Sent home to almost die a few hours later. Don't come here. They don't care. I saw Sean Maley. Update: In response to the comment from this business, I called more than once after I regained my ability to speak in full sentences, and I asked why I was given medication without my knowledge and I just got a bunch of "I don't knows" and "I don't think they'd do that" even after I was sent a survey regarding my visit, I was asked if I wanted a call back, I said yes and I never received one. So I don't know what speaking to this facility again would do to help me in anyway. I even requested my medical records from this facility, and I was never told that the doctor believed I had a serious condition even though it was entered in my notes. And of course, it ended up being exactly that, but I was never told. I am an adult and I should've been told all of this information and not found out later by reading doctors notes. And I also read in my notes that I left with a 2 out of 10 pain. I never ever told anyone that my pain was below a 10. Their "legal counsel " isn't licensed to practice law in the state of AZ.

I went in because a cyst had ruptured behind my knee and I was unable to put weight on that leg. Various tests were done. Then, while we waited for reports, I passed out. We were seated in a hallway, and my husband tried to revive me. He couldn't leave me, for fear I would fall out of my chair. Thankfully, a nurse soon came up; she tried to revive me, and when I did not respond, she moved quickly to get me into a room. No heart attack, but an artery had flattened, and my BP was extremely low. Dr. Joshua Paree was there, and my husband was very impressed with him. He moved quickly, knew exactly what he needed to do and did it. I began to come around while they were working to stabilize me. I received the excellent care I have come to associate with TMC, and I am very grateful. So many nurses, but I remember names of only two: Jenny and Miguel. But all of them were so efficient and so kind.

You area a nurse and we look to you for support and help. The Reason for the 2 stars is because I was there for hours while they still tried to figure out what was wrong, and trying to transport me to the NWMC on Houghton and Old Spanish Trail, the evening nurse was very kind and cared about my well being. He did his best to help, and finally he gave me oxygen to help with the heart and oxygen monitors to stop going off over and over. There was another issue I am not sure which hospital it was but the phone system had gone out so the ER could not reach anyone at the Houghton location to get me moved. How does this happen in 2025. WTH It turned out I had double pneumonia, that was found the next day after two more CT Scans.

The situation didn't improve so we went to Tucson Medical Center ER at 4:30 p.m. yesterday. My daughter is multiply diabled. She was told that they would do a fleet enema and hydrate her. After waiting until 9:30, the procedure was started. It was somewhat successful and she was told that the staff would perform a more aggressive enema. So, she was placed in a private ER room at 10:45 ish. We waited and waited. I asked the nurse 3 times when the nurses would be in to attend to my daughter. Each time I was told that they were making their way through the patients and that the ER was very busy. The 3rd time the nurse told me that the team would be in shortly and that they had the meds ready for the second procedure. We waited and waited. A nurse came in and I mentioned to her that we had been in the private room for 2 1/2 hours waiting with no updates. She left the room. The doctor came in and said that there was a problem with communication between she and the nurses. She said that they had determined that there was no blockage and that my daughter would be released and she should do her own procedures at home-and besides they needed the room for other people who were much sicker than she was. All of this after waiting for 2 1/2 hours. She w as clearly angry. She sssuggested that she could give another enema and have my daughter wait in the waiting room and use the waiting room bathroom!! (which was also dirty) We made the decision to leave. Checked out and went home at 3:00 a.m. - after 10 hours of waiting and waiting. The ER was dirty and very cold. Curtains were torn, floors were dirty and vending machines didn't work. Had to ask for a warmed blanket while I was in the waiting room. Communication was very poor with both patient and staff. The doctor was clearly trying to get rid of my daughter going into detail about how sick the other patients were putting the blame on her instead of the poor communication that they have internally. We will never return to this ER. I will be reviewing the bill when we get it.

