I called and texted with their customer service team multiple times and received the most ridiculous response ever! I sent the first three pictures as requested. Their response was they would send the plastic pieces for the base and then send a technician. I pointed out the metal had actually broken under each screw and the representative admonished me, telling me I wasn't listening and I would have to wait to receive the base plastic. Whatever you do, do not buy a table from Arhaus. They lie to you about the surface. We spent over $6k on a Petra stone table that they promised us over and over had a protective coating on it, and that you just couldn't put anything hot directly on it. Well, even one drop of water will leave a permanent discoloration on the surface, and they will not stand by the product or do anything to help. So now I have a very expensive table with ring marks from a water glass and no way to fix it or be compensated for it. The products look great in the store and are horrible once you have them at home. Stay away from this store if you value your money. read more

We've purchased 17000 dollars worth of furniture thru Arhaus. They delivered 2 sets of chairs with a 6 to 8 week delivery time that were improperly made. We ended up going with a less expensive set from their store. Recently we purchased a large Mirror after being hung for a couple of days the screws pulled out. Subsequently, we had damage to our wall, door, an art glass window. Radio silence from the company, numerous calls from us. Yuck read more

The list is long on why this is a one star review. I will be brief and try not to bore you. 1. It took around 8 months to get all our furniture. Multiple furniture arrival date delays over several months. Not once did we get a call after a missed arrival date. We always had to call Arhaus regarding the status. 2. On the positive side, we received a discount because of the delays. However, it took three iterations to get their offered discount right. Not surprisingly, their repeated miscalculations of the discount were never in our favor. 3. Arhaus asked for full payment a month before the final delivery of the furniture occurred. Then two recliners which we'd waited 8 months for were delivered damaged and with missing parts. 4. The missing part on one recliner was the power adapter without which the recliner can't operate, making the recliner essentially an expensive chair. We were told we would receive the power adapter quickly in order to be able to use the recliner. It is now 7 days after delivery and we have received no communication as to when Arhaus will get the power adapter to us. BOTTOM LINE: Non-existent customer service, no furniture quality control, and prices much above what we would expect related to the service we actually experienced and the product we finally received. read more

Purchased a Remington sofa and it's so uncomfortable. Told no return possible after 14 days for any reason. It takes weeks for a sofa to break in. I gave it 30 days and it's definitely not getting better. Mattress can be returned at 60 days but not a couch?!? I'm horribly dissatisfied with my expensive uncomfortable couch. I ordered Thanksgiving dishes first week in September. Half showed up within a week. The rest showed up November 28, 5 days after Thanksgiving and after my company was gone. All the dishes I paid full price for and I didn't get to use have since gone on sale. Ugh. I made many phone calls, sent emails and messages inquiring about the location of my order, and even visited the store the week before Thanksgiving. I was "disconnected" by phone 3 times. The "chat" never got back to me, and the lady in the store who promised they would arrive on time was clearly incorrect. This is a high end store with dollar store customer service. Buyer Beware! Do not buy from Arhaus! Terrible customer service and the furniture is garbage for the price you pay. We have had our couch for 3 years and it has broken twice now. You would think this was high quality furniture but it is not. The first time the couch broke they ordered the wrong parts to fix it and had to reorder them. Which meant rescheduled appointment times. It took a long time to finally get it fixed. I could get past that one. The second time however has been a nightmare! Communication is terrible from both Arhaus as well as their technicians. They have rescheduled appointments and it takes 2 months to get a new one. We are going on 6 months now with our couch being broken. Every month that goes by it gets worse. The service companies they use do not care about taking care of costumers. The sales staff will say anything to get you to buy. We specifically chose the color fabric we have because they told us it wouldn't be discontinued. We wanted the option to add to the couch if we wanted to. Guess what? They discontinued it a year later. We will never buy from this company again. Save your money and go to a different furniture store that cares about their customers and the quality of the furniture they sell. read more

We ordered a 3 piece landsbury sectional. When we first went in Dana was super helpful as we tested every couch in the show room. We came back another time and ordered with Eric. He suggested a variety of fabric and we were able to very quickly nail down a winner! The whole process was very easy. The couch was delivered today. Well, most of it. One piece was missing. I called the Tyson's arhaus and Catherine and Eric were able to locate our missing piece and it should arrive tomorrow. These things happen, and I appreciate how Eric and the team handled the issue on their end UPDATE: The missing section was promptly located and delivered, and Eric very graciously refunded the delivery charge for the delay. We've had the couch for about a year now and it has held up beautifully. Still looks new- even with the dog and the kids and most of our meals on it every day. That crypton fabric is no joke. I will 100% be ordering all my future sofas from Arhaus. read more

