My husband and I found Immediate Care Arizona last week when we were both feeling quite miserable. We are from out of town, and relied upon Yelp reviews of various urgent care facilities in the Tucson area. We are so glad that the positive reviews we saw guided us to Immediate Care Arizona. This is the way medicine ideally should be practiced: a compassionate and competent friendly staff who attend to your needs quickly, thoroughly. We were able to be seen immediately after having had called, a thorough intake was taken, and Dr. Skinner addressed all issues, clearly explaining what was happening and what would be done to begin remedying out symptoms (Covid for both my husband and myself as well as pneumonia for me). He instilled confidence and trust with his knowledge and ability to start treatments (nebulizer, shot, gargle treatment that simply ended a searing sore throat), explained the medications we would be using, and, not a small thing, provided said medications before leaving the office. No idea what happened to the information I put in and uploaded through their site. I got the confirmation emails. But the receptionist was adamant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Got taken back after less than 10 minute wait which they get a second star for since it was still at the time of my appointment. Blood pressure, temp, O2 levels then into the treatment room where the same person who said I wasn't in the system asked me about my symptoms. Then just wait for the Nurse Practitioner. [[HIGHLIGHT]]NP was nice, asked good questions, listened to the answers (not all of them do) and listened to my feedback.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They had the script in stock so I walked out with the meds I needed, in under thirty minutes. Best urgent care ever- nice aesthetic, polite staff, beautiful art, nice recliners, and they even offer extra services like IV infusions. WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE! I have nothing but positive feedback about Dr. Skinner, and all the nurses. They take the time to understand the visit, ask great questions to truly assess what's going on with your health. I had a HORRIBLE experience at TUCSON ER AND HOSPITAL where DR. This place is close to home and absolutely beautiful. Went here for a rapid test for my son. When we checked in they asked if we wanted to see a provider if the results were negative. I told them no, only if positive. After the test was taken we wait a short time the. Two people came in. They told us the test was negative then proceeded to examine my son. I told them we were good but the lady keep trying to push a prescription cough medication for my son.(his cough really wasn't bad and was being managed fine by cough drops. After both of us saying no several times we were finally free to leave. Not sure if I'll be back as I don't want medication pushed on my child or I if it's not really needed. read more

Was in Ora Valley, and needed a check up and Covid clearance. I'm just so disappointed that we don't have this level of care and service in Phx! First, what a beautiful facility! If you are suffering from migraine, get to Immediate Care STAT for a Migraine Relief IV. Due to drug interactions, I'm not able to take any of the 'triptans' when suffering from migraine and other Rx meds leave me drugged and drowsy for the day. Trevor Jones FNP and all the healthcare team including when you are greeted at the door, they put you at ease you will receive great care and are very thorough and you are treated quickly as their goal is to help you feel better quickly. This place is amazing! I went in for both my son and I for different needs and both of us were seen quickly. We made an appointment online but didn't need to do so. They're highly organized and very very polite. The care we got was beyond excellent and they make it very convenient for you. I picked up four medications there instead of my pharmacy because I paid $50 for all meds... that's crazy and wonderful! I was involved in a bad car accident during the holidays and I needed to be checked to monitor my healing. I went to Immediate Care, just because it's not far from my home and I had recognized it as new when driving down River Rd. The facility itself and staff are very impressive. Not only did they carefully examine me, they discussed potential issues I should be alert to, prescribed antibiotics (which they had on site) and called me a day later to see how I was doing. ALL staff and medical personnel were professional and extremely knowledgeable. I felt completely comfortable with their advice and treatment and will go back there in a flash if I need medical help in the future.
