waiter was VERY pushy. I felt like I was bother him by being here. coffee was very burnt. I asked for a fresh cup and he said nothing. I was left hanging for 9 minutes until another waiter dropped off a fresh cup. coffee overall still not good. cinnamon raisin French toast was uncooked in the center despite being thin sliced store bought bread. bacon I asked for well done was not, but was decent quality. Mimosa was GREAT. In typical NY style, the person on my left , the person on my right and the waiter used the word F&@k in every other sentence. overall not really worth the 4 minute drive from my hotel. read more

I like this diner. It's cute and their menu is creative. They offer more than just basic breakfast and lunch. They have red velvet pancakes, banana crunch pancakes, s'mores pancakes and many more. My boyfriend and I ended up ordered and sharing the s'mores pancakes and the Tex mex wrap with the avocado on the side. The wrap was great! Really tasty with the fries that came with it. We loved it. The pancakes were okay. They weren't bad, but they weren't amazing either. They were just okay. The service was also okay. A little weird to be honest. Our server seemed out of it? But he was kind, I guess. It was just okay. What we loved most about this place was the decoration and how it looked like a classic diner that you see in the movies. They also had a signed Messi jersey in the front which was really cool and exciting to see. The place is nice. The menu is cool. I'd come back here again to try something different. It's really cute inside and the owner seems really nice. read more

Decent diner but parking sucks at lunch time! All around good clean diner. Staff is friendly, I've enjoyed most of the items I've tried. Salads are over priced most averaging 20 bucks. Good gravy, French onion soup. They have booths tables and seats at the counter. I've only eaten here for lunch, some days its really slow other days not so much. But it does get busy at lunch ! Really neat seeing the inside since I grew up knowing this spot as 'Captain Video', the local blockbuster. read more

Your standard diner with a few curve ball menu items (Mexican, Greek, Asian). Service was pretty slow at points, but they were very crowded. We enjoyed everything we had: two salads, shrimp teriyaki and pulled pork. Not the best in our lives, but it's a diner. Chicken noodle soup was on point, and they have smoothies, which made my inner 5 year old quite happy. The salads were enough for two people or another meal later. read more

Really good food, they remember my usual food order. The service is pretty good, and fast. They even have lollipops near the exit/entrance.

Contacted diner post visit because what they charged to my credit card did not match the receipt. Asked for a simple lookup of receipt so that I can confirm the amount. Called and emailed twice- still no response. Needless to say I will not be coming back here again. read more

Cute and colorful in a classic diner style! Perfect place for breakfast! Good parking and terrific wait staff. The Nutella offerings were super yummy, my young companions enjoyed the Nutella waffle and the Nutella French Toast. We had a few requests and they got everything right. They have a good bakery case. It's busy but we were sat quickly! Five stars, they do an excellent job here! read more

I had a great breakfast here on Saturday morning! I couldn't decide what to get because they had so many options on the breakfast menu! The lunch and dinner menu also looked pretty big, but was not in the mood for that so didn't look too closely. However, the breakfast menu had lots of choices of omelettes, pancakes, french toast, wraps, sandwiches, and waffles. There was a lot of sides to choose from and everything sounded delicious! I ended up getting the cinnamon raisin french toast and a side of sausage. My boyfriend got the smores pancakes (They also had smores waffles on the menu!) My cinnamon raisin french toast was amazing! I would definitely recommend it. The sausage was also really good. The smores pancakes were also really good. The marshmallows on top were roasted and stuck together in clumps. There were also little pieces of broken up graham crackers. Overall great food and would love to come here again and try one of the other many options! Service was also pretty good. It was around 1 pm when we were here and was not crowded. We did not have to wait for a table, maybe because we came at an off time. Waiter was very attentive with refilling water and making sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this diner! read more

We have been ordering take out for the past few months and so far the food is good. Prices are a bit high, but that is to be expected due to the pandemic. Their chili fries are delish, not to spicy, but it has a kick to it. Their chicken fajitas are average, not bad at all. Their cheeseburger are delish and so are the chicken fajita wraps. Is sure to please everyone taste buds. read more

