Update: I've been going for about 7 months now and it is the best decision I could have made! There has been so much hair reduction on each area that I really don't have to shave anymore. I have been serviced by Rhiannon, Lisa, and Vanessa and all of them are super knowledgeable and fun to talk to. It really makes the process easier and bearable. For this location, specifically, everyone is so nice and hospitable. I have never come one day in the 7 months that I have been getting services where customer service was lacking. Getting services can sometimes be a bit grueling or awkward - you just want to get in and get out...not here! I never thought I would hear myself say that getting lasered is fun. I always get the opportunity to chat and laugh with my girls upfront - you'd think we all knew each other for years or were Sorority Sisters! It just feels like you are really hanging out with your girls (minus the drinks). It always feels like Happy Hour when I see them (well they do actually make me happy, lol). Paloma, Reagan...I could name everyone but then this review would turn into a directory. All of the ladies are amazing! I can rave all day about that but I definitely want to make sure to emphasize the quality of service. I have searched for years for the right laser to work for me and I have been a bit disappointed. Being a darker skin tone, it can be hard to come across the proper equipment. I literally don't own razors or shaving cream anymore as it isn't a necessity as it once was. Updated review: After trying to get ahold of them for months my file came across a Mandy from Oakland California's desk. One of the most rude unprofessional ladies I've ever spoken too. She did not care as to what I was saying, said that I basically lied when I told her one of her reps told me 10 sessions would take my tattoo off and got told "our sales doesn't say that" WHEN SHE DID say that! Called her over 10x for her to call me back at like 7pm! Was told we don't do refunds cause that's what the waiver states it's your body that does most of the work! All in all do not go here! The Tucson staff is so wonderful! I come to LaserAway for IPL and laser tattoo removal of my half-sleeve so it's a lot of pain. I cannot recommend LaserAway in La Encantada, Foothills Tucson, Arizona. After three years of attending appointments every three months--totaling 12 treatments and thousands of dollars--I was left profoundly disappointed and frustrated. Initially, I was reassured that significant progress would be noticeable in the later stages of the treatment. However, even with one year left and four treatments to go, my concerns about the lack of visible progress were met with vague assurances that they would "do what was necessary." After three long years of time, money, and pain, my tattoo was only slightly faded at best. This is not the package I was sold. I also questioned the absence of a physician or nurse practitioner during my treatments. The technicians were rarely the same, and my last treatment was administered by a recently graduated aesthetician with no prior experience in laser ablations. This type of treatment should be performed or at least supervised by a licensed physician or nurse practitioner. I received no satisfactory explanations and was told I needed to purchase more treatments with no clear end in sight. Frustrated, I consulted my dermatologist at Banner Dermatology on Skyline and Pima Canyon. Dr. Rebecca Thiede, along with Dr. Gerald N. Goldberg, an expert in dermatologic laser surgery certified in over 30 laser modalities, reviewed my situation. Within days, Cynthia, a nurse who schedules their laser treatments, reached out to me. The difference was astounding. I received numbing lidocaine injections, unlike the numbing cream at LaserAway, for which I had to pay extra. Remarkably, the cost of the numbing cream at LaserAway was almost equivalent to an entire treatment with Dr. Thiede and Dr. Goldberg, who personally performed the laser treatment with two assistant nurses in the procedure room. After just one treatment with them, I saw more results than I had in three years and 12 treatments at LaserAway. Subsequent appointments were based on thorough medical evaluations, not a "package deal." At each treatment, both physicians reevaluated the type of laser and its intensity to achieve optimal results. After three months and just three treatments, my tattoo is no longer visible. The follow-up appointments were thorough, with no extra fees, to monitor the healing process. For anyone considering tattoo removal, I strongly urge you to seek professional medical care from a licensed dermatologist specializing in laser removals. The level of care and expertise provided by true medical professionals is invaluable and cannot be replicated by the substandard service I experienced at LaserAway. read more