The furniture looks nice when you go to look at it and they are great at catering to your needs while in the store but god help you if you have an issue. They won't respond to emails. I spent $16k at the store. One item being a $10k Brentwood leather couch. The cushions are misshaped and don't line up at all. (Pictures below show just one area of concern) The couch is extremely uncomfortable. I called immediately to report the issue. Sent pictures to the concierge department as well as the store manager. After 3 weeks of emails to them they responded but now won't confirm what will be done to fix the issue. And this is all after waiting 16 weeks to get my items. Unfortunately I cannot recommend you shop here which makes me sad because they seemed so great when I picked my items out. At this point I would like to return the couch. read more

They will say the Retail price for an item (for example) is $999 and on sale for $549...and then a few months later all of a sudden the same item has a retail price of $1299 but you can get it on sale for $899. Do not trust the estimate provided for ship date....this is not going to be true. While I have few complaints about the quality of the furniture we have purchased over the years from Arhaus, I will no longer be shopping with them after a very poor customer service experience. My advice for potential buyers would be to purchase at your own risk. Their return policy is atrocious and they are unbending regardless of how long you've been a loyal customer. Our most recent purchase was for dining room chairs (6) and when they arrived at our home, they are not to scale with our current dining table which we also purchased at Arhaus a few years ago. We initiated a return within the 14 day return window, but they don't return fees, charge a 10% restocking fee, and charge a delivery fee to pick the items up. I asked if I could return the chairs to the store (they were not special order or custom) and I was told that they had to go back to the warehouse. After all is said and done, my mistake is costing me about $1000 that I will not be getting back. Lesson learned and they've lost a customer in the process. read more

Arhaus customer service at the store itself is worst in class. Ordered a $9K sofa November 27 and not only was it supposed to be here March 26, then they said April 26, now they say May 27. It is awful and they tell me how the sofa is made to justify keeping $4,500 I put down as hostage. The store says "call the customer service line, we are just sales people". Instead of reading from a system, they need to do research, call the factory, and provide real dates vs. fake dates that keep moving month by month. Now I have a planned party in May with no sofa. If I would have known the date that is quoted to me by #arhaus for my sectional to arrive was a complete lie I would have went with a more reliable company. I was told my sofa would be here beginning of sept. Called at the beginning of sept and was told sept 17 it would arrive to the Ohio warehouse. I called again today to verify and I was told oct 8th. I was then told the dates they give are pretty much bogus. It's extremely sad because this would be my first purchase from Arhaus. I was expecting to purchase a lot more furniture from this company. I was confused about the low ratings at Arhaus. After reading the reviews, I've come to the conclusion that Arhaus is great if nothing goes wrong, but apparently a horrible mess if problems arise and you're sent into the corporate vortex of customer service. We were lucky, and our new dresser was purchased and delivered with no problems. The store is aesthetically pleasing, although a little confusing as things are spread out a bit haphazardly. We were only looking for a dresser, and needed some help locating the different dressers hiding in various collections around the store. The dresser we chose was on sale, and after some pleading, we got a 5% discount--essentially, free delivery. The piece we received seemed sturdy, and didn't have any scratches or defects. We were kept updated on our four-hour delivery window, and then later a two-hour delivery window. The delivery occurred on time, and Mike was a genius in acrobatically maneuvering an over-sized piece of furniture through narrow doors and angles that seemed smaller than the dresser, Cirque du Soleil style. Also, delivery wasn't outsourced but came in a huge Arhaus truck. Service was friendly from the showroom to our bedroom. I do agree that retail prices are high; the sale prices seemed to be a more appropriate price point. Wait for a sale, and cross your fingers that you don't get sent to corporate customer service! read more