I always thought over time my visits we're getting worse I've been disappointed. I went today and simple turkey sandwich and asked if it was fresh turkey I was told by the Waiter it was. To my surprise it was basically deli sliced turkey so honestly it was the most expensive turkey sandwich I had based off Deli meat. I've been went to the bathroom in the kitchen is right next door with the window and to my surprise I was watching some gentleman cut all the lettuce without gloves. This lettuce goes a little sandwiches. It was disgusting and unsanitary. I believe you supposed to gloves when touching food. This place better get their act together. This is an awesome diner!!! Exactly what the town of Ardsley needed but to be honest if I didn't live here, I would travel for the warm, friendly staff and all around amazing food! From the first time you walk in here you are welcomed like family. The food...what can I say? My family and I come about once a week and there isn't anything on the menu that isn't delicious. Pancakes, grilled cheese, the salads and even the specials are amazing...ohhhhh those lamb chops. The fish is fresh and tasty. Burgers are juicy, big and cooked perfectly. Bottom line, in my opinion this is the #1 diner in westchester! Worth a trip for anyone in the area. read more

A weak diner compared to other diners in Westchester. Bugs everywhere. They give you complimentary chickpea salad and bread before your entree. The salad lacked any flavor. I got the brisket sandwich, and it was clearly store-bought and nuked. The people with me got a French dip sandwich and a Monte Cristo; both didn't like the food (they disliked the diner more than me). French dip was painfully salty. Like dipping bread into the ocean. Service was fine and desert was good and free: Dum Dum lollipops by the entrance. Maybe the restaurant is better for breakfast. read more

A little slow to have our orders taken, but not excessively so - after all, we went right at midday on a Saturday. Food was VERY good - a number of our group had the Italian omelette, while I had the corned beef hash and eggs, home fries, side of bacon, and a short stack of pancakes. Home fries are excellent, and the pancakes are big and fluffy. As an extra bonus, the coffee was also very good. I'd come back here every weekend for brunch, but I live more than 100 miles away, so... read more

A little gem located in a strip mall behind CVS in Ardsley. Where Blockbuster Video used to be. They serve serious diner food. Everything is extremely fresh and made from scratch. Best burgers of any diner in the area hands down! Omelettes are huge and home fries delicious!! Overstuffed wraps are amazing!! The pork chops melt in your mouth!! Line is out the door at peak dinner time so try to get there a little early. Five star all the way !! read more

Ardsley Diner - Linguine with White Clam Sauce - Diners Near Me - Ardsley, New York

This is your typical diner but a little smaller. It shares a parking lot with a Japanese restaurant next door and is often crowded during lunch hours. The menu has a decent number of items but considerably smaller than most diners that I've been to. The prices are higher. An appetizer and an entree could run you about $30. We ordered the fried calamari ($12 or $13), which comes with either marinara or teriyaki sauce. If you don't specify, they'll bring you marina sauce by default. We also tried the shrimp quesadilla ($17), which comes with a side of rice and beans as well as all the fix-ins (salsa, guacamole, and sour cream). A good location with parking, decent food but pricey. read more

Not exceedingly busy at prime time on a Sunday morning. That makes a hungry family very happy. I noticed it was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Watch out for the reserved parking spots in their lots. All the spots aren't theirs. The initial order taking was very quick but we waited a bit for our order. The food was on the bland side but decent. We primarily had eggs and toasted and corn beef hash. All in all it was nice and I'd come back. Came back on 1-27-18 for brunch. The place was packed! The parking was non existent. They need a bigger place now. They got really popular. read more

Ardsley Diner is just what my hometown needed! It has B, L and D and is always packed with families, friends, retirees and co workers. Who doesn't love a diner! This is a consistent diner spot: service is okay but the food (breakfast omelette specifically) hit the spot. Large portion, crispy potatoes and a reasonable price. Quick bite with a fellow worker. Typical diner. Bit on the older side. In a strip mall. Food was good, coffee was hot and the price was perfect. I think it was $30 w tip for 2 peeps. read more

