Love Ardsley Station! I'll use any excuse to go to Savannah and eat here! The burgers are great and a side of gnocchi is a must!

First off - I'd recommend making a reservation if you're looking to have dinner at Ardsley Station! They're very popular, which is understandable because they deserve every bit of those 5 red stars! Outdoor seating in March - what more can you ask for? I was informed when booking our table that they only had availability outside - heaters and blankets would be provided, if needed. It was a gorgeous crisp evening and the fireplace and heaters were the perfect touch. The outdoor seating is nice and elevated, not an afterthought! We started with the crispy fried mozzarella. It was the perfect balance of ooey gooey cheese and breading! It came with creole tomato sauce and a basil aioli for dipping -- both delicious. I had the beef tenderloin tips over gold mash potatoes, with a mushroom demi-glace and crispy onions on top! The flavors were perfect. The steak was tender. There were a ton of mushrooms. I do with there was a bit more steak and less mushrooms-- but then again, who wouldn't? My husband had the southern charm burger (pimento cheese, crispy onions, a special sauce). He said it was really good. He even mentioned how good it was the next day! We ended the meal by sharing a caramel salted crunch cake. It was amazing. OMG what a find!!!! We started off with the hosts (Tammy)with great recommendations for both food here and things to do in the area! She was spot on everything! Gerardo was our server and he is awesome too!!! We started off with devils eggs. Probably one of the most unique styles and great tasting I've had. Next was the calamari which was nothing like traditional calamari! Had a BbQ honey type glaze, with sausage and peppers! It was amazing. For the meal we had the station burger which was packed with flavor! Also the wedge salad was not a wedge it was romaine and everything was perfect! One word: YUM! And a few more: love the vibe! As a group of 6 (3 adult couples), we came here early evening for happy hour before attending a show. Our plan was to order apps, have a few drinks, then head out. My advice... make a resi (we barely found a spot in the bar), go for dinner & enjoy the whole dining experience. We will definitely be coming back to do that ourselves because we felt like we could have stayed here all night! The food was phenomenal, there wasn't one thing we ordered that we didn't like. To name drop a few: Truffle Fries (we may have ordered a second round...), Crispy Fried Mozzarella (that tomato sauce...), Calamari (bbq twist was different), Mussels (pro tip: dip the bread in the broth at the bottom!), Pork Belly (melts in your mouth, not as sharable), Fun Guy Burger (tasty!). I'm so glad I stumbled on this place on Yelp! My husband and I sat outside next to the fire pit, which created the perfect lighting for pretty much anyone and everyone. The cocktails were exceptional- they definitely have some talented people behind the bar. Our drinks were served with a side of care. My espresso martini with tequila is in my top 3 of all time. We started with the pork belly as an appetizer- this is a MUST order. It was cooked to perfection. We both had a "wow" reaction to the unique flavor. I had the Farm Salad with the tastiest Salmon! A solid four and a half stars. Service was friendly and competent, food came out promptly, and the restaurant has a good vibe. The food itself is the reason for the higher rating which is, of course, the point. Fried oysters as a starter were tasty and crispy,a little zing to the accompanying sauces. Wedge salad was straight forward and done well, pork chop was very good! The sauce was a touch sweet but it was a well cooked, moist chop and paired well with the root veg. This placed rocked. I'm visiting from out of town and went with my bestie who lives in Savannah. The service was incredible- Troy was our server and legit feel like he could have left his shift and hung out with us all day. So friendly and personable. The drinks also killed. I got a Bloody Mary to start and asked for it spicy and they *delivered*. Muddled jalapeños in the bottom gave me exactly the flavor profile I want in a spicy bloody. This was my favorite meal in Savannah, hands down. Cozy ambiance, wonderful service (thank you Gerardo!), excellent food -- Ardsley Station's got it all. My friends and I started with the pimento bruschetta and we were instant fans. The combination of flavors was unique and tasty, and the fresh peaches were such a nice touch (that too in Georgia, I mean come on). I'd really wanted to try the butter bean falafel as well but unfortunately they were out (maybe some other time!). I got the wild mushroom campanelle which was perfect -- al dente, gloriously mushroom-y, and the sauce was so light and airy. I'm not usually too fond of feta but in this context it was great. My wife and kids (ages 14 and 11) landed in Savannah on our way to Hilton Head. Had some time and since it was dinner, decided to show the kids a bit of Savannah and stop for a bite to eat. After a few false starts with AI's recommendations decided upon this one and we weren't disappointed! On the edge of a beautiful residential area the restaurant has great ambience and very friendly and helpful and attentive staff. Since the devil digs on their menu didn't have crab decided instead to go for the queso. It was delicious. Came with a Woodfire grilled bread as well as tortilla chips. My kids downed it. They then had an order of ribs. (also delicious over really tasty collard greens)as well as kids mac & cheese. The mac & cheese look like it was from the box. My kids were astounded with how it tasted. My wife had the shrimp grits, which was also delicious and I had the pan seared fish served over tomato, grits, and grilled vegetables. My wife and I agreed it was the best of all our dishes. She really enjoyed her cocktail, my kids had bottomless Shirley Temple and I had a mocktail, which is also tasty. We don't usually get dessert, but we're enjoying our meal so much that the four of us split the flourless chocolate cake and the caramel vanilla cake. My family loved both. They've got a great wine menu as well as a comprehensive bar, and cocktail menu. Will certainly recommend this place to anyone I know visiting Savannah. By the way, one of the things that made it so Great is the food quality was high-end, the staff made you feel at home, and the dining scene ranged from casual to Sunday best, and everyone look like they belonged. Hard to decide between the french onion burger and the mushroom gnocchi, but was