Sold me a scam program called worry free protection. Paid $400 at the urging of a sales person after they talked me into buying a light colored DUNE sofa. Brochure says it covers dye-transfer from dark colored clothing. Now they won't fix it. You spend $5K on a couch that you think is quality. It's not. Called Customer service (they call it concierge). They told me it's a 3rd party company and it's out of their hands. What's funny - is just about every advertisement and picture on instagram and facebook is a light couch. Buyer BEWARE on custom orders... you may receive a non-returnable item that isn't as advertised. I ordered the custom Branson Sectional back in October 2020 and just received it last week (I know that furniture orders are delayed everywhere so that's not my complaint)... I had carefully measured my room for a large sectional and eagerly awaited a beautiful new couch for months. Much to my surprise when it arrived, my husband and I looked at each other and both said "it looks so small." My heart sank as I thought maybe I'd measured wrong but a quick look at the full dimensions on the PDF I requested from customer service, compared to the measurements I was taking (pictures below) shows that the couch is over 10 inches overall smaller than advertised. The dimensions were supposed to be 108"x108" and 32" tall. As you can see in the pictures below, the couch is barely 28" tall (maybe 30" when I fluff the pillow up) and more like 104"x104". I have carefully reviewed the contract that I signed and it states that dimensions could be off "up to 2 inches" (also seems ridiculous for a $7500 couch) but I get that some custom items may have variations.... but my dimensions are MUCH further off than 2 inches. I also wanted to note that is has cheap-looking plastic feet that weren't mentioned in the description (pictured below). That was my fault for not inquiring about the material of these, but I assumed they would be solid wood like the rest of the frame. I've purchased several couches over the years from more discounted stores like West Elm and CB2 that at least have real wood legs, not plastic with a cheap wood pattern on them. I would have expected more from Arhaus. I'm giving the couch two stars because the fabric is really nice and the fill is better than other couches I've had. I just wish more than anything that I had received a couch that was the 108"x108"x32" as advertised, not 104"x104"x28" ... really disappointed. read more

Who knows if the furniture is any good or not. I signed a document that estimated 10/29 for delivery. Told last week there could be a few weeks delay. I called yesterday and was told "well, maybe the middle of January". Was told by Jennifer at Tysons she would send them an email asking for clarification and maybe get back to me in a few days. You would think that when a customer's promised delivery is extended by at least 3 months that would rate a phone call and an immediate response. If there was a negative 5 rating that is what I would give. Worst experience ever. Was sold a damaged couch from Arhaus and it has been over 8 months with no remedy. They lied about sending swatches, never called back to remedy the situation, were rude, and demonstrated zero accountability. When I tried to call was on hold for 45 minutes waiting for a representative. Even tried calling two of the stores and no one ever called me back. Opened a dispute with my credit card company and only then did they consider contacting me...still no resolution. The price of the furniture is not at all in line with the level of customer service. Picked up a dining table with the help of the manager, JD. Very helpful and personable guy. He apologized about our delivery experience and gave us a good deal on the table. This table was already assembled and we just took it out to our car with the help of some of the store staff. When we got home however we found that a piece was missing from the underside of the table. Next time we were at the mall we dropped in on JD and he said that he'd look into getting the part. Their customer service is awful! I had chairs that were "leather" but after time they cracked, flaked and looked so bad I could even give them away. Arhaus employees had admitted that particular chair had problems but when I sent pictures of how bad they were they might as well have laughed in my face! No sorry, no admitting what I already knew, that the material was defective. We ordered a simple pillow cover and a Christmas tree skirt (Both in stock), 2 weeks later and the order still hasn't "Shipped"...However I have been told by 3 different people that the order has shipped, but cannot provide any tracking information because the order "hasn't shipped"...When the customer service person can't provide any further information they just pass me along to the next person without any context to the issue. My experience there and with my salesman was completely horrible from beginning to end. I ordered a petrified wood table. It has jagged edges c. I also bought the same set of chairs that were in display with that table. The chairs were painted wood chairs. I wrongly assumed that the chairs were treated wit me a coating to i Prevent them from chipping when they came into contact with the jagged edges if they es me. That was an incorrect assumption. Immediately after I took delivery of the chairs they began to chip. Over a year later I am still waiting for the replacement chairs. Every time I call I'm told they will be here in two to three weeks . That's been going on for three months now. Then I also ordered flatware but the salesperson failed to tell me they were silver plated so the minute I put them in the dishwasher they tarnished and had to be returned. I also bought a structurally defective chandelier that would never sit still on top of my table so that it was parallel but kept circling the table so that had to be e changed. The drafting table I purchased was delivered scratched and the top had to be replaced and thus morning I put my elbow in the table and it tilted almost straight down to the floor and I had to catch my brand new MacBook Pro before it crashed onto my floor. Full disclosure, this review is strictly based on browsing Arhaus and the customer service my wife and I received in the store. The style is modern eclectic with a color palette that doesn't deviate too far from neutrals, organics, and includes industrial elements. While visiting, Tyson's corner I was lured in by the similarity to my own aesthetic preferences. We were greeted a few minutes after entering by a warm customer service representative who answered our questions and offered to answer others should they have arisen. The location is quite large for furniture store in a mall. All told, my wife and I spent about 30 to 45 mins browsing and aspiring to buy items to furnish our home. We picked up a magazine to keep browsing and will be back the next time we're in the area to visit again. read more

