This was the next step to determine if I Contacted the corona/covid virus back in late February. After a California trip. I came early, filled out simple paperwork. No ID. Paid 70.00 and went right in. The smallest blood draw in my life. Tiny tiny puncture on on finger. Low pain. Now I wait out side , results in ten minutes. It s 4:25 and they close at five. Plenty of time. Personally. I am 95 pct sure I had this infection and got over it in a week. I m a healthy 73 year old that is fit, go to the gym 5 days , still surf in Hawaii. I was really really sick. We ll know in a few If I had the worse case of flu in my life , or Covid. Waiting on the paper. Ok I did not have it. Antibodies stay in you for a year. So I'm glad to know Update last day of July My swab test is Monday. Since the rules changed for All of Hawaii, I can not bypass the quarantine with a negative test. I fly on the sixth and I ll take the test just for my personal knowledge. I still have to do the Quarantine and just finding lodging that would accept me was huge. But we did thru friends. First thing this morning I made my way to ArcPoint Labs in Tucson to process a very expensive ALCAT blood test I had been waiting to do for years. I was in an excellent mood on a sunny day. I arrived as a walk-in at 8:30am and was asked by a gentleman who works there how he could help me. I replied I was there for an ALCAT Test. He asked is I had an appointment. I answered that I did not, that their website states "walk-ins available". He went off on me, basically calling me a liar by stating that the website would never state such a thing. See image below! To make a short story shorter, after proving I wasn't lying, this man decides the best course of action at that moment is to verbally abuse me before kicking me out. To make matters worse, I recounted my experience to the head of the lab, Mr Wendell Long who not once in our discussion expressed concern for what had occurred, demurring to me that whatever he decides after looking at video and listening to the audio (I was excited that both exist), I would not be privy to whatever he decides on the matter. In essence, he was sweeping it under the carpet and kinda giving me the "thanks for letting me know, we'll take it from here". He came across as not caring less. When he stated that I've taken it as far as I can, I firmly stated that only after Google, Facebook, Yelp, Better Business Bureau, Lab regulatory agencies and the other executives at his organization were aware would he be correct. The gall and ignorance in the face of customer abuse is concerning. I wouldn't trust this lab with my blood if you paid me. There is an insidious darkness underlying this operation. Best to use another lab that actually cares about its customers. read more

Please do not advertise the COVID-19 antibody test as a way to determine immunity. This test can tell us the qualitative presence or absence of antibodies against the virus but cannot tell us yet if these antibodies will provide protective immunity against future infection. I am sure you are a great lab and much can come from antibody testing but dont make people think they are immune to the virus until studies have shown this in the current COVD-19. We do suspect protective immunity because of previous coronaviruses but we still don't know with this new one.Laura read more
