Buyer Beware: I purchased 4 "SPINNAKER OUTDOOR SWIVEL CHAIRS" for my covered patio in Florida. The swivel is failing on all the chairs. The supervisor of Arhaus Concierge just told me that I should have been bringing the chairs indoor every time it rained for a warranty claim to protect the mechanism from the elements. These chairs are over 100 lbs each!! Every time it rains....in Florida! If this was explained to me at the point of purchase I would never have bought outdoor chairs that I had to bring inside. One star is generous. Unfortunately, neither the furniture nor the customer service is worthy of the excessive pricing. We purchased a living room set from the Salem office, which was promised to us within 2 months. It took 5 months. When it arrived one of the end tables was considerably damaged, and Arhaus (to its credit) replaced it because it was required to. Our coffee table ended up too large for our living room, so we asked if we could exchange for a more suitable option. At least two salespersons indicated that wouldn't be a problem so long as we paid an additional S&H fee and re-stocking fee (fair enough). It required manager approval, but after chasing them over a week for an update the curt response from the manager of Salem was that there was nothing they could do given we were (very slightly) outside of our 15 day return window. We spent over $10,000 at Arhaus over the past 6 months (dining room table and other items, which of course were all significantly late on delivery) and just a straight shoot down, not even an exploration of options that might work for a customer stuck in a bad spot. Kind of shortsighted given we were in the market for another $20k-$30k worth of furniture at the time, which obviously will be directed elsewhere. Stay away from this place, they don't know the meaning of customer service (nor how to run an effective business). read more

We purchased an extra warranty to cover any issues that might come up even though we weren't even sure we would need it. Quality is poor and customer service is even worse. We bought a very expensive couch and customer service is pretending that we didn't purchase a warranty.. couch was delivered we a defective cushion. They refuse to replace it but stated that they would replace it...but never did. Beautiful designs and nice store personnel but the furniture does not last and they do not stand by their products. We had an expensive sectional sofa in our summer house which we only use 20% of the time. Now the foam in the cushions have shrunk and are too flat to sit on. Arhaus wants an insane $1800 just to replace the foam inserts,which they admit they have redesigned due to poor performance. Stay away. read more

Truly sorry they didn't have a no-star rating, and am a bit surprised their overall rating is at 2 1/2 stars. I received a mailer that was addressed to my wife who was killed in an auto accident 15 years ago. I called and left them a message requesting a manager contact me asap to ensure I was removed from the list. 48 hours later I never heard back from them. I called yesterday to explain the situation, suggesting in part they use another marketing company that doesn't "sell" information that's 15 years old. I spoke with two people who couldn't take my name off the list. After speaking with a third I was told it would take from 6-8 weeks to be removed. I called this morning, asked to speak to a manage, and after 5 minutes of hold time she came on. I was told she (the manager) had to speak to someone in another department to have my name removed and that other person wasn't in. When I asked how long I might be on hold I was told she didn't know. I suggested she take my information and deliver it to the proper department thus not necessitating I wait on hold yet again. Totally non-caring and callous. With so many other options out there I would recommend you purchase items elsewhere. read more

I've always love Arhaus's classic designs and was super excited to buy the 48" leather club ottoman from them. However, my experience with Arhaus Tyson has just been a a constant disappointment. I worked with Patti and Erik. I asked them very specifically before putting in an order if the ottoman could withstand a 7lb cat and her scratching since leather can be soft/delicate. They told me repeatedly the leather was scratch resistant and it should be fine. Patti even brought it up to another sales representative when we checked out and everyone kept telling us the leather would be fine. Fast forward, I knew it would take a long time for us to get our order, but there was no update on the order at all throughout the process. I actually had to call them around 6 months to see what the status was. And when the ottoman was finally ready, I had to give my credit card number to three sales people because the first one never processed my credit card information and their was no record of him taking my card info (so sketchy!), the second one claimed system issues and only process half of the remaining balance, and then finally the third time it worked. Fast forward some more, less than six months after having my ottoman, the leather they claimed would be kitty resistant, was indeed not - we have tiny scratch marks. I contacted customer service and they said they didn't warranty leather and that they would forward my issue to Arhaus Tysons and they should help resolve this since they gave me the false consultation (telling me the leather would be ok around my cat). Well, it's been two months and I have not heard a peep from Arhaus Tysons to resolve this. This was not a cheap purchase so we wanted to be clear in our investment when asking about the leather before hand or we would have picked another material. I'm super disappointed in Arhaus and am aghast at their false consultation. I was a huge fan of Arhaus but this experience has caused me to lose trust in them as a brand. read more