Worse than a car salesman! We went to the Kenwood Ohio (Cincinnati) store in August of this year. (2023). We specifically asked to see only furniture that they had "in stock" since we needed it by the middle of September. We bought a large sofa, 2 chairs, a dining room table, 4 chairs, a bed and headrest, 1 coffee table, 2 side tables and a full dresser. (VERY EXPENSIVE). The purchase was based on getting everything in 3 weeks or less. (That would have been around September 15th. When nothing was delivered and no delivery date in site, we heard multiple excuses. I give the store manager credit, as she agreed to a 10% discount AFTER the delivery was completed. Well, the first load showed up in early late September but was missing over half of the items. They said it would be in the following week. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. Then they said the first of October. That didn't happen. Then the next week. That didn't happen. Here we are now, on October 28th waiting for the delivery that never showed. Now, they say it will be in late November. I understand "you get what you pay for", and that is why we have continued to work with this company over the years. However, this will be the last time and I would recommend that you don't pay in advance on any future orders. Feels like a complete scam and not what should be expected from a high end store. BUYER BEWARE!!!! I've been waiting for this Hattie cabinet since January of this year. It was finally delivered in August but 2 delivery men dropped it right in front of my home as it fell off their little dolly. ‍ It was just too heavy for them. It totally broke and was too damaged to keep so I had to decline the delivery. Arhaus told me they would send me another one and would be delivered the end of September, which is the end of this month. Arhaus also told me it's at the delivery company. I never received any info or a tracking # on this. So I called Fragile PAC and they have no information that a cabinet is to be delivered to me. I keep getting the run around from Arhaus. This has been THE WORST experience ever. I PAID in FULL $4,000 including shipping back in January... 10 MONTHS AGO for the 46" glass Hattie cabinet that I don't even have. ‍NOT WORTH IT ORDERING! Wish I had read the reviews before buying. We were told our order would be in at 4-6 weeks. It was not. I called to check the status and was told they were waiting for 1 chair (out of 5-how do you custom make 4 chairs and not the 5th at the same time???). They told me it was due in one week. 2 weeks later I called again and was told I could only speak to the original salesperson( I was not told this the last time I called) she got on the phone fairly quickly and told me that custom takes 8 weeks or even 10 so I was lucky that they even had 4 of the chairs and a table I had ordered. I explained that I had talked to someone 2 weeks previously and gotten a different story. she told me that I should have only spoken to her because nobody else cares about anybody else's orders. If you ignore the fabric pilling (which, I don't want to spend too much time on since this is probably specific to the type of fabric I picked, which wasn't one of their standards.. although it was supposed to be "high performance"...), the couch looks great. I love how it looks in my living room. My entire living room is essentially Arhaus; the design looks beautiful, and I love it. But the love stops there. Sitting on the couch is SO uncomfortable. After a few months, the support from the cushions where you use them most is gone. It's like sitting on the wood frame. I'm so incredibly disappointed that I fell for this "quality" furniture line they give you, when really I've had MUCH better couches from Rooms To Go for less than half the cost. Do NOT buy your couch here- you're wasting your money. As far as my other pieces, I feel like I really just (over)paid for the design. The coffee table I have already is losing it's finish (and my husband and I are OCD about using coasters), so I'm not convinced this was made well either. I looked for months for the correct sectional for our new home and finally found something that we liked in October of 2016. We waited 10-12 weeks for the couch to come in, only with black ink to be stained into the bottom of the fabric, all around the bottom skirt. After calling/emailing a handful of times, I finally reached customer service, who FINALLY agreed to send me a new couch as I did by the warranty, it took another 10-12 weeks to get the 2nd couch in... in April 2017. I Received the second couch, WITH STAINS!!! They offer no discount or even return phone calls. So I have paid about $5,000 for a couch I've never even seen yet! It's almost July 2017 now and I haven't gotten an email or phone call back! I purchased a cowhide rug 2 months ago. At that time Arhaus charged my credit card for 1/2 of the cost of the rug. After two months that went by with no updates from Arhaus i called to find out where it was. They said i would have it in a week once i called. It finally arrived dirty, written on, and the wrong rug. i then wrote to the concierge email and their response did not include an apology.
