This place is good! *EDIT* Food- First of all, I so appreciate the vegetarian empanada options. I got the spinach and egg empanadas and they were delicious. I had three and I wish I had 30. Coffee- I got the Mayan Mocha (iced) and I was actually shocked by how good the mocha was. You can tell a mocha is high quality when even the powder is tasty. There was mocha sprinkled on the whipped cream and when I ate it- I knew this was going to be the best mocha I had ever had. It was perfectly sweet and not at all bitter, like lower quality mochas tend to be. All in all, the coffee was a beautiful and delicious treat. Definitely the best mocha i've ever had. *EDIT* I got the medium when I wrote this review, I went back the next day and got the large- it was not good, it tasted watered down, as if they add more milk with the larger size and not more mocha. Could just be who made it this time, but I would stay safe and get the small or medium. End edit. Ambiance- The decor and feeling of the space was a masterpiece. Initially I was just runny in but I HAD to sit in one of their beautiful chairs and take in the space. Everything is gorgeously rustic and very well maintained. Customer service- The staff was very sweet the first time i went especially. The first time I went a nice lady made my drink. She asked me if i wanted whip or no whip and I asked for whip, she added some chocolate sauce and mocha on top and made it pretty and tasty. The second time a guy made my drink, he didn't ask for whip or no whip and when i got my drink I realized I wanted whip and hadn't asked so I went to ask. He tried to charge me extra which was a little surprising since he hasn't asked but he changed his mind. He didn't add any of the good stuff the other lady added and when I tasted it (as mentioned in the 'coffee' section) it was very watered down. I actually ended up dumping it out at home, it was not good and I felt like I wasted my money (literally dumped it down the drain lol) So i guess customer service depends on who you get that day? So Delicious and am going back to try more! First time visit and had read great comments from others on a local Facebook page- decided to give it a go after finishing up with an appt. Let the person behind the counter know it was our first time- she made great suggestions and we loved EVERYTHING that we had and honestly we were sad that we had not purchased more. Their Dulce de Leche is so silky smooth and just a creamy delicious heaven in your mouth. Their packaging is very professional and I will absolutely be back for not only my personal experience, but to purchase and take to clients for appointments as their offerings are special, delicious, and beautiful. WOW! This is such a hidden gem. You walk in and there are cases lined with tantalizingly beautiful and fresh baked goods. The back has various Argentinian groceries and staples. They have really tasty uncommon takes on lattes (coconut, charcoal, etc.) and they taste great. The empanadas are delicious. I got the spinach and cheese, and although it was a tad bit salty, it was so hot and crispy and full of flavor that I didn't mind so much. My friends got the brisket one and they said it was amazing. They make them fresh and you can smell the hot ones coming out of the oven--makes it hard to say no! As for the sweets, everything tasted as good as it looks. They have French, American, and Argentinian pastries, and they make all of them very well. I also think it'd be hard for you to find a good place that makes French pastries with Argentinian flavors this good! Overall this is a wonderful quick stop for a snack, or a quiet/cozy place to meet with friends for coffee or to do work or study. Came here on a Saturday morning, it was pretty busy. We got 2 mocha iced coffees, cake pops and an eclair. They had a huge selection, the coffee was good but a little strong for me, I really liked the cake pops and the eclair was pretty good. Great little coffee shop with fresh pastries & sweets. It doesn't have over the top service it's very chill. You walk in & order your treat, choose if you would like a coffee or cappuccino, etc. Then pick a seat. They don't bother you, so you can come here to catch up on your reading or to meet with a friend. Love this local bakery. The flavors remind me of things I ate as teen surrounded by Hispanic culture. The simple palmeritas, decandent roscas (rosquitas?) with whipped cream and fresh strawberries, the mini fruit tarts, and alfajores is my favorite order and the full cakes look wonderful. Definitely ordering one for my next birthday. Staff is always attentive. They don't even laugh at my attempts to pronounce the dessert names. I had this super warm, flaky buttery ham and cheese roll which inhaled In my car. Needed a napkin for my greasy hands but who cares when something is that good. The spinach ones are super earthy, since it's packed with whole spinach leaves. The pionono is like a tres leche cake mixed with a Swiss roll. Wet in texture, plenty of peach taste, creamy overall, with a light amount of sugar. The malitas was similar, except a cube shape and way more texture. There's a lot going on texture wise. Even though it Looks super sweet, it's not. If anything, it's slow so you can fully distinguish the flavor looks super sweet, it's not. Was looking for a coffee shop after car shopping in Irving, and happened upon this place. Happy accident! This place is AWESOME! The cafe is charming, and very Argentinean. Beautiful leather furniture and heavy wood pieces. This is a very upscale and comfortable place to spend some time. The food is delicious. We had breakfast empanadas (brisket and eggs), and they were perfect. My husband ordered a pastry that he absolutely loved. Everything in the case looked delicious, and I am literally stopping myself from going back and ordering one of everything (plus, there is now a line of people waiting to order food - I've never been so grateful for a crowd!). The coffee is great as well. I just got drip coffee (dark and delicious!), but they make a lot of espresso drinks as well. This place is a keeper! I will be back! read more

