bites of beef but the rest was so chewy and fatty that I had to spit it out. Also only had 6-7 pieces of short rib for a $20 plate which I didn't really feel was worth it. The chicken katsu was crispy however I didn't care for the quality of the chicken meat. It was very stringy and tough to bite through in some areas. I was very much looking forward to the macaroni salad but it was just fine. I had high hopes for this one but it just wasn't creamy enough to blow me away. If you have ever visited a Hawaiian island and ever felt like you needed a fix of that memorable vacation, this place won't bring you back to those island memories but you will still be treated very well from a very kind staff. Their attitude is very aloha however I hope one day I can take a bite of their meal and be transported back to island vibes. I would recommend this place if you want solid Asian flavors, but not Hawaiian island specific flavors.

Even when we weren't sure about which appetizers we wanted she allowed us to split appetizers- a small portion where we got to try the apps. We tried the tenderloin crostini which was delicious. Along with coconut shrimp. The shrimp were ginormous. And the sauces were so good. Our fav was the mango marmalade. The best bread I have ever had in my life!!!! You know how sometimes they bring a roll to the table for the table to share? Not here boyeeeee Each person gets their own roll. I don't even know how to explain this heavenly bread. It truly is the best beard I have ever had before. I would come eat here again JUST FOR THE BREAD. The crab cake is out of this world. Huge jumbo clumps. Also comes with a variety of sauces. The wasabi one was our favorite. You must order the crab cake! My husband got the ribeye rare and said it was the best steak he has had, and he eats a ton of steak. I got their off menu item of carne asada tacos. The meat was sooooo tender. They don't use flank steak they use a tenderloin and it just melts. The mushrooms were Devine. Glad I ordered the carne asada. The adult Mac and cheese was good but just good. Brussels sprouts were good (not the best I have had) but I think I was also just so full by this point. The asparagus is huge!!! Oh the best finisher ever- the peanut butter pie!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!! I'm not even a dessert girl and I couldn't stop eating it.
