Every turn was a whole collection of either movies, toys, cds, vintage collectibles. Looking in their music section I took a shot in the dark and asked if they had any Mighty Mighty Bosstones. The owner Steve and his wife (super friendly people) checked inventory. They searched all over high and low. I didn't want to send them on a goose chase so I said no worries. Steve took my number down then texted me 30 minutes later after finding the CD. I was super stoked. Just talking to them it made me feel at home and welcomed being a nerd or someone who cherishes the past. Great people with just as great customer service. I love buying from local stores and shops in Fullerton there is so much history and so many places to check out. Black Hole should be considered a local institution for heavy punk, new wave, Brit pop and alternative music lovers. When I was looking for the obscure bands that the radio and Hollywood would not play or give love to I could always count on Black Hole records to fill that void of artistic need for the different and not the mundane. Bill is very knowledgeable when it comes to music and you can easily spend hours talking to him about music. He also has a band called naughty women check them out. It beats waiting for albums to come in the mail from Amazon crime.
