Great breakfast and Spinach Pie. It's a beautiful restaurant, relaxing place to eat.

I have to say, this diner was much needed in the area, but it is the food that will keep you coming (and the coffee) The quite tangy pulled pork was right up my alley with great taste. The corn beef was excellent according to my son. The pastrami was a tad dry, but when I told the manager, he said with confidence, it will be attended to. Can't wait to try it again. All in all, a great start and will return soon to try the breakfast! read more

Took my two hungry sons here before a real estate closing since it was close to the lawyers office. Decor is really cool and I was very optimistic. Nothing like New York diners, and hard to have a bad experience. Well, my son's blueberry pancakes were half cooked. The outside seemed done, but once he cut into them the inside was just pancake batter oozing out. Sent them back, but they still weren't completely done when brought back. We had to leave for the closing so I didn't bother any further. Rest of the food was just average. Hash browns were good. Coffee not good. Add to that it was overpriced. I get it that it's Westchester, but overall not a good experience. read more

Ardsley Diner - Diners Near Me - Ardsley, New York

I was very disappointed with the service I received here. I don't remember the exact name but I think it was called the very berry French toast which was supposed to be challah French toast with whipped cream cheese (I assumed stuffed French toast), berries, and Nutella. When the server brought the dish it was missing the berries and whipped cream cheese so I told her. She came back with the berries but no cream cheese and thought I wanted whipped cream? When a second server double checked the menu he realized it said whipped cream cheese which is surprising that they don't even know their own menu. Challah French toast also tasted like regular bread French toast. My friend got a turkey BLT which we thought was turkey meat with bacon, lettuce, and tomato but it was actually turkey bacon, lettuce, and tomato. 2 stars because interior looked nice and we were seated right away otherwise would give 1. read more

Ardsley Diner - Challah French toast with berries and Nutella - Diners Near Me - Ardsley, New York

I will preface my review by saying that hailing from northern New Jersey, arguably the diner capital of the galaxy, has made me a bit of a diner snob. My family ate here the morning after attending a family wedding in nearby Tarrytown. Atmospherically, the diner is generally very pleasing; it is cozy, bright, and colorful. My family, a party of four, arrived around 11:15 A.M. and had to wait about 15-20 minutes to be seated. The tables are rather close together, and the acoustics make it sort of difficult to hear when the restaurant is as busy as it was on this particular morning. The menu, as it turns out, was not a full menu at the time, but a breakfast only menu, which is fine, though not what I tend to anticipate when I hear the word "diner." I ordered my typical diner breakfast: a Greek omelette; it came with home fried potatoes and toast, as is typical. It was delicious and prepared to perfection. My boyfriend and my parents also spoke highly of their meals (a Belgian waffle topped with fruit, blueberry pancakes, and some sort of eggs Benedict with tomato and avocado, respectively). The service was sometimes a bit lackluster; though our server was very friendly, we did have to ask twice and wait for quite a bit of time to receive more coffee. As stated earlier, we also had to wait for a time to be seated, which isn't a huge deal, but there isn't really a comfortable place to wait, and they didn't give us an estimate of how long the wait might be. Lastly, toward the end of our meal, my mother got up to use the restroom, and an employee removed her chair from our table and gave it to someone at another table without asking if we were finished with the chair! We were almost finished anyway, but it was a little off putting, and we felt a bit as though we were being rushed to leave. Ultimately, the food was delicious, but the service was not particularly outstanding. We left with full bellies, but it wasn't an earth-shatteringly amazing diner experience. read more

Wonderful small town diner. Great portions, affordable prices and of course delicious food. I ordered eggs with corned beef hash and was amazed at the quality of the corned beef. Not canned for sure. Service was fast and friendly. The restaurant was clean, bright and family friendly. Would come by again! read more

Went for breakfast Saturday With wife and kids. Ordered egg dishes for the kids, eggs Benedict, bagel and lox platter as well a western omelets. Service was extremely slow. Food came out cold Waiter, although very nice, forgot the toast, and bagel platter which came out at the end of the meal and the toasted bagel had become hard by that time as it was sitting so long. Food was average at best. Would not go out of my way to come back, but if I am in the area would give it another try. read more