A friend on westside of Tucson said that confidence was not experienced at the west Carondelet St. Mary's hospital but I didn't hear the details who , what , when, & why ,respectfully . That said it was very clean efficient , and parking was easy . A large parking tower is located to the south & north side of Carondelet Dr.to enter Surgery outpatient , turn immediately north of the parking structure on east side .

The employees are always friendly and always there to help whenever. They offer a wide variety of things, including out patient surgeries and even diagnoses of new occurring problems.. I would recommend this medical facility to anyone. When I was diagnosed with Type One Diabetes and almost died, the staff here not only brought me back to life and saved my life but also made sure I was stable before sending me home. Even though the transition with diabetes is rough and takes a toll of your mental health, I always remember the care I received to get me to where I am today. They do take appointments, so you are first after them. They don't contract with the VA, so you have to use your Medicare Insurance. No problem, I have learned to have both. In and out in a reasonable time with instructions and ointments and bandages till I come back to have the stitches removed. Glad I came. The staff were great. Very modern office and equipment.

They said none were available. My sister explained she could not walk. The front desk person then snarkly said"well how did she get in the car" it took 4 of us to get her in the car and she lives about an hour away making it even harder for her to walk. I heard nurses/staff making fun of patients and talking bad about them. We were there for 8 hours before they said they couldn't find anything wrong. The next day my mom was worse. Ambulance brought her to UMC. They ran tests and found she had a very bad infection somewhere in her body. NW didn't even catch that. She could have gone into septic shock. Well, ok. Next sign says " patients and guest parking level 1 only." Went around level 1 twice. Each space that was empty, was "reserved." Called security to ask where I could park. Guests and patients can park anywhere in that garage that isn't marked reserved. So up I go. All the way to the top! Where it's not covered parking! Not if I have to pay for it! Left the parking garage! Under 30 min is free. Back to the front door! Valet it is. Waited in line approx 5min. O'! Look! There's a sign that says " Free valet!" Would have been nice to see that at the entrance. The young man that administered the test was very knowledgeable he was very nice and he was very gentle. They could have given us more detailed directions on what to do and not to do or what to expect from this test. Overall it was a good visit but the parking sucks!

Been in ER for 6 hours and still no MD in sight. My family member has had colostomy for 10 yrs., with zero problems. This week she has diarrhea coming out of her rectum and none in her colostomy bag and has severe stabbing pain in anus, but here we sit in the waiting room. Did I mention she is 91? I told the RN the wheelchair's brakes don't work. His response was most of our chair's brakes don't work. God help the people that have to come to this place.

The doctor told me I would be given pain medication, but unfortunately, I got water and meal right before getting discharged. (5 hours later). I was also not given any water or food while waiting for my CT scan results, which took approximately three hours. I understand that sometimes patients need to wait for test results before eating, but the lack of communication and basic comfort during such a long wait was disappointing. The doctor who discharged me was unable to answer most of my questions and had to repeatedly consult with a supervisor. That did not give me much confidence in the discharge process. When the doctor asked if I had eaten, I was given a dry turkey sandwich and two Uncrustables. I would have appreciated a more substantial and healthier option, especially after such a long wait. They also gave me a narcotic that almost made me faint on the way out. On a positive note, my nurse, Anne, was wonderful, and the staff in the radiology department were amazing. They were kind, professional, and made a difficult experience a little easier. Overall, this hospital needs better coordination between departments, improved communication, and stronger physician coverage. The long wait times and lack of clear answers made an already stressful situation much more frustrating.

They took my bf to an operation room by mistake. HOW SCARY! Thankfully one of the doctors called him by his last name and that's when they realized they had a wrong patient. SMH Now I'm trying to make an appointment for him for some testing and they can't make it because the doctor put an order in for wrong thing and they can't make an appointment until that is corrected. It has been a few days already since I first called. I don't event want to give one star but nurses that took care of him during his stay were extremely kind and did their job well so they deserve the star. They definitely need more help though. It seemed very understaffed. Avoid if you can! Unfortunately, this was the closest ER for us.
