Upon dropping off the wheels, I was met with a very friendly individual who was honest and straightforward. I dropped my wheels off and the next day they're ready as if they've never been damaged. Pricing was very fair for these wheels, since they're forged and brushed, at $185 per wheel. Absolutely glad these guys are around. Discount Tire removed my two front rims and installed my factory rims because I wanted the two front rims to match each other while that chrome rim were being repaired. On March 18th, 2026 my friend took my rim to LoneStar Wheel Repair and the repairs were completed, we paid $154.50 and picked up the rim up on March 20th. On March 20th 2026, Discount Tire removed the factory rims, replaced the chrome rims, put the repaired rims on the opposite side. On March 21st 2026 when I got in my car the air was back down to 19, so I called LoneStar Wheel Repair, but they close at noon on Saturdays. So, I went back to Discount Tire they checked the tires/rim and it was determined it wad still bent and needed to be repaired again. On Monday, March 23rd, 2026, I called LoneStar Wheel Repair and was told to bring it in. This time I drove over and when I got out of the car, the Owner, immediately guaranteed me that it was a different rim. Even before she liked at it. The, owner insisted they "mark" all repaired rims but refused to let me see these so called markings. Instead of even trying to understand what happened, she accused me of damaging another rim within less than 24 hours and blamed "the way I drive." Completely unprofessional! They refused to take responsibility and charged me another $154.50 to fix what was clearly the same rim. No accountability, no customer service, and very disrespectful treatment. I would not trust this business especially if you drive a nice vehicle and expect careful honest service. This experience made me feel dismissed, disrespected, and taken advantage of, please stay away

Spent $3,000 on preventative, high mileage Audi recommended maintenance for a 2018 Audi Q3…read more Specifically requested cooling system, hoses, belts, and timing chain check for high mileage Audi scheduled maintenance. Was told the cooling system was fine and the timing chain was in great working order, no need for maintenance. 2 weeks later the water pump leaked and the timing chain needed replacing, along with camshaft positioning. I took it somewhere else for the work. Spending another $3,000 but this time the work is actually being done. $6,000 total for what I asked 5th Gear to do the first time. They were nice people and attentive and followed up the first few days. But once the vehicle had problems for what they were asked to do, I decided to take it somewhere else place else for that work.
