I really like Arhaus, I think the quality is wonderful. However I do think it is a little pricey. It did take about 3 weeks to receive the furniture, however they did tell me this in advance. I also think the sales associates are a bit push, so its a good idea to know what you want before you go in there. Yes, I would definitely make another purchase from this place. read more

Delivery delivery delivery! Please read the terms and conditions of this store before purchasing anything custom. My wife and I put the customary 50% down on our custom furniture, and we were told our sofa would be delivered within 6 - 8 weeks. 9 weeks later, my wife calls the store and is informed that we will have to wait another 4 - 6 weeks. My wife asked the store rep. why we were not informed that our furniture was delayed, and the young lady replied, "you have to call in for any status updates, we don't notify the customer." My wife and I wait 7 weeks to call in to check on the furniture again, April 15th, and we are told that our furniture will be done May 10th, and then it will go through customs, ship to the US, and once here in the US it will take another 7 - 10 business for delivery. Furniture that we bought January 31st, that was supposed to deliver March 30 - April 8, is now being delivered some time in June. No notice of delay, no apologies, no refunds. The store offered us 5%....sales tax is 8.25%. Arhaus kept our deposit with no refund or store credit offered and my wife and I took our business to Cantoni. Arhaus List of Problems: 1. Waited 4 months for initial furniture order. 2. Tao kitchen table chairs had nicks, but used black marker purchased at Home Depot to fix them. 3. Tao table arrived with a beautiful, smooth coating on it except in two spots on the table's edge. As if the table had been moved before the coating had dried. It was only visible when looking at the table from a certain angle and because we had been without a kitchen table since moving into our home in April I elected to ignore this poor quality control issue. I regret that decision now. 4. Russell night stand arrived with a broken sliding door. As in the entire right railing system was broken clean off. After waiting 4 months the night stand went back immediately for repair. 5. Russell Wardrobe sliding door was not lining up correctly and delivery guys spent 20 minutes adjusting the door. During adjustment the bolt "coating" holding the hardware rollers was scraped. I went to Michaels and purchased acrylic paint to touch up the damage rather than return the needed furniture. 6. Russell night stand with broken sliding door was returned only to have 4 missing bolts? How can a piece of furniture, which was repaired, and should have been given a good once over arrive with missing hardware? One of the lower shelving strips was missing both bolts! How that piece of wood remained in place is a mystery to me. I elected to keep the Russell night stand and wait for ANOTHER replacement as we weren't going to have a missing spot in our bedroom any longer, especially after waiting 6 months at this point. 7. Ordered 5 piece Telegraph Office furniture set. Even though I have an 800+ credit score with $60,000 cash in the bank, I was denied financing by Arhaus? Regardless, I purchased the office set with cash, loosing out on the zero interest offer. The Telegraph Return Desk arrived with a loose top. I emailed (several times by the way) to request assembly instructions so I could tighten the desk top at a later date. There was no Alex leather desk chair on first delivery. 8. Telegraph Workers Cabinet had damage to its right, vertical support. So I put in a request for an exchange. 9. Alex leather desk chair arrived. Physically no damage, however chair felt/sat strange. Chair would tilt forward, but not backward? After spending the day looking at the chair and sending emails to Arhaus (which no one ever replied to) I finally figured it out... The mechanical hardware under the Alex leather desk chair was installed backwards?! I removed hardware and flipped it 180 degrees and now my Alex leather desk chair sits and functions properly. If I weren't mechanically inclined I'd also be forced to exchange the Alex leather desk chair. 10. Replacement Russell night stand arrived with Alex leather desk chair. The sliding door on the replacement night stand made a "clicking" sound and there was damage to the front handle so I took the needed 4 bolts off the "replacement" night stand and kept my original night stand. The incompetence/lack of caring can not be disputed after all of these problems. You could possibly chalk up one or two issues to a mistake, however given that Arhaus is a premium furniture brand even that is unacceptable. I feel sorry for our representative as she's caught in the middle and obviously not at fault. Sadly, we've had friends over who stated that they also had the Tao kitchen table on order, but canceled due to a variety of problems with Arhaus. read more

