I had my first microblading on my eyebrows right before going on vacation and Deanna made sure my appt would work so I could go with them done. I've since had them touched up and love them even more. I can wake up and even before I put on makeup I feel more 'finished'. Deanna is an artist and ensures that color and shaping are just right for each individual. Deanna is an artist, in every sense of the word. After doing some digging around to find someone to do my eyeliner (top/bottom) that was NOT SofTap, I landed on Deanna. ONE, because she had solid and consistent great reviews on various sites and TWO, her space is across from my Bestie/Hair Stylist so I had seen clients come out incredibly happy with her work... in addition to seeing her work on others before I booked my own appt. Let me preface my thoughts by saying I have done SofTap twice for eyeliner in the last 10 years and it fades fast. I wanted to find someone who was skilled and did not use that method. Thankfully there are professionals who keep integrity at the core of their expertise. My micro blade eyebrows experience was top of the line. Deanna kept me well informed of what to expect from the beginning. This was my first permanent makeup. I did not know what to expect. What I received was a pair of pleasingly sculpted micro blade eyebrows. They far exceed any expectation I had. Deanna's Salon is clean, organized, inviting and comfortable. Her welcoming personality made me feel right at home and therefore not nervous at all. She assessed my eyebrows and explained her interpretation of how she wanted to proceed. After signing consent and reviewing my skin type she went to work. Having eyebrows micro bladed takes some time, but, for me it flew by. Deanna is so personable, the conversation flowed, naturally. This woman is the absolute worst person & I hope that anyone who is looking at getting permanent makeup done stays away from her at all costs. It's been about four years but Deanna RUINED my face. I came in to get freckles tattooed and instead of turning me away like she ethically should've, she did them. She had me mark my face with a pen to show where I wanted them. I have no issue with the placement, it was the size and color, which is what I had trusted her to oversee. She told me after a week or so that it would go to a brown color but they never did. I had huge black dots all over my face and it made me so insecure I had to spend almost a thousand dollars trying to undo the damage she caused my face. My face still has them to this day in addition to all the removal I've had, and it's been years. I came into this salon for a haircut and recognized this is where she was so I grabbed a business card & I will be doing everything in my power to get the board of cosmetologies attention with this situation. I need to premise my review with my extensive history of permanent cosmetics... I have had my brows, liner, and lips done at least 3 times each over the last 20 years. In Washington State, I have only had positive experiences. When I moved here in 2013, I needed touch-ups and the search was on. One artist's work lasted one year and she has (thankfully) moved away. My worst experience happened 3 months ago (Blush in Tucson)... 2 touch-ups didn't take and Michele was 20 minutes late with a pack of excuses. Enter Deanna... Unprofessional. Rescheduled last minute, double booked, kept asking me to repeat my situation, ignored my history. I spoke with Deanna by phone for an hour prior to my first appointment explaining my history and situation. The night before my first appointment (less than 12 hours prior)I received a text asking me to change times. With some rearranging I was able to do so. During my first appointment I re-explained my situation. Much of the three hours during this appointment was spent with Deanna just talking about totally unrelated topics. I had explained twice already that microblading does not work for me due to my medical history and inquired if she was able to perform the technique I had previously. She assured me microblading would work and that it hadn't worked due to my previous provider just not knowing what she was doing. I had already scheduled my follow up appointment when I scheduled my first. Two weeks prior, Deanna texted me to confirm my follow up which I did confirm. At 6 am the morning of my appt Deanna texted me telling me that since I had not confirmed she didn't know if I was showing or not. I reminded her that I did confirm And she told me she was going to be late since she didn't know if I was going to show. I agreed and showed up at exactly the rescheduled time. Upon arrival I saw she was working on someone. When I entered, she asked me who I was. I told her my name and reminded her that she and I had been texting since 6 that morning. She looked at the person in her chair, and asked her who she was. She doubled booked us. Then she started asking me about my history, again. I replied that we had already had this conversation twice before (and I wasn't comfortable disclosing my personal business in front of the stranger in her chair). Then she looked at me and stated the microblading didn't really work and she didn't want to do more if it wasn't going to last. I asked if she could do the procedure I had originally requested upon our first phone call and she was noncommittal. She rescheduled me stating that, "the person before you won't mind, she's nice", which I took to mean she was going to cancel on someone else last minute. I confirmed the new time I was to return and asked her if I should text her or if she was going to make a note of the new time. She responded, "I don't have dementia". I left and she called me to cancel stating she wasn't comfortable working with me anymore. Then she referred me to someone for acupuncture. read more

Deanna did a wonderful job on my top liner. She is a very busy woman so it might be awhile to get in, but it's worth it. She takes her time and makes sure that you look fabulous. She is chatty but it's helps to keep your mind off of the buzzing. The tattooing part was not so bad, as she kept numbing when it started to hurt. It really just felt like she was using a buzzing eye pencil. The soreness afterwards hurts more that the actual tattoo. And just like other tattoos on your body, they is quite a bit of after care. I was looking for someone to do eyeliner but I wanted mine by tearduct or waterline. Now its extremely sensitive part and potentially dangerous . I called Deanna, she was very comforting in explaining the process and her education in doing this procedure . Lucky for me, she was able to accommodate me. She was able to get me in quickly as she had a cancellation I was very thankful. When she started the process she made sure she explained every bit of it and made sure I was more than comfortable if at any time I had any pain she would take care of it. Meaningless to say it was truly like a buzzing pencil she stopped and would show me at certain times in the procedure to let me know if this is what I truly wanted. When she was all done it shows that she is a perfectionist. I was very happy with the outcome. I will say this she is fantastic at what she does now if the client is someone that can sit still and not move their eye or is not fearful then their procedure to would come out perfect.