Despite all these negative reviews, and based on our own prior wonderful experiences, we returned to Arhaus Tyson's to purchase a new kitchen set - extension table and 5 chairs and a bench. Once again, it was an overall incredible shopping experience. The staff was helpful in helping us navigate the store and decipher options. They pulled out fabric options and made recommendations as to what would best suit out lol and family life (small children requiring durability and ability to wipe down spills from chairs). We made the order and our set was delivered within two weeks. Perfect condition, great delivery service. Ordered a sectional from them in August with an original expected delivery date of late October. I didn't hear anything from them and eventually called mid-October to see the status of the order. They said they were missing one of the chairs that make up the sectional but that it should arrive in a week. I asked them to deliver what they had and send the rest the following week. So, the first delivery showed up; and it is really pretty. However, I never heard anything about the rest of the delivery. Two weeks later I called to see what was happening and it turns out the rest of my order has now been delayed till the end of December. First, how do you miss an expected delivery date by 2 months? Second, what kind of company doesn't even bother to let the customer know? Oh, and you better believe they charged me when I originally placed the order; so now I will be paying on something for 5 months that has never been delivered. So, in summary, the delivery date they state is nothing more than a guess and if they miss it; don't expect for them to let you know or communicate with you in anyway. Update: in case anyone sees the response from from Arhaus and assumes they took care of it; I sent my information to the email address specified and never heard from them. I assume at this point they just posted that to give the appearance that they were actually going to make it right. read more

Beware - they'll say anything to get a sale. I ordered a chair but given build delays was told at least 6 months on the delivery time. After a while I decided to just get something that was an in stock item. When I asked the store they informed me there was a 50 percent cancelation fee. I told them I wasn't made aware of the cancelation policy and that I would not have purchased if I had been told. I've spent well into the 5 digits at Arhaus over the years and they completely dismissed me without even an apology of their stupid rule. I tried to write an email to the store and never got a reply. "Concierge" delivery service that I paid $500 for was a joke. They claim 2 delivery men show up and unwrap your pieces and place them where you want. I got one very young, goofy delivery guy who "walked" my unwrapped swivel chair (1 of 2) to the edge of the truck platform, hopped down onto the street, grabbed it in his arms, carried it across my lawn with the swivel base bouncing the entire way. He snagged the arm fabric on the way through the door. By the time it got inside the base was broken. Armchair #2 never made it out of the truck -- it was already broken beyond repair before it even arrived. I sent this chair back and promptly asked for a refund. I only got the refund back after talking to several representatives. Never again. I'll be buying from Ballard Designs instead....because they know how to do it right. read more

Horrible online shopping experience!! AVOID SHOPPING HERE AT ALL COSTS! I placed two orders. The first was for 3 dining chairs. The chairs were not at all the same color as the photo or the swatch. The online customer service told me that variations happen and they would have to charge me a 10% restocking fee and a $299 return delivery fee. I drove to the store to see the swatches in person and took photos to send in, proving the difference. I asked if I could return them to the store, but was told since I ordered online that I could not. (So be aware that is not an option if you purchase anything at all from them online.) The customer service person in-store told me that they are not responsible for differences in leather because that just happens. Hmm...that's a great way to run a business, huh? I also bought two stools that look absolutely nothing like the online photos. It's almost comical. On top of that, the stools were $249, but they came with a white sticker on the inside that says $199! I sent in the photos for that as well and was told I could return those with no fees. I guess that one was more difficult for them to dispute. The bottom line is that Arhaus poses as a higher end home furnishing retailer, but in actuality they bait and switch and then you end bup payng for their false advertising. I will never ever be purchasing from Arhaus again. There are plenty of other reputable, honest retailers with much better quality furniture. read more