My mom fell in love with a media console at Arhaus. It was gorgeous and when you are spending money ohhhhh how attentive and helpful they are. The thing arrived with damages, the doors of the console would not close as they were not aligned correctly. After MONTHS of going back and forth with the ridiculous joke of a customer service person that did not return calls... a repair man finally came out...excuse me a repair kid as he was about 18 from some random furniture repair company. He then damaged the piece taking a huge chunk out of the door and scrapping the inside. When we saw the damage he claimed he didn't even do it!!! OMG. Another month of trying to get customer service to replace the console only to hear that the item is now on back order. We are still trying to get a full refund. What an absolute joke. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE IT WAS A HUGE MISTAKE, not to mention a big waste of time. I think we should get the damn thing for free after all this!!! Heed the warnings before considering placing a custom order with this company. Not only are they not transparent about how long it takes to receive an order, their sales people are not held accountable for misleading customers. When I decided to leave a review, I scrolled through countless experiences that are exactly what we have been through. The "responder" to these reviews tries to minimize the percentage of customers who have this experience, but I am in disbelief. We ordered a bed in August 2017, it is now December 5. I have no idea where the bed is or when it will be delivered. Apparently, neither does the manager or the sales person. The manager at the Alpharetta, GA store (Nadeen) tries to be helpful - the sales rep (Robyn) could not care less. If you want nice furniture there are plenty of other places to shop who will deliver. I order 4 faux fur throws on black friday. The package arrived in two boxes. I decided to return the blankets and Arhaus sent me a shipping label. The shipping label would only cover the weight of one of the boxes. I sent a request for a second shipping label. I was sent a second label that i used for the second box. I mailed both boxes back to Ahaus the same day. They were both delivered a week later. I was only refunded for one of the two boxes. I have contacted customer support to get a refund for the other half of my returned order. The woman stated she would submit an email to UPS and when they responded, she would be in touch with me. I never heard back from her. I called Arhaus a week and a half later. A new customer service representative created another email to send to UPS. This new rep stated she will contact me by the end of the week once she hears from UPS. I am unsure why UPS needs to be contacted as I have the email confirming delivery and the name if the recipient at Arhaus who signed for both packages the same day the same time. Ordered a dining room table August 7 of this year. Had to put half down.(this is not cheap furniture). Was told 10 weeks when I ordered it. Received a phone call a month ago telling me that the chairs are in, but waiting on the table. Will not be in until December 15. Already not having it for Thanksgiving, was hoping to have for Christmas. Called yesterday and it is looking like it SHOULD come in the beginning of the year. Six months is absolutely ridiculous. We have had similar delays in delivery issue that a previous poster indicated. We placed an order early September 2021 for close to $8,000 worth of furniture. We were told we would receive the sofas in November. I understand that there have been delays with the pandemic but it is now the end of April and we still haven't received our sofas. Every month we get a new estimated delivery date and every time that delivery date comes, I reach out asking where our furniture is and we get a new estimated delivery date. The customer service has been mixed. I really appreciate that they have offered us a slight discount and also provided us with a loaner sofa. While the loaner is helpful, it isn't what we ordered (we ordered 2 sofas that are a different size), and we are having trouble settling into our space without the proper furniture. What is incredibly frustrating is the communication. It is very frustrating to get different shipment dates every month for months on end. The store seems to have no understanding of where the furniture is in the production line, why there are delays, or what a realistic timeline is. Also, their website continues to misadvertise delivery times. For a relatively high end furniture store, there really should be a better level of communication. I still haven't received my sofas so my review doesn't reflect the quality of the product. It only reflects the customer service and delivery times. I hope that customers don't rely on the delivery times posted on the website as they are not accurate from my experience. read more

Do not buy a sofa from Arhaus. We bought two Taylor sofas in May and they are just terrible. Both the top cushion and the seat cushion are always sliding out of place, and nothing I do will hold them in place. I have never owned a sofa that requires this must adjusting and fixing (I do this probably 5-10 times a day!). This is low quality, and to top it off, their Customer Service tells me they are up to standard and refuse to do anything to fix this. I have offered to buy two new sofas in place, but they don't care to keep this customer happy. I'm very disappointed in Arhaus. I went there thinking they were higher quality and that anything there would be good, but was I wrong! AVOID AT ALL COSTS. read more