Ardsley Diner is very enticing to visit + Always packed and yet don't have to wait too long with their ample seating (tables and bar) + Friendly staff + Huge menu selections On the other hand, the experience overall is just OKAY. I've only been here twice, but both times- once in the Spring, and the next just recently in this Winter, it has been so.incredibly.hot. to the point where I feel all energy cells are being depleted because they are suffocating one by one. It doesn't help if you sit next to a window and the sun just happens to be beaming on your face, but I do wish they did something with air control. During the most recent visit, I came with my boyfriend and brother, collectively ordering the santa fe turkey burger, california grilled cheese (loaded with turkey bacon and avocado on texas toast) and a chicken burrito. The food came out at a reasonable time- the turkey burger was cooked well, loaded with toppings, and all around solid. The grilled cheese was just meh- would think the texas toast would have some seasoning but the sandwich was generally very bland and lacked flavor. My brother's burrito was created with beef instead-- a big No for him. The waitress was accommodating however, and replaced his meal with his new request of the turkey burger, although it took a very, very long time for it to come out. I don't doubt their other food options are great- everything is reasonably priced, but the general experience has opportunities to improve. read more

$5.75 For a side of fries? $7.50 for a bodega quality grill cheese sandwich? A meal that would be Over priced at $10 costing me nearly 20 when you account for tips. And I didn't even order a drink? And you don't even remember the tomato on my sandwich? No thanks. Never again. I have paid $12 for the same meal At diners in Manhattan. I left hungry. At least the waiter looked embarrassed When he give me my check read more

The food is always great and the workers are very nice and friendly too. Love coming whether it's for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!

Has the best buffalo chicken wrap. A little expensive but worth it. The staff is friendly and food comes out pretty fast. Orders placed to go are ready pretty quickly too. I could eat the buffalo chicken wrap everyday for the rest of my life. read more

Ordered take out this morning. The staff called me back to verify the quantity of hash browns sides I wanted. But when I got there they left me standing for 10 minutes looking at my order sitting on the counter growing cold. Then the manager informed me that "he ran out of pastrami " for my pastrami and egg sandwich. I asked why didn't anyone call me back to let me know and he replied "I don't know, they should have" shity answer shity service. Then I get home and food is all cold I had to heat it up. The well done cornbeef hash we ordered was soggy and cold. Basically they didn't fulfill our order and THE FOOD SUCKED. EAT AT OWN RISK HERE. better off heading to any other dinner than eating here read more

Quite a few vegetarian items - there's a few falafel options and a veggi burger. The portions were good but overall I thought the prices were a tab bit high for a Diner (which seems to be a trend in Westchester the last few years). read more

Omelette was average and the coffee they served was cold. Service was slow. I dint think I would visit again. On top of this the owner was rude. read more

This is such a great diner. Love their food, its always fresh and delicious. The service is just as exceptional. Staff is always friendly. Ardsley Diner - Cobb Wrap with Sweet potato fries. Awesome! - Diners Near Me - Ardsley, New York

I love love love this place! Best diner food. Best owners. Clean happy and comfy. Feels like family, tastes like home.

The Ardsley Diner, cloistered in the hills above Saw Mill River Road, was just the type of gem me and my brother were searching for on this Tuesday morning. Meticulous attention was needed in finding this hot spot, but it was well worth it once we chomped down on their heavenly breakfast! My brother got regular ole pancakes with a side of two eggs and bacon. The man might eat like he's going on death row but who the hell would blame him after tasting this masterpiece! They were unreal and he was more than satisfied! I had the french toast (callah that is). If the great service, coffee, atmosphere, and huge portions weren't enough to blow your balls off, these angels rooted from french toast heaven sure will! Everything about this place, from the cleanliness to the pictures of Hollywood stars posted on the wall, was just perfect! I can't really see any other Westchester diner topping this one. 8.9/10 -Two Brothers of Westchester Diner Reviews read more

My son and his girlfriend took me to this diner for Sunday brunch. I had never been there before so had an open mind to the experience. When I got there, I noticed that they didn't offer any specially priced breakfast entrees on the weekend. You know, an entree, bacon, coffee and juice for one low price. Instead, everything was a la carte. I ordered buttermilk pancakes with bacon and coffee. The pancakes came out crispy...not soft and fluffy as I would have expected buttermilk pancakes to be. Also, the pancakes tasted funny. Even the coffee had a weird taste. Now, mind you, the food didn't make me sick, but the taste of things I ordered left much to be desired. I'm staying with my favorite, Mont Olympos Diner in Yonkers. To me, it offers the best food anytime....breakfast, lunch or dinner and their breakfast specials are great, and at a great price too! read more