In short, I ordered 2 Baldwin NS sofas that were on sale for $1799 each. I have a written price quote from Tysons Arhaus stating 2 sofas with special order fabric that was offered at no upcharge during the sale. I gave them my credit card number over the phone and thought all was good. Imagine my surprise when I looked at my credit card online to find that my written quote total of $4012.88 was changed to $5072.88, a startling $1060 price hike. I emailed them and refused the purchase, only to be wholly ignored. Days later, when my credit card had not yet been credited, even after telling them in writing to cancel it, I called the store manager to complain and she refunded my account. For me, if I can't trust what you give me in writing, how can I trust anything. read more

The good: Great looking furniture, mostly helpful showroom associates, and purely based on materials used and construction techniques, this is relatively high-end furniture. Quality is far better (and price far higher) than most of the big box stores, though neither is in the same range as, say, Ethan Allen or Stickley. The bad: Everything else. I have ordered twice from these guys: The first time, I ordered 3 items, and one showed up damaged. Not exciting, but it happens, they replaced it, I'm a forgiving guy, and I like the look of their stuff, so I ordered again. The second time, I ordered 10 items. 4 came damaged, 3 of which were dining room chairs. They were nice enough to ship another 6 dining room chairs (replacing all of them), and 3 of THOSE were damaged, so out of a total of 17 items shipped, 7 were damaged. And the process of getting the damaged items replaced was painful. Their customer service people were incredibly unhelpful (both rude and unqualified), so I ended up dealing w/ the people in the store who were better. Though to be clear, it wasn't easy. At more than one point, I had to threaten to dispute the charge on the credit card to get a call back. 3 months later, the leather starts peeling off of one of the seemingly undamaged chairs. I call, and they stop just short of accusing me of damaging their delicate chair, tell me the leather is not covered by their warranty, and that they will touch it up onsite "as a courtesy." But imagine that drawn out over 2 weeks of condescending and stressful conversations. Bottom line: ok furniture, terrible quality control, and incredibly unhelpful and stressful customer service. Only buy if you have tons of patience and tons of free time to deal with this mess. read more