We have the Torino dining chairs from Arhaus (6) that we purchased in late 2017. They broke down by December 2017, by that I mean the seat and the back became very loose and wiggly (in 5 of the six chairs). We had purchased the Worry-Free (hassle full) protection plan. READ ALL THE FINE PRINT. I reported the problem via a brief phone call. They returned an email that I failed to respond to within the fine print 30 days. I just got back around to handling this again and they refused to accept my claim saying that only one claim of the same type can be filed on an item. I am furious. Very unfortunate experience for me as a customer at the Arhaus in Boulder, Colorado. The customer service that I experienced was off putting and slightly arrogant. Found an expensive piece to purchase that was small enough for me to transport home, however they were not willing to work with me and insisted on charging a $149 delivery fee. This is 18% of the furniture cost. I'm happy to take my business and money to another furniture store where the customer experience will be substantially better!! I've been meaning to write this review for a long time. About a year ago, I was in the market for a total make-over for my family room. I'd been everywhere looking for two couches and two chairs to go with my vision - comfy yet pretty room for my family to gather. I showed up to Arhaus Tysons with my camera where I'd taken pictures of the room that I was working on. The sales person, Stacey Knight, helped me and was amazing. I felt like I was not only choosing furniture but getting style advice as well. We walked around the store looking at a bunch of different pieces. My 3 year old was with me so I couldn't pull the trigger on anything that day. But, I came back a couple of weeks later with my husband, and found Stacey and she helped us with two fantastic couches with nice, deep seats and slip covers (although they don't really look like your typical slip covered couch). A year later, and I feel like those couches were such a great choice for a young family. They comfortable and beautiful. Plus, I'm able to wash the covers which makes a difference for me to keep the furniture looking nice. In the same visit, I showed Stacey a picture of chairs that I liked from Crate and Barrel, and as it turns out, Arhaus had similar chairs for cheaper! So, I added those to my order! Needless to say, I went back a few months later for tables. And last week went in to look at a dining room set. Stacey wasn't there, but one of the managers was so helpful as well. Unfortunately, he didn't have a cool name like Stacey Knight so I don't remember what his name was. But, he walked around with my husband and I, moving chairs around to different tables, and helping us choose furniture that matches our style and the needs of our young family. Given all of the wonderful service that I've gotten from Arhaus in Tysons, it's going to be hard for me to go elsewhere for new furniture. I'm creating my own little Arhaus showroom:) read more

I purchased a sofa and ottoman that was delivered about a year ago. Although the furniture is sturdy and the cushions are comfortable, the sofa started pilling at about 6 months. When I contacted the store, I was told that pilling is not covered under the 1 year warranty as it is considered "wear and tear". There is NOT a large family using the sofa and some days it doesn't even get used so how much wear and tear can there be in 6 months? I will definitely not be purchasing furniture from Arhaus in the future. Very disappointed in the fabric quality and their customer service. read more

Terrible service. I've spent at least $30,000 over the past few years and recently purchased new slip covers for 2 sofas that I currently have. The original covers were a problem but I won't get into that. So this time around I wasn't going to be left unhappy. It took months for them to come in and when they did, almost instantly the deems were popping. I had to prove they were defective by sending many pictures. Finally after getting approval, they told me to come pick new fabric and I could get a new set. Fast forward 7 months later, I get a box in the mail from arhaus. I open and find one set. I wait thinking that the other would come any day. After a week I call and ask if they could locate my other box. Btw, getting through to the right person with information was not fun either. After a couple days of them trying to figure out where my other slipcover was, they let me know that they made a mistake and only ordered one!!!!!! Now I have to wait over 28 weeks for the other to be made!!! 2 years will have passed by the time I get a quality product! Never again will I purchase from arhaus. read more

