From the nurses to the doctors, they all care about people and being a safe and welcoming place to be treated. The wait to be seen and treated is quick. I'd been having issues but couldn't get into an ortho until June. The pain got worse after we'd been traveling. They suspected a blood clot, so they ran a lab test and had results in under an hour. Due to a high reading, they needed to do an ultrasound, and also decided to do an x-ray and MRI since I'd had problems for the past 5 months. All of these tests were done right there in under 4 hours. The wait was only for lab and radiology reports. Dr. Tarr was thorough, knowledgeable, and the kind of doctor you want to see. He visited with me 3 separate times about test results, answered all of my questions, and not once did I feel like he was in a hurry. He explained my knee issues and recommended a follow up with an ortho. A CD was provided in a folder with my MRI and xray info plus paper copies of the analysis for me to see. We had a similar experience 2 years ago with my husband's back issue. No waiting, helpful professionals, clean and quiet facility. (There's also a small, inpatient hospital but we haven't used that.) Another positive is that they offer outpatient services like MRI, x-ray, and blood tests. With a dr order, you could most likely schedule same or next day. You can also pay out of pocket for these and the prices seem very reasonable. Costs are published on their website. (Example, an MRI right now is $550.) I like that kind of transparency plus easy scheduling and minimal wait. The only negative is that since they are physician owned, they can't charge Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare, or AHCCSS due to a federal rule. But if you have private/commercial insurance, this is definitely the place to go! 100% recommend!

I was asked to provide more proof of active insurance, so I showed the lady at the front desk my insurance app which showed clear proof of said insurance. I paid my $10 copay and went on with my day. Last month I got multiple emails and texts stating I had an outstanding bill of $320 dollars. I reached out to Nextcare through their 'contact us' form online. They said they were unable to verify coverage and to call my (now former) insurance provider. I called my former insurance provider and they once again confirmed I had active insurance at the time of service, and also stated that next care hadn't even attempted to bill for the visit. I replied to the first email I got from Nextcare (billingleads) to tell them I did as advised and never got a reply. I've tried calling the billing number and have waited on hold for more than an hour multiple times, with absolutely no answer. They are no longer responding to the 'contact us' online forms and they will not help me at the location. My former insurance provider wants to pay them. They just need to call the provider line I have given them multiple times to get their money. I'm extremely frustrated at this point because they refuse to communicate aside from sending me multiple invoices for money indo no owe them. This is an issue only they can resolve and it's impossible to get ahold of anyone.

She prescribed me antibiotics after I told her I JUST got off of a round of antibiotics a few days ago and told me to make a follow up appointment with my primary care doctor and maybe get a referral to a podiatrist because she couldn't do anything. I pointed to the giant red spots on my feet and she pointed to a red mark that was just my skin and said, "Does this itch?" Are you fucking kidding me? I should have told her, "I don't feel like you're listening to me at all" but I just stayed silent because she clearly was not worth the effort.

You know, most reviews at these types of places and at grocery stores and most fast food chains…read morewill be low stars. Only because many people will only write a review because they had a bad experience. I get that. But it doesn't speak for the hundreds and thousands of satisfied customers that have had positive experiences. So here's one of them. And it is also a new review since the last one was about a year ago. I had a really good experience. First of all, the waiting room is large. It is not a small urgent care where you are cramped in with all the other sickies. This, and I'm assuming all Banner Urgent Cares, have appointments and video conferencing. I make that call based on their app. I set up an appointment and was seen within 5 minutes of that appointment time. When I came, there was only a couple of guys there and they were having a conversation. I think they probably were waiting on a patient. There was a woman and her children that eventually came in, too. So it was not busy. The Nurse Practitioner's name was Debbie and she was cheerful. I liked that. I came in to make sure this cold wasn't turning into a sinus infection. She explained the symptoms of a sinus infection and I could immediately tell I wasn't experiencing one. She also wanted to make sure that I didn't want antibiotics as there was nothing that could be done for a virus. She was pleasant, upbeat, and a good communicator. She also didn't charge me for the visit since there was really nothing that she could do. Bonus! Not sure how an urgent care could get five stars. If I think of a reason, maybe I'll come back and change it to five stars. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Tucson-top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!