My will and I visited this diner on our stay in Tarrytown. It's a very clean and nice diner with very large portions. It's a little high on the price side but well worth it. The place is nice the service is friendly, andthe food is very good especially for a diner. I had the eggs over easy, home fries, and cornbeef hash. The portions were large, non greasy, and delicious. My wife had the eggs over easy with Canadian baconand , home fries. She also had the short stack of pancakes which were 2 enormous pancakes that she couldn't finish. I would say that if you're visiting the area this is a must visit for breakfast. read more

We went here four days in a row - yep, we liked it. I was getting egg dishes, my husband got waffles and french toast. All flavor combinations were great. Coffee was very tasty. I took my mom once, and my son another time - they liked it as well. The only thing preventing 5 stars is twice my food was luke-warm instead of hot (which doesn't work with hollandaise sauce) but still very tasty. read more

Excellent food and service! Got there at 11:30, before the lunch crowd, but it filled up quickly. We had Thanksgiving wrap and cheeseburger, both delicious and large. Service was friendly and fast, but didn't feel rushed even when people were waiting for a table. Fresh and clean bathrooms too. read more

Real gyro meat at a Diner!?!? Nuff said! Great fries and lemon potatoes too!! Dare I say this place is more restaurant than diner!

Food was good run of the mill diner, haven't tried lunch or dinner but will definitely update if we decide to come back. Location is not bad parking lot is a little small. I'm not cheap but definitely a little overpriced but thats something that can be attributed to the area. Service is good but you can tell they cater to the typical crowd. Which is kind of disappointing because it doesn't let a new customer feel accepted. read more

By far the best diner in Westchester. And yes, I have eaten at nearly all of them in the river towns! It's fairly priced, especially for the amount of food you get, and the owner is really nice. Eat here about once a week. read more

Having been for years a video rental store, this location is now finally justly served with this eatery. However, the word 'diner' does not do the establishment justice. The Ardsley Diner serves an excellent menu and has a warm and social atmosphere at reasonable prices. Every Thursday they have amazing pea to compliment any number of perfect selections for a good meal. I would say the only negative is the parking. The Diner shares spaces with other businesses and finding a spot can feel like NYC during rush hour. Regardless of the hassle, the experience and food is worth the trip. read more

a decent no frills diner in ardsley right off the saw mill . part of an outdoor mall this simple diner seems to have had a retro makeover with fancy tables and chairs with a long counter seating area for the solo folks. yep the menu of breakfast , lunch , dinner is typical and simple with some greek , spanish , asian choices included . i mostly keep it the same and simple with a turkey burger deluxe with a cup of yankee bean soup as a starter . its foggy and raining outside but its fairly crowded on a late thursday evening and the diner is a bit hidden so i assume the food is good or maybe folks in ardsley dont cook much . overall food was ok and portions are above average however prices seem at bit more then other diners i have visited in westchester . service is quick and place is clean which is important when food is nothing to rave about . 3.5 stars on my yelp meter . read more

I really love this diner. My husband and I stumbled upon it 2 years ago looking for a good diner to eat at. He loves their chicken pesto panini and I love their California BLT. The breakfast is also very delicious! Since I've moved to Westchester county there's no diner that I've been to more. My only gripe is that a few times I've tried to go early with our parents and in laws and how can a diner open at 8am? So these times I have to just go elsewhere when I prefer to spend my money there. 8am for a diner? I mean at least 7:30... I'm sure my family and I aren't the only ones who feels that way. read more

This place stinks. Went for breakfast last week was very disappointed. It just wasn't that good. It seems the diners in the Bronx and Yonkers have better food for lower prices. The owner thinks he can take advantage of people in Ardsley. Sad. read more

Our go to neighborhood diner. So happy they opened a couple of years ago - now we don't have to trek to nearby towns. Great, attentive, homely service and decent prices. Can't go wrong here. Love it. read more

We have been their couple of times now food very good fast and hot staff very good, prices resonable we needed a new dinner in area.

The customer service was excellent. We had a party of 6 and did not make reservations. Even though the restaurant was packed, management had us seated within about 20 minutes and kept updating on the status of our table beforehand. The food was tasty. read more

It's a diner, so don't expect more than a diner. However, as far as it goes, it is very good. I can particularly recommend the vegetarian burger - but you'll have to keep the windows open later that night. (It's mostly made up of beans.) There are only two drawbacks; parking can be difficult (if you want to park in front of the diner, but if you don't mind walking an extra 50 steps, there is a nearby parking lot in which you will easily find open spots - especially at night.) Drawback 2; it's often crowded! Since it is a very popular place, with good solid diner food it has attracted quite a following. You may have to wait for a table! read more