able to get a side portion of gnocchi. It was incredible! One of the best I ever had. We enjoyed our server, but I can't give 5 stars as she first forgot one of our beverages and then one of the appetizers. I inquired about his burger rerecommendations and he gave me his! I decided to go with the Southern Charm Burger and fries! I added lettuce, tomatoe and onion. This restaurant was the meal highlight of our trip. We went to several local restaurants only to be slightly disappointed. They were definitely over hyped tourist trap destinations. Everything about this meal was excellent. The vibe/ambiance was so refreshing. I like to call it high end casual. You feel like you're in a really nice restaurant but without all the stuffiness of many 5 star places. Our drinks were amazing. My husband loves a good old fashioned but had been disappointed night after night. This drink had the correct Luxardo cherries not the horrific maraschino that had been in all of the drinks he had the nights before. He said it was the best old fashioned he'd had since we arrived. My drink was light and refreshing but still packed a good punch for a mixed drink. Our only mishap was our appetizer. The poutine was great and the gravy had a nice flavor and spice to it. Our mozzarella was still frozen in the middle but they immediately brought us new ones and they were great! They offered to comp them but we got what we needed and we're happy to pay for them. The meals were incredible. Hubs got the chicken and it was so flavorful and tender. I rarely enjoy chicken at a restaurant because so many places overcook them or they have no flavor outside of the sauces. This meat was flavored all the way through and juicy. I had the filet medium and it was cooked to perfection. We added the gnocchi Mac and cheese and sweet lord that was amazing. Our server Jordan/Jordon no sure how she spells it, was perfect. She made great recommendations and was very attentive to us and our anniversary night. I wish we lived in Savannah as we would go to this place all the time. The restaurant was packed on a Saturday night but there was bar seating available which worked out well because the main dining hall was super loud and the bar was actually acoustically more chill! The service was ok, though not super attentive at the bar. Our the deviled eggs and pimento bruschetta were both super delicious! My mushroom risotto was more like a 3/5 as it was fresh and delicious but didn't really match up to the description on the menu, in my opinion. What an incredible dining experience at Ardsley Station that I cannot wait to dine here again. You'll need to make a reservation and choose between inside or outside. If it's chilly they'll give blankets and turn on the portable heaters/fire. Inside is so cozy as well with some cute booths and a small bar seating area. We ordered a number of cocktails that all tasted so fresh, particularly loving the spicy mule. The food was just as good and I only wish I left space for dessert. We ordered truffle fries to start which was just . Then the wild mushroom gnocchi which was just delicious cheesy clouds. The shrimp & grits and ribeye were favorites with our group as well. The service was efficient but not overly available. Only complaint is the bugs once it's warmer but they offer bug spray and well that isn't the restaurants fault. Ambiance is quite chill; it's nice and casual but has a lovely ambiance to it. There's a small parking lot next to the building that can fill up quickly. From the very first phone call I knew this was going to be a very special experience. We needed special accommodations for one in our group. Tammy went above and beyond to ensure we had our reservation and that all was taken care of. Tammy met us on arrival to make sure everything was satisfactory. We felt spoiled before we even sat down. Our server Andrew simply doted over our group, while not interrupting so we could socialize. The food was Five Stars only because I can't give more. First we had the most incredible appetizers: bruschetta, pickled beets w tzatziki sauce, buttermilk fried oysters, and watermelon salad. Each one was out of this world! For dinner I had shrimp and grits, and it was the best I have ever had. The Tasso Gravy was simply divine! It had perfect balance - flavorful and spicy. The atmosphere is cozy and eclectic. The menu is varied with multiple choices from different tastes. Our service by Gabby was attentive and top notch. She gave us suggestions and we followed her lead with much satisfaction. We opted to share a pre fixed menu for Valentine's Day between us and the barbecued ribs and collards appetizer. The ribs were a shareable portion , moist and falling off the bone and the best collard greens, my husband even loved them! We then enjoyed the Harvest salad, exquisite flavors and a crisp, sweet flair of candied pecans and crispy kale. Not bitter at all! The dinner was Filet Oscar with crisp asparagus atop mashed potatoes, crab meat with bearnaise. The filet was a perfect medium rare and butter tender! To start, Chase is a rock star! He is knowledgeable, professional, and personable. He answered our questions and made excellent recommendations. The atmosphere is lively yet conducive to an intimate conversation. The place is full of light due to the many windows. There is a patio for outdoor dining with plenty of lighting, warmers, and a fireplace for those chilly evenings. The food was beautifully presented and delicious! I ordered the Wild Mushroom with Blackened Shrimp added, as recommended by Chase. The pasta for the dish is locally prepared at Frali Gourmet, an authentic Italian market/restaurant. This is an interesting one because Yelp suggests it as an Italian restaurant.... Just like Super Mario is Italian and not Japanese. Putting that aside, we ordered Bruschetta and what came was some toasts with something akin to pimento cheese. We also ordered clams and we got clams in a curry. My husband and I were driving through Savannah with our dog, and we needed to find a dog friendly spot to stop for lunch. I am so glad I came across Ardsley Station! It is the cutest spot. They have a lot of outdoor seating, and the inside is really nice. Dogs are only allowed on the patio, but it is covered / shaded. The menu is a little pricier than I would typically look for at lunch, but the food was delicious! My husband and I shared the following items: - Pimento cheese bruschetta with peaches, red pepper jelly, radishes ($13) - Hanger steak frites with station fries, chimichurri aioli ($28) It was all so good, but the bruschetta was my favorite. 10/10 recommend.