Oof.. where to start First of all the staff are amazing, especially Lisa and Rhiannon. Thank you ladies! The business itself and how they handle the payment process is terrible. The lending company they were using back in January was Ally Lending, they gave me a 26.7% APR, which they give back once you pay it off within 12 months. Still, the information wasn't clear from the start and was shady when it came to the payments. My expectations were high for a place that charged me $2300 for laser treatment (underarms and face). I was hoping that my facial hair would be completely gone after 10 treatments. but it's still coarse. I'm on hormone therapy that reduces hair coarseness and the amount of hair so the treatments should've worked better. When I voiced what was going on they tried to sell me a "maintenance package" that included 3 more treatments for $550. There was no way I was going to pay that much for 3 treatments. Oh that included a "discount". LaserAway is overpriced and not worth it since I still have coarse hair on my face. Yay... Look at your options and do your research before you book anything at Laser Away. I should've done my research before I went with them and ended up with a face full of hair and minus $2000. P.S. the underarms were better, hair is not completely gone but it's just peach fuzz which I know it's hard to get with the laser. read more

I go to LaserAway for tattoo removal and have been for IPL facials. The ladies are always super friendly and professional at the location I go to. My tattoo is slowly, but surely fading so I'm super excited about that. The only "complaint" I would say I have is I'm not a huge fan of LaserAway's sales structure. Whenever I apply for any coupons, I'm contacted by phone, email, and text multiple times over for "an initial consult" by random sales reps out of California when I'm already a (Arizona) customer and even if it's a service I've already been seen for in the past. I would not recommend this place to absolutely anyone! Please do your research before you spend so much money on something like this. I can't tell I ever had laser at all and I completed my entire package of 8 sessions. They tried to con me into "buying more sessions at a super discounted rate" since I didn't get the desired results. Lol why would I spend more money on something that didn't work? Not to mention e every single appointment I went in for they would tell me I was too tan and make me incredibly uncomfortable. I understand the laser picks up pigment, but how are you going to sell me a package and then make me feel like it can't be done every-time I come in. I am a tan person it's the pigment of my skin, I was not tanning my armpits and Brazilian areas, lol wtf? Additionally, this place sold me Botox. They do not tell you before you purchase that the nurse can only do a certain amount and in certain areas. I needed more than 60 units so the lady told me to get two packages. I purchased two Botox packages only for the nurse to tell me I could use HALF of them that day and only in my forehead and crows feet. This is the worst place ever. I cannot warn people against Laser Away enough. I started laser hair removal here about a year ago and have just completed my underarm treatment and have one treatment left for Brazilian. I'm still shaving regularly - it's like I haven't had a single treatment. I brought my concerns up about halfway through all the required sessions because I hadn't noticed a difference, but was essentially told there was nothing they could do and that everyone is different, and to keep at it. I have fair skin but dark hair. I understand everyone's hair and bodies react differently, but if you're charging me $3000 for a service and you can't meet the expectations that come with that hefty price tag, that's just not fair and you need to be transparent about that. That was a LOT of money for me, and I feel like I may as well have lit it on fire for what it's gotten me. I originally signed up and paid for my upper lip as well. Unlike the other two areas, this hair was very light and fine. It should have never been a candidate for laser hair removal, and any ethical place would have cautioned against it. Laser Away encouraged me to try it and took my money for it. When I insisted on canceling the remaining sessions because I finally realized it wouldn't work, there was of course no option for a refund. They gave me a prorated credit and accepted zero responsibility. So, in a nutshell, I have paid about $3000 for laser hair removal at Laser Away and walked away with about as much hair as I've started with, and I'm SOL on the list money because they do not stand by their work and accept any responsibility for not delivering results. Staff are nice, but it's a corporate company and all they care about are sales. This is evident form the moment you first inquire and get calls and texts immediately pushing you to sign up for a consultation (which is just a sales pitch). Totally unprofessional and unethical for a company that provides such personal services. Do not go here. read more