Originally came into the Annappolis store "window shopping" understanding we had multiple home projects and home furnishings being planned. Denny(?) Showed us around, was extremely knowledgeable, answered all our questions, and was extremely patient with incessant changes and specific desires we expressed (sometimes varying between us as a couple). We had some personal discussions on site as we occasionally clashed as a couple due to the surprisingly unique and beautiful furniture in the store, and Denny was very attentive and able to immediaty address our compromised decisions. We were on such a roll making decisions on furnishing our house, that we lost track of time until we noticed they were preparing to close. To our pleasant surprise, Denny assured us there was no rush and to take out time, tending to our needs well past closing time. I wish every salesperson was as patient and accomodating as she was! What a horrible experience! Worked with a designer on choosing new furniture for our living room. She didnt start off bad, but did not follow up with us as she said she would. As we were spending upwards of $8,000 we wanted to set up an arhaus credit card to get approximately $500 in rewards. Applied early Sept was told we would be all set in ten days. That didnt happen either! Had already put 1/2 down. Called the credit provider to find out the status and they wouldnt talk to me. We were trying to meet a cutoff date so our furniture wouldnt be delayed. Called our designer and the store in Walnut Creek three times wanting to pay for the order.No one responded. On the fourth call someone decided to accept our payment, but of course our order was delayed. Never got approved for the card and didnt get any rewards. Furniture arrived in two separate shipments, the first was ok. The second delivery was frustrating, the delivery was scheduled between 12 and 2, got a call that they were delayed and would be there between 2 and 4. At 10 to 4 we called the dispatcher to advise that we were waiting but had other arrangements and would not be there after 4:15. Called them 3 times no answer and no call back. We left and 45 minutes later got a call from the driver that they were at our house and they unloaded the furniture but nobody was answering the door. We advised them that we would be ther in 20 to 30 minutes, they didnt like it because they had 6 more deliveries to make. Of course we said not our problem, we called and were ignored. I bought a Baldwin sofa in 2010. It was rarely used until 2017. In 2019 I noticed the cushions were sinking to the point that it hurt my hips. I also mentioned the pillow inserts for the pillows did not fit the covers. They sent a technician out and cushions were replaced. He said to fluff up the pillow inserts, which does not work. In 2020 I noticed the cushions were sinking again. I also mentioned the pillow concern. They sent a technician out. This time he took off the fabric on the underside of the sofa. I was shown a very flimsy piece of wire that was intended to hold up the sofa cushions. I was told this was normal wear and tear. He did not address the pillow concern. I waited about a month for Arhaus concierge to respond. Finally I called and was told they would not do anything. I explained the wire holding up the cushions was flimsy. They did not comment on this. I then filed a BBB complaint. Again, they are saying it is normal wear and tear. It is not normal wear and tear. The flimsy wire is not appropriate to hold up a small person who has only sat on the sofa on a regular basis for 2 years. They did offer to give me a quote on the pillows. I declined saying that the pillow inserts should fit the covers. This is not the type of customer service I would expect from the purchase of a sofa that cost almost $2,000. I asked that they either fix the wire and pillows, or reimburse me for taking care of this myself. Customer service again says it is normal wear and tear and will not do anything. It seems, from reading reviews, "normal wear and tear" absolves them from doing anything to reasonably address customer concerns. read more

Throughout my interactions from the NJ sales team, to the delivery coordination team, they all were top notch professionals and wanted me to be happy not only with the product, but with my experience. In addition, I purchased a dining room table and needed to return it for imperfections in the product. We purchased an outdoor dinning table and benches worth $5,000. The top was a fabricated concrete stone. After 5 months noticed cracks on the sides of the stone top. After contact Arhaus told that they no longer carry this table. We have to pick another table or use an instore credit. I don't like anything else they have to offer, and I feel they should take the table back and give me a refund as the table is defective. I feel Arhaus wants to be a "fine furniture" store with American's customer service. If they would like to be in the elite furniture business maybe they should vet their venders products better before they list them under the "Arhaus" name. I recently worked with Deidre while shopping for a sectional. I had walked out of West Elm (across the hall from Arhaus Tysons location) and had just had a terrible customer service experience including rude staff and an appointment with a consultant that they had no record of. I had never been to Arhaus but decided to walk through. I was initially put off by the five employees lounging on furniture at the store entrance - in fact, I thought they were shoppers because they were drinking coffee and looked so relaxed. You can imaging how surprised I was when I saw them helping customers later during my visit. I walked to the cash registers and asked to work with someone for sectional shopping. Deidre enthusiastically offered to help immediately. She spent 90 minutes walking around the store with me, all while managing other returning customers who stopped in to see her, and I never felt like I was burden. She was patient, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. When she followed up with me by phone after my visit, I never felt like she was being pushy like other furniture stores have been. When I was deciding where to purchase my furniture from, Deidres assistance was the single most important factor that made me want to purchase from Arhaus. read more