Really just ok. Service definitely needs some brushing up with. Wait staff is difficult to communicate with and you often have to do a lot to get your server's attention. When you finally do get in contact with your server they're often very rude and short with you for no reason. This place could be a whole lot better if the wait staff wasn't so upset to be working here (the gents at the counter are always friendly!) The food is ok, nothing too fantastic and definitely overpriced compared to other diners in the area. Why are you charging upwards of ten dollars for eggs? For that price you can at least expect something gourmet. I get that this place used to be a video rental place but it still just looks like you're dining in someone's basement so it doesn't even feel like a diner. They tried to fix it up with some retro decor but that's just not really doing it any justice, sorry! read more

Retro feel and good potato skins but I ordered the black bean burger and it came out looking grey and mushy. I tried it and it was inedible. I was only able to eat the fries. I informed the server and he didn't apologize and then when the bill came, I was charged for the fries. And, to make it worse they charged for sweet potato fries (5.50) instead of regular fries (4.95) DO NOT GO HERE read more

It's got great reviews and I came for that. But the food I had... wasn't that great. Southern Fried chicken was a literal half of a chicken fried up (minus the drumstick?) in an ultra sweet skin. If the super sweet skin wasn't bad enough the breast also tasted a bit odd... like it was undercooked maybe. I took one bite and left the rest on there. Expecting much better for $13. Maybe I shouldn't have been so adventurous and just ordered breakfast... read more

Came on a Sunday morning and surprised that it wasn't packed. I thought they came around offering coffee way too much. I had the eggs benedict and my boyfriend had the pancakes. The food was decent and I liked the breakfast potatoes a lot but thought they put a piece of ham steak on my benedict rather than Canadian bacon. The pancakes were a hit though. The only complaint was that the butter for the pancakes was frozen and hard to melt on the pancakes. The place is IMMACULATE which is nice but I found the pastry, cake display in the front was really sad and didn't offer much. I wouldn't go out of my way to go there again but its a decent spot that's super clean and the food is ok. read more

Had a $20 egg white omelette (upcharge on egg whites!) that when served, I realized after biting, was out of the box eggs. I can't believe that in 2019 people would do this. If anything it should have been cheaper for the white omelette in this case. I raised the issue and said I want real eggs (tall order I guess). This caused back and forth for 15 minutes between the kitchen, manager and waitress. They finally accommodated me. Still I find the whole episode absurd. Serve REAL egg whites. Especially if you are going to upcharge!!!! And if you are not, then say so on the menu!!!! read more

I wanted to like this place - I love diners, I like that a new business moved into the old Downtown 731 space, and the reviews were so positive. I don't know what happened, but for our visit a 3-star rating is being generous. On the food side, the fries were good. The gyro was OK - reasonable quality meat if a little underdone but there was almost nothing but meat and bread. Not much in the way of veggies or tzatziki - I stole from my wife's salad. Which brings me to my wife's 'Waldorf salad' which bore no resemblance to anything which ever came out of the Waldorf Astoria. It's as if someone had heard about the dish but never actually seen or eaten one. It was a few grapes, apple chunks, and hunks of goat cheese on a large bed of iceberg lettuce - with no dressing. There was also a hot dog which might have been good hot but arrived well into our meal. Since our waiter retrieved it more or less instantly after we reminded him the dog was still missing I can only assume it had been sitting under a warming lamp all that time. Which brings me to the complete lack of service. Perhaps it would have been better if we weren't in the corner booth, but our waiter spent most of his time either in the waiter scrum by the bar or in the kitchen. And when he ventured out he was either delivering food or getting stopped by tables closer to the kitchen - all the while studiously avoiding looking around the restaurant where he might catch the eye of one of the many tables waiting for something (we were not the only one with this problem). read more