I requested for a consultation for laseraway---getting laser removal on very small tattoos on my fingers. The 'Consultant" which was a "SALES ASSOCIATE", did not give me any offer other than some kind of CONTRACT B.S. I was extremely upset by this because she basically backed me up in a corner on the phone about not signing the final agreement which was to actually to get the physical work done on myself. This is costing me almost $2,000 to get extremely small tattoos off. The service was great at the place---but to pay that much, clearly these people are making a profit off of other people's misery. I ended up finding another place that has medical grade gear for laser removal and the Sales associate, Nikolina W. was questioning me about "why find another place and that they will not guarantee the same results." So Yes, I'm going to drag this place through the mud. This sales associate/consultant never gave me a 'one time price' or a "total one time price" that I could pay in increments without having to get my credit check. Laseraway could DO BETTER, but along with many of these places---they just want to make money of people's regrets. So unfortunately I'm stuck in doing this B.S. with this company through a contract...which I never wanted to sign up for in the first place. I only wanted a "consultation" which was supposed to be FREE. Now let's talk about the service---not bad, could be better. I was confused why I was like "sterilized" before receiving laser treatment. So I'm glad I went to the restroom and washed my hand up well. I'm going to finish my 'treatments' but I want to WARN PEOPLE, just don't do this with Laseraway. They just want your money. After that I was quoted a price for services I didn't want only to be ridiculed by the front desk person bc I didn't know my social security number when asking about financing my services. I've worked out hard my whole life and eat very clean but I've always had a trouble spot around and below my belly button. I've been interested in fillers, I googled local locations saw a promotion for 100$ off juvaderm expressed interest in their website, immediately received a text about a virtual zoom consultation yet 10 minutes later a sales person called me. She was extremely nice but just as pushy. Immediately told me I needed two syringes even after I expressed I was looking for a natural plump look as my lips are already very much full. send me Financing information and would not let me off the phone until completed kept stating "let me know when you've completed that so I can go over more details with you." This is all without even seeing what my lips looked like, felt super rushed into making this decision and purchasing and even financing, not to mention over selling me was not cool. I asked her the next day to cancel one syringe as I did my own research and knew I did not need or want a two, to which she responded she professionally recommended I keep it. I just don't feel Laseraway is a good fit for me in general after that experience. I came in for a Clear and Brilliant facial and had a great experience. I have normal to dry skin with some freckles from sun exposure. From what I gathered, the laser resurfacing treatment has shown: - Improvement in the look of fine lines - Reduction in the appearance of pores - Improvement to skin tone and texture - Improvement in skin's overall appearance The appointment started promptly and I started with a consultation to assess if I was a good candidate for the procedure. After finding I was a good fit, I was walked through the procedure itself by the attending nurse, Ashton. The procedure lasted approximately 45 minutes. Ashton applied a topical numbing cream to my face for 30 minutes to minimize discomfort. The laser treatment itself was only 15-20 minutes! The sensation was hard to describe...I could feel warmth and slight discomfort especially on the edges of my face but Ashton was super accommodating and would give me a quick break when needed. What a beautiful location- I've been to the chandler one and this one is way nicer and it's conveniently located in my favorite shopping center! I recently went in to do some self care and treat yourself beauty rejuvenation. I came into the office and was sweetly greeted. I just had a short wait to fill out the consents and was brought back a few minutes later. Kelly was phenomenal! She explained the procedure thoroughly and was very gentle in apply the numbing cream. I got the clear and brilliant facial. I had to be numb for 30 mins and Kelly made sure I had some water to sip on and channel surf to keep me entertained. When we did the treatment she made sure to not go over my acne area so it wouldn't spread, and then went over my brown spots a few extra time to ensure I get good results. I'll have to come back to get even better results. The after care was clear - SUNSCREEN - & sandpaper texture skin but a guaranteed baby butt smooth face with smaller pores and guess what she was pretty accurate about that. All of them have past obstetric and gynecological experience, so it's not some rando with a laser.
