Item ordered: Veggie Pho Service: Lots of staff ready to help! Value: Prices are reasonable, and even more so when you make it a large bowl and have some to take home! The Review: Step into the Areca jungle world for some top notch pho. My soup was full of flavor and immensely satisfying. Are a was fun to get together with friends and have a nice meal. Their bar has a romantic vibe, and the place would be good for dates. They do however need to work on their raw fish/sushi presentation which was very sparse and just fish in its packaging. Much better to have good visuals to sell.

A great meal overall! The outside is very unassuming but you walk in and the interior is surprisingly cozy and classy The food also came pretty quickly! (A week night that wasn't too busy) I got the bun cha and I loved the variety in the bowl, you get meatballs, egg rolls and grilled pork all in one! And it's a very large portion, couldn't finish it. Great value and great vibes :)

The revamped menu at Le's is awesome, although I miss their Vietnamese rice vermicelli dishes. There is a nod to the Vietnamese in the pho selection but more of the menu real estate is now taken up by Japanese dishes- donburi, yakitori, soba, katsu and of course sushi. The food has gotten even better, in my opinion, with more attention paid to the plating. The dining space is also more elevated than the Le's of old- dark wood furniture, stemmed glass goblets, light jazz music piped in the background. Service is quick and attentive. I had a really pleasant birthday dinner here with family!

They're closed between 3pm and 5pm. It's not listed on their *website, their *Google listing, their *Apple listing, or even the *Front Door of the location!!! The only way you find out is by standing at the front door and an employee coming out and telling you. It's an unrealistic expectation to have people call the restaurant to see if they're open in the middle of the day when their main hours that are listed everywhere say that they are. So after you have paid for an Uber to take you all the way there and it's freezing out in the middle of the day, you get there, and they're closed. Zero effort is made to let you know in ALL of the appropriate places online, that they will not be serving you food after you've made a sacrifice and paid money to get to their location and give them your business. As a digital marketer, this is the type of thing that leaves a bad taste in your mouth, especially when the solution is a simple one. I'm out the money I spent on the Uber to get there and now I'm out more money to go somewhere else. Over a solution that takes 20 minutes and was not implemented, i'm highly inconvenienced and have had a horrible experience.

Asian fusion cuisine with modern lo-fi chill vibes. They renovated their place recently and it has a much younger and hip aesthetic. We came as a party of 2 on a Sunday evening and was able to get a seat quickly. The place is relatively small maybe able to seat 80 people with a very fancy bar area for maybe an additional 20. We ordered shrimp spring rolls and two bowls of pho, one with beef the other beef balls. The spring roll was fresh and well crafted - it didn't fall apart when dipping in their sweet sauce that was provided and the price was very fair. The pho bowls were also tasty but have very few toppings compared to other pho shops in the area. They just provide the usual raw bean sprouts on the side and some chopped onion and scallion with the meat in the broth. The broth overall was just light enough in right proportion with the rice noodles. tldr; neat and modern Asian fusion with reasonable prices

Sushi always hits the spot, and it's safe to say Le's Sushi Bar & Restaurant did not let me down. My gf ordered us 2 rolls each along with a side of Crab Rangoon (always a favorite). The ONLY reason I gave Le's a 4/5 was the long wait to pick up the food and the minimal parking out front. If you live in the area and are in walking distance I highly recommend, we also ordered the food on Valentine's Day so that could have explained the longer wait. The food itself was delectable and we ate it all! To make up for the long wait they gave us a free orange soda which was very thoughtful of the server. I will be going back for more of the sushi as it was fresh and well crafted. I want to emphasize again that the food was great and that means a lot coming from me, a sushi lover and food reviewer. Hats off to the sushi chef, I will see you again.

Came here on a Saturday evening for dinner and we were seated quite quickly. There weren't many others in the restaurant so the place was pretty quiet, but not in an uncomfortable way. There were a few folks eating alone as well, signaling that this place is likely a good place to enjoy a meal by yourself if you'd like pho or sushi! We ordered fast and the food came out pretty efficiently as well. The service was kind and really good with refilling waters! We both got the regular rare beef pho and for its price, it was definitely very tasty and had a nice portion. I'd for sure recommend this place for its delicious pho! The sushi was also surprisingly really good - very fresh tasting and well presented! I'm usually unsure about Asian places that serve food from different cuisines, but I have to say that Le's sushi was definitely something I would order again. Overall, I found this place to be a great spot for a quick pho or sushi fix. For its comfortable vibes and tasty food, I'd say that this spot is perfect if you're expecting a pleasant, relaxed meal. They also seem to have a pretty good breakfast deal - I can't wait to come back and try it!

Sushi was great. Drinks were delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Our server was prompt and attentive. Cute little restaurant, will definitely be back!

On my stop to check out MIT, decided I needed some soup to warm me up. So pho it is. The restaurants interior was not what I expected. It has more of a lounge look with a bar at left corner. I came during the ending of lunch time so they do offer lunch specials for bento boxes and some sushi sets. The server was friendly. I decided on Pho with beef. It was better than I expected but bowl was a little smaller than I expected (I'm used to CA sized bowls). Flavor was good and the beef was fresh. The spring rolls were ok. Overall solid spot. I didn't order any of their sushi offerings so cannot comment on them.

