This is a great breakfast and lunch spot opposite the Ardmore train station. There's metered parking. There are many tables inside. We tried the breakfast sandwich and BTA omelette. I went to Ardmore Station Cafe for breakfast a couple of weeks ago. Service was good, and the restaurant was pleasant and well-lit. I don't remember what I got, probably some kind of omelette. It was good, there was nothing wrong with it. But it came with outstanding fried potatoes. They were in little cubes, crisp on all six sides and soft in the middle. A quaint cafe located in Ardmore right next to Maido and the train station (that is perpetually under construction) that has solid basic breakfast food. The location can be different to find since it is a heavily trafficked area and the sign is not very eye-catching however, once you find it it's easy to enter. The atmosphere: Like I said about the solid basic breakfast food, the decor is well...solid and basic. There is nothing fancy about this place. It is reminscent of a diner and that's a good vibe considering the area! The food: I will be honest to say there are better options for breakfast in the area. The food is simple and filling. I found the potatoes here to be greasy and acid reflux inducing. That said, you can get a good amount of food for your buck! The Streusel pancake is literally nothing more than the regular pancake with a TINY / meaningless amount of "streusel" which is so dense and dry it cannot be spread, but even if it could be a) it would only cover 1/8 of one pancake and b) you wouldn't want to anyway because its gross. These are $4 more than the regular pancakes. The grits were 100% unseasoned and flavorless. Both of these were thrown in the garbage. I love breakfast with my hubby because it's time for us and he's willing to feed into my Yelp 'Collection Tabs'. Him paying in a added bonus! The Ardmore Station Cafe was a great choice for a lazy Sunday morning. There is plenty of free parking on the weekend this so convenient because the Cafe literally is at the 'station' sharing the lot. The sign is not prominent, the Cafe is diagonally across from the train platform up a few steps. Once inside the cafe it has the feel of a diner but not its style and definitely not the decor of a 'Cafe'. Once seated we were greeted by a friendly server who quickly got our coffee and water along with offering to answer any questions. After a few inquiries I went with the option to choose 3 types of French Toast, Crunchy, Classic and pumpkin. I chose these because although the other options were flavors I would be interested in I don't like too much sweet stuff squirting out of my food! The photos on Yelp also showed various pancakes that were not on the menu. Hubby loved the 'Italian Omelette' the sausage were very flavorful. We came here because we could get sat immediately while other places hade a 30-45 minute wait on a busy Sunday morning. Their service was a little slow including taking about 5 minutes to get the menus after we sat down. About half of what we ordered was really good so it's hit or miss on the menu. I highly recommend the speciality pancakes and the grilled cheese Benedict! Foods are good,price is super affordable especially on week day....they only got one server for 5-6tables when I was there. Not very clean but acceptable (like there are garbages on the floor and the tables has water spots on it) Lots of family and groups went there.) One of the best brunch spots in Ardmore! Ardmore Station Cafe is a small and quaint diner just across from the train station. It has limited seating, so do be aware for parties greater than 4 that it may take a while. For parties of two, even on busy Saturdays and Sundays, the longest you'll wait is 10-15 minutes as service is relatively quick. Prices are pretty fair, and their brunch menu features a good mix of sweet and savory. The pancakes and French toast look extremely tasty - a sampler of 3 is less than $10! I usually stick to the savory, having extremely enjoyed their Eggs Benedict and Sausage and Biscuits. I cannot overstate how yummy the sausage and biscuits is! I get it every time now. The omelettes are also well done and come with homefries. One thing to note - if you enjoy actual fries more, they will gladly substitute your homefries for regular (and extremely tasty) fries! On top of it all, the unlimited refills on coffee and great service really make this place worth coming back to. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Ardmore! read more

It is my absolute favorite for a variety of reasons: it has some character, is drastically different from its uppity mainline breakfast joint counterparts, it's affordable, and the food is to die for. They were open and accommodating on New Year's Day, and we called in some black bean breakfast burritos. Perfect for a non-meat eater like myself. I've enjoyed everything I've tried here in the past: the stuffed french toast is another definite highlight. The strawberry and Nutella variety is a classic -- you've just got to come hungry. A coworker and I both had the Avocado BLT and the macaroni salad - the sandwiches were great but we agreed the macaroni salad wasn't that good (I was expecting homemade but it seemed like it was commercially made to me). Another coworker raved over the tuna melt but barely touched the coleslaw (same issue - commercially made - sorry but I don't see how places that make that stuff stay in business!). Anyway, it was a cute little place and the waitress was great - we do plan to go back sometime. When we do, I'll be trying one of the breakfast dishes. The service is great and the staff is very friendly. I've never had a complaint here. The breakfast is excellent...I generally get a western omlette or the eggs benedict and am pleased everytime. The stuffed french toast seems to steal the spotlight with all their delicious stuffings, but don't forget the pancakes, they are quite tasty as well! I'm very pleased with the hollindaise sauce here, and the fact that they don't have it during the week, only on weekends...because it doesn't keep well and they don't use enough during the week to keep it on hand...this is a great sign that they use real hollindaise and not some cheap mix! The seating is a bit tight...if you are in a big group you may have to wait for a couple tables to open up so they can be joined togther into a bigger table...that's why you may arrive before another party, but get seated after them...there just isn't much space...i'm generally there solo or with my GF so the wait hasn't been to bad. Get there before 9 on weekends and you shouldn't have to wait long if at all...that is one issue with this place, there really isn't anyplace to wait without feeling in the way, but thats a minor issue for most people. Weekdays there is generally one server working the floor while on a weekend there will be 4 or 5, and they do get quite a crowd for breakfast so get there early! You can find metered parking within 100 feet of the ASC, the lot nearby is for the train, but I've never had an issue parking there either... I Have to thank Yelp for this one, was in Ardmore today and I wanted Breakfast and Lauren wanted Lunch. Looked on Yelp and found this little place! I had the blueberry pancakes with granola and Lauren had an egg white omelet with cheese. We both got an order of bacon. 2 Pancakes filled me up, I was very happy with my delicious breakfast. Very cute and very tasty! Went to this place for a friend's birthday brunch recently and fell in love with the rich and flavorful foods they had here. My friend and I split the speculous stuffed French toast and oh my gosh it was decadent and rich! There was the perfect amount of speculous and bananas on there and it wasn't over powering at all. I ordered the breakfast bean burrito which was also delicious. I thought the beans could've been flavored slightly or something because it seemed like just plain black beans. The eggs in it were good along with the other vegetables and avocado. The space was slightly small for going there for a group. It's basically a room with many tables with no secluded areas so I felt like we were being slightly loud only because we had many people talking at once but that's something that's hard to fix. The service was phenomenal. We got a cake for my friend and which we gave the waitress ahead of time and she brought it out at the end nicely. She was outgoing and happily fulfilled our requests for water/napkins/etc. Overall: great place for brunch with some friends but maybe not for a group just because it could be disturbing for other people! After weeks of quarantine without proper brunch food, we were long overdue for some classic brunch food! We ordered Lox and Bagel on an Everything bagel and a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on a Kaiser roll. The Lox and Bagel was everything you could imagine, quality was so good it actually reminded me of Harp & Crown's AYCE Brunch Buffet! As for the bacon, egg and cheese, there was so little cheese I couldn't really tell if it was there at all. The bacon is also the hard kind, not crispy bacon, great for sandwiches and not too oily but a little thinner, crispier could've been nice.