I had a terrible experience with Arhaus. I had chosed a bedframe on Saturday (Nov. 16, 2019) and was very clear that I would only purchase it if it would arrive to my house by Thanksgiving, since I was expecting guests and was in need of a bed. The staff person at Arhaus told me that only if I gave all my information and tried to purchase the bed would she be able to find through the system if the bed would arrive on time. I agreed and did that. She checked and assured me that it would arrive a few days before Thanksgiving. I gave my credit card number and was charged the whole amount, which was in the agreement. I also received, a day later, a notification that if I paid a little more, I would be worry-free from stains, etc. On Monday, November 18 (today), I called to ask to be charged also for the worry-free plan. But while on the phone the person who had been dealing with my purchase told me that after all the bed would not be delivered next week, but instead, SOMETIMES IN FEBRUARY. Needless to say, I am VERY UPSET, ANGRY and even though they immediately provided to make an invoice for the refund (which I will have to check when it will be credited to me), I will not have the bed for Thanksgiving, even if I tried somewhere else, because it's too late now. Thank God I didn't buy the mattress from them (which they tried to sell me anyway). So next week I will get a mattress and will have my guests sleep on the floor, thanks to Arhaus. Wow, they charge a lot for their furniture, but what they are interested in is only money, not customer-service quality. Terrible, terrible. I will NEVER EVER EVEN TRY to buy anything from them and please, don't do so. You might find other surprises (as I can read from other reviews). And even though my true name is not on Yelp, the manager and the person who tried to sell me the bed know who I am and that I am real. I have a few emails exchange with them. read more

My wife and I have bought/inherited several pieces of Arhaus furniture over the years - a desk, a media console, a cabinet, two nightstands, a dresser, and a sectional. In my opinion, furniture should be durable, stylish, functional, and make a statement. Arhaus' furniture checks all of these boxes and always receives rave reviews from our guests on all accounts. As for the Tysons Arhaus, I can't say enough good things about Patti - I will only over shop at Arhaus through her. She gives excellent advice, is extremely prompt, isn't pushy as furniture salespeople are wont to be, and always provides exemplary customer service. I've purchased several pieces of furniture through her and, in the most recent case, I sent her an email requesting a quote for a media console and a cabinet. She called me within ten minutes of sending that email and a week later the furniture was arriving at my door. After it was delivered, Patti called me on the day to check how the delivery went and, when I mentioned that one of the spring mechanisms on a door needed a slight adjustment, she provided me with the regional concierge's name and number. A week after that, the technician arrived and my media console was fixed and became the perfect final touch to my living room that I knew it would be. read more

Worst delivery experience ever! I ordered my leather recliner back in July and as of today, Dec 13, I'm still waiting. The first time they delivered, it was damaged and the wrong color. I reordered and waited to hear from them. I didn't. Not one word, email , text, or phone call. When I called for the third time,I was told that it was already shipped to the distribution center and that I should have been notified. That was mid-November. I received an email recently that my chair was to be delivered the next day. I called to try to reduce the 8 hour window that I needed to sit home waiting and I was told that they could not reduce it. The chair never came. Today I'm sitting home from 9-1 for my delivery. Arhaus does not stand behind the quality of their furniture. Their customer service center informed us that the warranty for their product does not cover the fabric or leather. We purchase a dining table and chairs and one of the chairs "leather" covering peeled off of the fabric backing in multiple places including locations that could not be due to wear. They replied to our request for a replacement telling us that fabrics are not covered by the warranty. This was not explained or communicated to us at the time of purchase so beware when buying furniture from this company. Terrible customer service! Spent several thousands on furniture. Two pieces were shipped damaged and had to be repaired or sent back. Purchased a clock that was called an "Iron Clock" that was covered in rust on the back side and was not sealed correctly on the front. Called Concierge Services and was told that the manufacturing process was being looked into. Never heard back from anyone until after several attempts. Was promised that something would be done. They offered to refund our shipping cost which was never done. Ended up giving us 15% off of the clock only. The rust ruined a pair of shorts. The drawer on the media center was broken. Very disappointed with this company and will not be purchasing their products any more. read more

Terrible customer service. I called the store to cancel an order and gave an associate my credit card information. After 1.5 weeks the return was not showing up on my CC statement. I proceeded to call the store multiple times to talk to that employee and never heard back. Today I went to the store to figure out what was going on. I was told the cancellation of the orders were never processed. The lady today upon trying to refund my money ended up charging my card AGAIN. She then had to call another store to have someone help her process the refund because no one else in the store would help her. The woman who I had given my credit card information to over the phone showed up and preceded to tell me that she hadn't processed the refund because she didn't know how and their manager had been gone for the last week. An hour later I FINALLY was taken care of by a store manager from a different store. DO NOT SHOP HERE! THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! The associate had my credit card information (the numbers/exp/code) for over 1.5 weeks and never processed a refund!!! read more
