My excitement ended as soon as the MA close the door to the patient room I was in. I have a 2 year old daughter who was with me, I am a single mom and on my days off from work it's just her and I. She goes to all doctors appts with me, but this time I was appalled. It was a new patient appt, the front desk staff was great with customer service, even when I called them to make the appointment and follow up to see if they got my medical notes from my current OBGYN. Before the MA greeted me she asked me if I have someone with me to watch my daughter. I replied no, her whole demeanor and body language changed after my response. She and I went back and forth with conversation about how I need to have someone watch her for this appointment. I explained I'm a single mom and I don't have that option and that she sits with me for other appointments. This is all very understandable that they are concerned about the liability of it. The flabbergasting moment was when the MA looked me straight in the face and said in a very passive tone of voice "we are not a Babysitting service ". At this moment I did get assertive with my tone to say if I can't have my daughter with me then the appointment will have to be cancelled and to with drawl my application. I expressed to the MA that id never expect them to take responsibility for my child as if we are at a day care center. The MA said she would ask the Provider and office manager about having my child with me. After a few mins of waiting and just trying to process what had happened I went back to the front and ask to speak with the office manager, I felt extremely uncomfortable and very disrespected as a woman but most importantly as a mother. Not a feeling I'd ever think I'd feel out of all places! An OBGYN office?? I could see and hear the office manager and the MA talking in the office behind the front desk, and i quickly realized the MA was the one uncomfortable about my child and was very unprofessional telling the office manager that my child was running around and she didn't feel it was appropriate to have my child with me. The office manager took me into her office and backed her MA up with saying such things " your child can't be running up and down the hall". My child is not that way. She was right in front of me the time we waited to go back and I carried her once we got called back. The office manager claimed she understood what it was like to be a single mom for 22 years. But does she really?? I didn't feel she really did, she continued to back her MA to say their Office isn't safe for kids and that her MA didn't mean to say they weren't a Babysitting service. I'm glad she backs her team and I see the effort from a business standpoint. The office manager asked me if I have a stroller or a carrier for her I replied no because I didn't think it would be required for this appointment, she told me other parents at least have their kids in a stroller. I walked out of the office and told them this wouldn't be a fit, I waited over months!!! For this appt just to be told we can't see you because they are uncomfortable with me having a child in the appointment with me. I know kids are not always invited but usually a business would have enough etiquette to say hey, we ask children under the age of blank be accompanied by another adult. This wasn't a conversation had prior and I am in disbelief that an OBGYN office had this type of attitude, we should be empowering woman and all types of moms single or not, not making them feel lesser then because they work hard to teach their children to have respect for people places and things at a young age because as a single mom I don't have any other choice. I say that proudly. So maybe this is a good office but maybe not for those who have children especially if you don't have anyone to watch them when you go. read more

I struggled for years trying to get regular providers to listen to me. They would just run basic blood work and say everything was fine. Dr. Arianna ran extensive panels, reviewed the results "with" me, and found the problem. I have hope of feeling healthy again for the first time in 5 years. Plus, there are spa styles services. Fast forward all these years later and no matter how many times I unsubscribe from receiving their emails, they always end up sending me more emails. This place is unorganized. Love this office. From the minute I walked through the door the Front Desk Manager to the Consultation Specialist to the Dr were awesome. The Consultation Specialist was honest and made sure my expectations matched with what they could achieve. Not to mention she was friendly and helped put my nerves at ease ....Dr was quick and informative. She talked me through my injections and I appreciate it. Very little pain. She answered a couple other questions I had and then that was it. They were honest with my results and instead of trying to up sell me they said I could always add more. I love that. Believe they really want me to get the best results. Only downside was there was a bit of a wait but that allowed me to look at all the cool products. read more

I had a wonderful experience yesterday at Tula Wellness! I love the idea of a comprehensive, integrated clinic for women. I felt right at home! The space is calming and very welcoming. Karina was amazing and was able to provide me with skin care recommendations to maintain healthy skin. Dr. Arianna is by far the best in the business! I needed a few injections for scaring and she not only listened to my needs, but helped with the pain (I'm a wimp when it comes to needles :-( ) . I have yet to meet Dr. Arianna but have been nothing but impressed with the care I was given by Barbara Cooper. After years - many long years - of eating right and working out, I could not lose weight. Other doctor visits were pointless - my thyroid was checked a few times but always came back normal and I swear they thought I was lying about my efforts. Then I went to Tula Wellness and met with Barbara who was so kind and understanding. She ran some additional tests that showed I had a deficiency. She reviewed my results thoroughly with me, gave me some supplements, provided some additional tips, and within a week - the pounds were dropping! I now get to enjoy cake without worrying about gaining 5 lbs!! So...thank you Barbara Cooper and Dr. Ariana for letting me have the ability to eat some cake (in moderation) AND FINALLY lose some weight! read more

After initially being treating extremely well, their office started not responding to messages and not calling in prescriptions. Initially they told me there was a software change in their messaging system and that they hadn't known how to use it the first week it was installed. Ok. Then a prescription I was told would be called in never was, I called and asked about it to be told they'd call me back that day or the next. I waited several days and never heard from them and the prescription was not called in. So I called again and asked about it and the person on the phone went into a long description about how busy they are and how they have too many patients and yes, I fell through the cracks. Then there was confusion about which prescription they were supposed to be giving me and assumed I had no idea which prescription I was supposed to use in which location on my body (not the case) and told me not to call them anymore....! Not going back here. This is not how you treat patients. If you have too many patients that you get angry when you forget to follow through on their care, then your practice has a problem, not the patient. read more

I've been going to Tula Wellness for a few years now for services and I just love this place. I get botox done on my forehead every 3 months and Dr. Arianna does an excellent job. She's very personable, along with her entire staff. I've also had facials, chemical peels and IPL treatments done here, all with excellent results. Tula Wellness offers botox discounts often and they also hold open houses that offer "excellent" discounts on many of their services. I highly recommend Tula Wellness and I know I'll continue going here for years to come. read more

I went in for a consultation for my thyroid (Hashimoto's) and hormone imbalance. The practice requires that you fill out an intake form that asks all kinds of information and the specifics about the problem you want to solve (good). I took my time and filled this out thoroughly. Sadly, during my visit, my consultation consisted of the practitioner asking me the same questions I had already addressed on the intake form. She recommended a couple books, gave me some handouts, reviewed my vitamin list and prior bloodwork (that I brought in), and ordered more blood work. She also recommended I purchase two additional supplements from their practice (I bought them and realize I didn't have to). The consultation was $250 dollars which was a ridiculous amount of money for the service/value I received. The supplements were another $100. The practitioner was very nice but she told me nothing I didn't already know with my own reading and research. I can order my own blood work via a new program Quest has for self ordered blood work and saved myself the $250 consult cost. Please make sure you call the practice beforehand and ask their costs and what deliverables you will be getting for this price. I expected to meet with the thyroid/hormone specialist and get some ground breaking information regarding my condition. Instead, I was told I can meet with her after my blood work comes back for another $200. I was very disappointed in the value of service I received for the amount I paid and sadly won't be returning. read more