I have eaten at Le's Sushi Bar and Restaurant many times and it is a fantastic spot for lunch or dinner. The location is conveniently located in East Cambridge/Inman Square near the Lechmere green line stop. There is also plenty of street parking along Cambridge Street. There is a lot of indoor seating (as well as some outdoor seating in the summer). I ordered my dinner for pickup. The menu has plenty of sushi, Japanese, and Vietnamese options. I got miso soup, salmon deluxe, tuna deluxe, salmon avocado roll, and the eel cucumber roll (pictured). All sushi was very fresh and the miso portion was large. For sushi, it is priced reasonably as well. Overall, I definitely recommend Le's if you are looking for a convenient location and plenty of sushi/Japanese/Vietnamese options. Will be back again.

This place has fast become my weekly dinner excursion restaurant! They open a little later than other restaurants (10pm!! thank you!) and the food is solid. In a typical fashion of any restaurant that tries to do more than one type of Asian cuisine under one roof, they definitely fall short on the Japanese menu. Tonkatsu wasn't quite right, fried rice was OK, and the tempura batter they use is not in the traditional manner (it falls just under "deep fried" and that's it). I haven't had a chance try their sushi yet so will update later on that. However, where they do amazing with is their Vietnamese food options. Pho is so good, especially when the weather get's colder! The broth is flavorful and doesn't taste like they had some kind of pre-made thing, it tastes like it is freshly made and I always appreciate the proportion of the noodles to the protein! Highly recommend the grilled chicken pho, their grilled chicken is so delicious! I also love the vermicelli noodle bowls-- basically a brothless pho, with plenty of fresh veggies, noodle, fish sauce, and your choice of protein. The spring rolls I feel like could be more per plate (you only get 2 rolls for about $5) but I am a sucker for spring rolls so I always end up getting it anyways. A nice little side menu that they have are the kushiyaki-- grilled skewers with your choice of meats or veggies! Again, definitely better places for this, but sometimes it is fun to have the option to have a little grilled meat on the side. You won't be disappointed, but stick with the Vietnamese options on their menu :)

This was my first time dining in person at Le's after grabbing takeout a few times. In terms of food, everything was amazing and a great value! I ordered the beef stew pho and it was so flavorful. The portions were all huge, including the lunch bento box. Even the drinks were fantastic. My only complaint would be the actual dining experience. My group was the only one there at first, but it still took them a while to bring out the food and even drinks. The background music was a bit odd and fairly loud - it seemed like the same few instrumental songs were on repeat. Overall, it was worth the wait for the food!

Everything here is really good, but I highly recommend the nigiri - while it's a little pricy (standard pricing comparative to other restaurants), it is well worth it Service is quite fast and we felt like we were taken care of. One time, the server took the soy sauce bottle away from one table without warning and gave it to us, and then proceeded to do the same to us. However, in this rare case, the food quality and taste overpowered the service issues. Inside is lively, and cozy. They also have outdoor patio seating in the summer, which is lovely as well. This is a restaurant I wouldn't mind coming to over and over again.

After a long day at HBS we went back over the river to dine at Bosso Ramen. Located across the…read morestreet from the Harvard Commons, Bosso is an izakaya-style restaurant featuring ramen. On a wet, rainy Boston evening we thought hot ramen would be just the thing. The menu is built around locally-sourced ingredients structured in three categories: sharable, sushi, and ramen. They also offer a slate of Japanese beers and Nihonshu. We started with hot Nihonshu but the only choice served warm is Gekkeikan. Now, Gekkeikan is a standard Nihonshu which is a good, if not great, rice wine. And while Gekkeikan started in Kyoto, anything served in the US with its label is actually brewed in California. We wanted the Nambu Bijin served warm but were told that was not an option. Nanbu Bijin is a great varietal from Iwate Prefecture which was our preference. It's odd that this is only offered chilled. We really urge the management to serve all of its Nihonshu warmed. For shareables we ordered the shishito, spicy salmon, and torotaku. The shishito were nicely roasted and served with a light ponzu. The quality of the peppers was eceptional and the serving was generous. The sushi is served as a hand held wrapped in nori and features tsukemono. The spicy salmon was an amply portioned but the torotaku was a bit lean in terms of quantity. Having said which, all three apps were tasty and of superior quality. Bosso offers a compelling number of Ramens that differentiate not on broth, which is customary, but on degree of spice and the choice of meats. The broth here is a superb tonkotsu that would pass muster in Sapporo. Bosso also offers just one size which, in the event, was a more than satisfactory serving. We both opted for the umami version which is generously portioned with scallions and kikurage. The boiled egg was done to perfection - that happy place between a hard and soft boiled yolk. The pok was tasty but was wanting in terms of quantity. Each bowl included two very thin slices. At the end of the day, a great ramen should have more pork - either chasu or kakuni - so we found this to be a disappointment. Our server is from Shizuoka and we enjoyed hearing of her journey from Japan to Cambridge. She was attentive without being obtrusive. The interior is dark and practical and somewhat reminiscent of some of the great hole in the wall ramen shops we frequented in Tokyo. Overall, despite some blemishes, Bosso was an enjoyable meal and we will definitely make our way back in the future. It is busy so we recommend making reservations.

However, the seating is uncomfortable, for sure for the large parties. There were 8 of us, and we were perched on the uncomfortable high chairs. Food is okay, nothing exciting. Gyoza was not bad, chicken karaage was I think made from the dark meat which I personally don't appreciate. Karami ramen was not bad, nicely spicy. Very good service, attentive, friendly and timely, which was a saving grace for this visit. Note also that the place was super loud when we got to our table at 8 pm, it was impossible to talk.
