I came into this small intimate mom & pop diner on Shore Road not expecting a whole lot. Damn, was I WRONG! I had the best MexiAmerican taco breakfast dish! It was scrambled eggs, peppers, diced tomatoes onions & jalapeños with 3 flavorful soft flour tacos on the side. With these juicy amazing beans that were wet and a nice mound of yellow rice with a piece of bacon on top! SOOOOO GOOOD! A cup of tea and this brought a delicious breakfast to a close. I need to begin by saying, Omar, the manager at the shore Road Dinner is the what the service industry should be. I had a mix up with my grub-hub order and mistakenly chose pick up. I immediately called grub hub and they said the restaurant wouldn't change the order to delivery and It was too late to cancel. Immediately I get a phone call from the manager, Omar, saying that he has an employee on the way with my order. I am so impressed with the level of service and kindness I received from this mom and pop establishment. This is just another reason why Shore Road dinner is on the top of my list! They could make up for the lack of taste if they were a more accommodating and genuinely more hospitable but they lack in that area also so it wasn't an enjoyable experience eating here. First off, the service is always excellent. The first time we ordered omelets to go, about a a week or two ago, they came out good as well as the fruit and the grits. Their salmon was the bomb and their veggies are fresh. The reason I'm only putting 4 instead of 5 stars is because the second time we got breakfast to go, my omelet was too well done. I had specifically ordered it lightly cooked. Also, the smoothie wasn't worth 5 bucks; it didn't have enough fruit, it was watered down and had still had chunks of ice in it. The side of berries and side of spinach were both really good and fresh. We will still go back but won't be ordering a smoothie there again. read more

This place has recently undergone new management which means they have updated their menu and repainted. It's located in a small shopping center next to a nail salon and a liquor store. Overall the food is always amazing, i've had breakfast, brunch, and dinner, and all times the food was great. The service is either a hit or miss which is why this place gets a 4 star. The prices are on the average to low side and the servings are big. They also deliver and i haven't had any issues with it. I was so happy when I found this on seamless because it's hard to find fast and reliable delivery in New Rochelle. I always get omelettes and they are always delivered quickly but better yet still hot, which is a huge plus in my book! The Western omelette and an iced coffee are my go tos. Passed this place before it's in a small shopping center with a few stores, I went to another spot that was closed and I really wanted a burger but I didn't want to go through making it at home, I saw this place and decided to stop, it's really a weird location for a diner because it's just a small store front but it's spacious inside with plenty of space, I ordered a cheeseburger deluxe that comes with fries and coleslaw, the coleslaw wasn't anything special, the fries were perfect and unsalted which is always a plus, the burger was good and was tasty, they have delivery and since it's just a few blocks from my place it's a good option to have for those hungry times, also there are a lot of items on the menu so I definitely will try some other items at times read more

This place is an acquired taste, but basically it's your typical greasy spoon diner. They do the greasy spoon breakfast thing really well. No frills, just grills. Love their omelets, and the coffee is decent. In terms of service, they have always been nice to me and my bf. They greet us by name, and if one of us comes without the other they ask us where the other person is! I've never had to wait longer than a minute or two for anything. So I'm not sure what other people are referring to. I enjoy my time here. It's nice to have a local diner that is just about the basics. Where you can get a hearty breakfast for $10-12, with home fries, buttery toast and coffee with free refills. Nothing more, nothing less! :-) read more

It's called a hungry man but you get served three silver dollar pancakes, doesn't make sense to me. Prices were reasonable but the service was terrible. The food was mediocre at best. If management is reading this, for the sake of your business sit down with your staff and implement a more welcoming atmosphere, personal cleanliness, turn on the air conditioning and close the door, the amount of flies in this place is disgusting!