The consultants don't work as a team and are 100% focused on their individual sale, or you as a potential customer, it screams commission based incentive. Once you've made your purchase good luck trying to deal with anyone at the store who isn't the associate who sold you the piece. You feel like you are inconveniencing the person at the other end of the phone. It's ridiculous to experience how counterintuitive it is. If I could provide less than a star I would. My husband and I ordered a bed on 8/9/21. The lag time was 6 weeks - not a large deal. However, when I reached out mid-September to get a status check I was told "only 2 more weeks". Not a large deal, right? Right. Regardless I was confused why I had received 0 email communication regarding the delays. Albeit I marked my calendar to reach out end of September (when everyone from the online chat mentioned it would be ready). Here I am almost 7.5 months pregnant wondering when I will receive our new King bed (trying to make our current Queen work). Just found out its delayed a FULL MONTH. No communication - no emails - no phone calls - nothing. This has been the WORST customer experience of all stores I have ordered from (and most having several week delays). I repeat do not order from here. Take your money to Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware, etc. More communication - more updates - less time spent being frustrated. The quality of their furniture is excellent and we are so glad we went there instead of Belfort. We got really great deals and customer service. This review is strictly on the store experience and the expectations for the quality of furniture when it is delivered. Made the trip to Arhaus in Tyson's this morning. My wife and I are moving from 850 sq feet to 6,000 square feet so its time to start buying some furniture to fill the space. Arhaus was recommended to me by a friend who had a great wedge couch from there after my wife and i had not had any luck at the usual large chain stores (C&B, Restoration Hardware, Room & Board, etc). Our target room is the family room to get started so we wandered into the store around 10:30 AM and started looking around. The showroom is great, similar to the space you get with the chain stores. We had briefly considered ordering a couch sight unseen from Lee Industries but spending $4,000 on a couch without sitting in it is a terrible idea no matter the reputation of the manufacturer. There were other customers browsing but we were approached by Sue who was extremely pleasant to work with. Let me just interject that she knew the floor layout very well and spent as much time with us as we needed. I dress prettily sloppily on the weekend so spending close to 2 hours with myself and my wife as a commission based sales associate on a Saturday doesn't necessarily equal a sale. She was very professional and continued to walk us through different pieces, eventually moving on to the fantastic fabric selection. They were having an upholstery special and we customized the fabrics on the specific pieces we were interested in. Even after writing up the order, I still walked away in order to make sure Crate & Barrel had nothing in stock that I was overlooking. We walked away without purchasing anything and no promise of coming back after spending 2 hours with Sue the Sales Associate. A brief stay in Crate & Barrel revealed the major difference in quality between the two stores. C&B couches and chairs felt like junk after what we just sat in. So we headed back to Arhaus and placed the order for a couch, 2 chairs, and an ottoman all in custom fabrics. Can't wait for the new centerpieces of the family room. read more

If you like your furniture to just be pretty to look at and don't plan on actually using it, you may be happy with Arhaus products. We are a real family of 5 and found that the products do not hold up to everyday use. We have purchased several items over the years. The final straw was when we purchased the Daphune 60" round table 3 years ago. Within 6 months there were discoloration spots and scratches on the wood table. We cared for the table exactly the way we were told to. We used place mats daily and coasters. They replaced the table top at our cost. Then 2 years later, same problem occurred. The table is not properly finished or for real use as a dining table as it does not hold up. After explaining this to the concierge. I was told. Warranty does not cover every day use and wear and tear. Well, this I would not call wear and tear. I would call this a table that is made to look at and not for actual use. What a waste of money and time. They do not stand behind their products. ***2/24/21 update. I did reach out to Arhaus responding to the comment they posted below. Arhaus - Furniture store - Edina Mn - Buyer Beware. August 2017, ordered several pieces of furniture, including a custom chair and 2 custom sofas (74" length & 46" depth and 94" length & 46" depth. November 2017 rec'd damage chair with tags removed, rec'd both sofas 2"+ shorter in length and depth, one sofa has tags for Crate and Barrel, the othe Arhaus, very odd. Also, purchased extra insurance for all pieces. I was told the documents for the additional insurance on all pieces would be delivered with the furniture, it wasn't. Called and worked with concierge service and directly with store manager to resolve issues and have correct furniture ordered and delivered. Both concierge service and manager informed me that the new furniture would be correct and the furniture insurance douments would be deliverd with the new/corrected furniture, but the new furniture would not be delivered until some time in February 2018. The store manager stated that for my inconvenience he would reimburse me $750. Feb 2018. New furniture delievered, sofas still the wrong size. Nor, did I receive the insurance docs or the promised check. Because the sofa were not correct I refused delivery. Spoke to the store manager, Robert and he said he would get back to me, that was a week ago. I have left several voice messages, but he has not returned any of my calls. Spoke to the concierge service, Rachel stated that because this is a custom piece it can be 2" shorter in lenghth and depth than what I order, are you kidding me? No where in any of the documentation I receive states anything of this nature. If you ordered a sofa that is advertised as such but send items 2+ inches shorter in length and depth isn't that false advertisement? Yes, it is. I have no other recourse then to pursue litigation in order to obtain a full refund, which I plan on doing as soon as I speak to my attorney. read more