This is such a hidden gem! I used to come here weekly a few years back when I worked close by and lived on this side of town. Recently stopped in after the lunch rush hour and was surprised they were still busy as ever. Even so, they kept the line moving while still providing excellent customer service. Their empanadas are mouthwatering from the filling to the perfectly crisp crust. I love that they offer bite size options in regards to deserts too! I almost can never decide what to order in the sweet depart. They do have larger portions available as well as entire cakes - the majority of which are beautifully decorated with fresh fruits. Several of the mini servings also include fruits, or you can opt for one of their vibrantly colored macaroons, or an adorable petit fours. If you like to enjoy some Java while indulging in your sweet tooth, they have a several options and always tastes fresh. I always order their vanilla latte and it has yet to disappoint! I've also ordered some of their mini desserts ahead of time for girls nights in pre-Covid and I have never had any leftovers. I purchased 1 dozen + 1/2 dozen assorted empanadas for a team breakfast at work and they were a hit! Everyone enjoyed the empanadas even those who had never tried one before. Was out and about and decided to give this place a try. The decor of this place is really nice and quaint enough for about twenty people. I really liked the desert presentation, lots of color. We ordered a chocolate caramel cookie, cheese cake and tres leche with strawberry cream filling. The cheese cake wasn't rich and didn't really have much of a cheese cake flavor. I found this place through yelp and after looking at all the pictures I just had to try it! This cafe is a great place to chill with friends because they have comfortable couches and if it's a nice day outside they also have patio chairs. They have an amazing selection of pastries that look so beautiful! I got the roscas which is a strawberries and creme pastry. It was delicious and I definitely recommend it! The fruit tart was a little difficult to eat because the crust was a little hard but it definitely looked perfect. I also got besitos which is a small puff pastry with a sweet caramel sauce in the middle. It was amazing! Definitely get more than 3 of those. I'm so happy I found this little coffee and dessert shop. It's filled with lots of decadent and sinfully good sweet treats. Too many too choose from and lots of things filled with dulce de leche. The location is difficult to find, unless you happen to see it off beltline close to the soup and salad. Behind several restaurants and buildings. I've driven by it actually thinking they were closed. The closing time is not posted and the open sign is never on. So yesterday I took on the challenge to actually open the door and see if indeed they were in business. To my surprise, they were. Thankfully so. Beware! Many of the deserts have labels but they aren't in English. The employee was super sweet to help me make a few decisions and told me what was in the baked goods. Prices are super reasonable compared to a Starbucks and their desserts. There are plenty of comfy chairs to sit and relax while chatting with friends. They also sell bags of coffee too. I gave it 4 stars due to the location, no hours posted, and never turning on the Open sign. I can't wait to try the cakes next time. Enjoy read more

This place blew me away. Primarily because I did not expect such goodness! I am delighted to know that Irving has a place filled with so much culture and so much goodness. This is one thing that has always disturbed me about Irving. I had yet to discover a real coffeehouse (other than Starbucks) with a real coffeehouse feel. I stumbled upon a gem with this one! I was highly impressed with pretty much every aspect of my visit. I was a little worried with it being in a strip mall that doesn't have much to offer, but as soon as I walked in, those concerns became null and void. As soon as you walk in, you will feel 100% different than you did when you pulled into the strip mall. I am giving 5 stars because of the culture and goodness this place brings to Irving, which is in desperate need. Especially on the side of town in which it is located. We were just passing by, so we got our desserts to go. I can't wait to go back, dine in and have some good espresso whilst I read. Seems like a great place to do so. We ordered the strawberry and chocolate masitas and they were absolutely amazing. The texture and flavor were similar to tres leches cake, which is a fave of mine, so I was won over by that, alone. We also ordered the caramel-filled lenguas and they were perfectly light and perfectly flaky. Another winner with those. We also tried a few other dessert variations and they were also delicious.
