I am completely convinced that my health and the life I have been living for all these years have been greatly enhanced by having Dr. Judy as my doctor. I originally consulted with her when I was in my 30's and I was being treated for infertility with a Fertility Specialist in Tucson. I had had several courses of IVF and massive amounts of hormones and drugs which left me very ill. The fertility treatments also, unfortunately, created multi benign uterine tumors and profuse bleeding which resulted in a full hysterectomy. My surgeon left me with one ovary which he said, "oh one ovary is as good as two ovaries". I immediately when into menopause. Dr Judy tested my hormones and declared "you have the estrogen of an 80-year-old woman". She set up a protocol for bioidentical hormones which I still take. The other very important protocol she advised was a detoxification of the hormones I had taken during the fertility treatments. These hormones may lead to serious illness in the future, and I was very fatigued after years of exposure to the drugs. It took several months of detoxing through herbs, clean diet, colon hydrotherapy, steam rooms and massage. When I completed it, I literally felt better than I had felt in my entire life! I am not exaggerating! Throughout the years I check in with Dr. Judy twice a year or so. As we age and go through our lives different maladies crop up and our bodies change. She analyzes my blood work and sometimes derives very different conclusions than my PCP. She is so knowledgeable about the interplay of the numbers and ratios. She then offers support for these issues through dietary changes, lifestyle changes, and supplements. I am 65 years old now and take no pharmaceutical drugs. Another sweet benefit with having all this care for me is that I look young! People guess I am 10-15 years younger. Of course, I highly recommend Dr. Gianni for her medical acumen, but she is also a kind and wise woman. Her staff are also kind and caring in their interactions, which makes for a enhanced experience.

Dr. Gianni is amazing and very knowledgeable. She has helped my family and I for many years.read more

The MD's could not find a problem but she identified it immediately and had me start treatment on the spot. I have continued with her because of her intuition, kindness, and strong medical knowledge. She wants the right information so expect to have testing done if needed to identify the problem. MD's in general do not understand my system and it is very reassuring to have someone who can understand and support my health.

She had prescribed a pharmaceutical medication, that unbeknownst to me at the time, I was becoming addicted to. I had never been addicted to anything before in my life, so I had no idea what was happening to me. When I went to her in physical distress, she said she can't refill the meds or help, and sent me to the Southside of Tucson to a hole in the wall drug rehab place. I walked in and walked right back out. Instead of telling me this is addiction, let's make a plan to titrate you off the meds, or refer me to a pain management doctor, she bailed. Less than a week later I received a letter from her dismissing me as her patient. While I hold no ill will towards her, IMO, this was unprofessional, a violation of her oath as a doctor, and a cowardly refusal to accept her responsibility. I had not prescribed this medication for myself.

I've been going to Blue Oak Clinic for several years. The clinic is run by to naturepaths, Dr…read more Stark and Dr. Mehrabani. Dr. Stark & Dr. Mehrabani are licensed physicians through the Arizona Naturopathic Board of Medical Examiners. They are husband and wife. One is usually working while the other is at home with the kids. Marina is the assistant. Unlike most medical offices you go to, the atmosphere here is relaxed. It doesn't smell chemically. You don't talk to a receptionist through a glass window. I come here for my blood draws. They work with LabCorp and SonoraQuest, but Marina is so much better at drawing blood than most phlebotomists, she uses butterfly needles (which are smaller and less likely to hurt or bruise) and you don't have to go online, make an appointment and sit in a cold lab receptionist office with 30 other people like you would at LabCorp or SonoraQuest. And while the doctors here practice alternative medicine, they have a thorough understanding of western medicine and can prescribe medication. The great thing is that they don't act like most primary care providers who limit their time to 15 minutes before the buzzer's off and they have to see the next patient. They take their time and explain everything. For them it's very important to educate the patient as much as treating the patient. I also come for B12 and other vitamin shots as needed. I can't say enough good about Blue Oak and their patient care.

Dr. Mehrabani is a terrific listener, spent serious time with me, and met my medial needs. Great communication and never rushed. He has done many simple little things to make my life easier that a regular doctor would turn into an ordeal. However - my insurance is HealthNet and they will not cover what a naturopath prescribes, nor will they cover the office visit itself. HealthNet does cover the labs he prescribes though (which can be done right in his office without delay). Fortunately Dr. Mehrabani is not totally unaffordable, but, I have found a physician now that my insurance will cover. I will continue to see Dr. Mehrabani yearly though because I like his thoroughness. I have two problems with Blue Oak and it is that the female office assistant can be very rude for no apparent reason. This is totally unlike everyone else in the office I have communicated with. And, they refuse to make appointments via email, only via phone, and where I live there is minimal phone service.

Dr DeVille was "the doctor" who diagnosed me with Lyme disease (missed by Mayo and Banner). This... after almost twelve years of "crickets," debilitating autoimmune co-infections and unprofessional comments from previous doctors (it's in your head... your labs are normal...). Dr DeVille goes above and beyond in seeking the causes, and even the effects that seem to plague many of us today. Do NOT be affraid to ask questions!! She's also a great educator in all things health. Am I cured? Lyme isn't curable, but it and its co-infections are highly manageable now. Her staff has been beefed up and are spot on with their assistance! I appreciate all that they do! ** YES people, there may be a 2-3 month wait, so ask to be put on the cancellation list! This is a private practice and is like a specialty referral so take a deep breath. Key items. Labs. Ask always if/where to get prior to. Be flexible and open to what she suggests. Ask for alternatives in pharmacies, etc. There may be upfront costs. Again, she is considered as a private provider vs conventional/traditional healthcare provider. Lastly... she does zoom style calls if needed. That's a huge plus!!
